Other How many of y’all ACTUALLY read written works? (wannabe author here!)

Hello!

I’m interested in posting my chapter book in the written forums someday, however, I don’t know how many willing reads I will achieve.
For years I’ve tried posting on Wattpad and Quotev with low success.
I really feel like there aren’t very many opportunities for authors like myself.

So, onto the main question…
How many people here are actually willing to read a full chapter book on RP Nation?

I love reading! The medium doesn't usually matter to me. It never hurts to post it here. There is also AO3 to post on as well.

books have moved to neobooks and wattpad and audio books. no more hard backs.

Nah I definitely still prefer hardbacks and I buy mostly hardback books.

I don't mind reading on other platforms, but nothing beats a good book in your hands and some tea.

most people use dedicated sites for that like AO3 and, as you said, Quotev and Wattpad. again, i think you'd do well with it here. perhaps you should contact a publisher and see what they have to say with what you have.
