Why, what happened?

So yesterday night, my co-worker and I were getting ready to leave around 9:00 or 9:30 when a lady called to book in a 10:00 slot...that does not exist. I told my co-worker that she needs to book it later because there's no 10:00 slot to book and he told me that she sounded desperate. So I told him that I'll talk with her. That's when I realized, yea she sounded desperate. I told her that I can put her in the system as long as she came at a certain time which she did. Of course...I was tired but I wanted to know why she needed to play an escape room and she told me that she and her aunt were having issues with their partners. From what I can guess they were verbally abused...based on how this lady described her reason for really wanting to play.
Today and tomorrow I got the days off!! ^W^ I'm so happy to have a break. I think Karma was like "Okay, you suffered for a day. Here, have a break."

They told me it's because they needed to escape from their nasty reality. You know? Like they needed something to distract their minds from painful words their husbands said to them that night. I'm gonna hear this now. ^W^

It seems like they are doing a lot better even when they didn't make it. XD They complimenting each other and tried to stay positive, from what I can see. So...I think they'll be okay for now. I just hope they get out of their marriages. No love story deserves abuse like that, to have someone feel like they need an escape.

Thanks but I'm just speaking truth here. XD I kind of wanted to tell them to just leave their husbands but at the same time...it wasn't my business or right to tell them what to do. Since I don't know them.
