Hmmmm.... for James, have him actually ask Lydia about her feelings and thoughts because she will probably never just bring them up them up to him. She's never really had someone she can intimately talk with and she has never had occasion to do so... so yeah. lol
Johnny... to reconcile with his family, tell him that he loves them but he also loves Echo and that while he respects them and their customs, he can't force those on Echo because it's not her way of life. That aside, he is already the black sheep of the family and whatever opinions people have of his family because of him aren't likely to change.
Kenren... make him choose between love and status. How badly does he want the throne compared with how much he cares for Chenglei?

Lol indeed. James wouldn't bring it up either unless it's a real problem. He just thinks, "Oh, Lydia, wants to do it herself. I can respect that. Sure I want to be her knight in shining armor, but if she doesn't want to (misinterprets her silence), then I'm not going to force her. Who am I talking to anyway?"

So what would Kenren's first decision be after he was told that Lydia's sealing cuffs weren't working anymore?

Well, first thing he'd do is see if she's a threat --- like, dragon possesses her, she rains fire on them all kind of threat --- and as much as they're friends and all he knows there are more important things so he'd have his soldiers aim their weapons at her. Him included, and would kill her if he saw the dragon in her eyes instead of her.

I kinda' figured that... but also... you think he's aware of her being a virtue? Because I would think that would kinda' affect his decision if he knew since he'd be like, "okay the prophecy calls for this group of people... so if I kill one of them...?"

Oh, yeah! He'd be aware. But weighing the pros and cons of the now, he has his people to take care of. He'd capture Lydia if he could, but as Lydia is a deadly spell-caster who can stun them all/burn them all at once, he'd opt to err on the safe side and kill her.

*Rubs her chin* yeah... so she shows them that she summoned Sasha because of course she is proud and excited since she did it without words and Kenren is suspicious because he's like, "okay so she can use magic now without saying anything..." but he checks her over and it doesn't seem like anything is wrong at all because she seems like the same old Lydia but that doesn't cause him to lower his guard.
The Sea King continues his work and on the surface it seems like Lydia will be healed by the next day because there is virtually no presence of the dragon in her heart and he attributes that to the fact that she summoned Sasha with her heart, but he is still wary because he recognized the presence of the dragon and so he maybe kinda' knows that he is cunning and so he keeps an eye on her. So while they think that she is healed the next day, she actually isn't because the dragon was just temporarily dormant and after a couple days, he attacks and uses Lydia's magic to try and kill Kenren and he was no longer suspicious because they thought she had been healed but at the last minute, the Sea King blocks her attack and kinda' takes her into his care, like entrapping her I guess? So she can't hurt anyone and they can't hurt her and then he continues the healing process for the next like seven days until she is healed for sure. So it'll be like more intense healing.
