I live in a quiet place by the sea and close to the mountains. I'm used to hearing rooster crows, birds, wind rustling the bamboo grove, my dogs, my cats, distant sounds of cars passing by, but not people talking outside my bedroom window.

Sirens, drunks screaming, random giggling, and the cars driving by, I can sleep through. What I cannot sleep through are silly pigeons hitting the aircom and windows, someone coming in my room, and my alarm clock. XD Other than that, I'll sleep through the world's ending I bet. XD

I feel like I'm getting a cold. xD I was just laying down with the baby for TWO HOURS because he didn't want to go to sleep without me and whenever I got up he'd wake up and start crying. xD

Oh no. Yikes. Drink a lot of orange juice or water. Tea if that helps. Or! If your throat gets scratchy, eat two spoonful of honey or make ginger tea or eat ginger candy. That helps.
