Chitchat How long does it take to find rp partners?

Just curious about the average time it takes for different kinds of roleplayers to find a partner.
Also, how many of you are also on other sites to increase your chances? Do you post the same interest checks in all of them?

The time it takes wavers. You have to find someone that meshes well with you and the characters/world you write.

Personally, I'm on one other forum and I play FFXIV. Though I haven't done much 1x1 rp in the forums since I like groups more, my XIV rp is a 1x1.

I rarely got any chance myself as i am not into any popular fandoms, it take forever.

Depends on who I want to play. If I accept that OCs are 10000x more likely to be accepted and have rps to join. I can find something eventually. Now if I want to play who I REALLY want to in settings I REALLY want to? I haven't done that in years. Probably never will even if I run it myself.

Just depends on how niche/specific you are. Sometimes you just have to settle for pure fanfiction.
