Name: Lukas Nightingale

Appearance: Light Blue eyes with flecks of green (obviously isn't dressed in armor)

Weapons: Lukas was taught by his father to use a katana from a young age, though Casualry are not allowed to have any sort of weapon education, he only knows a little of the basics and is not too skilled with it.


Does he/she want to be a Samurai: Yes. He needs to be or he feels his revenge will not fully be completed.


Personality:


Hot-Headed and equipped with a silver tongue, Lukas often finds him in situations that he can't worm his way out of. He isn't one to give up on anything and will go to any extreme he sees fit. Lukas finds time in any situation to flirt with anything that walks and doesn't take life as seriously as he should. He plays with people's emotions only so he can make himself feel better about his strong desire to avenge his life that was destroyed.


Even with his hollow exterior, he puts loyalty into high regard and will not abandon a comrade. He will protect those he cares about until his last breath, and will even make a contract with a demon to keep people he loves safe.

Appearance: Madara hair goes down to waist-length with shoulder-length bangs framing the sides of his face, covering most of his right eye. Although still young, more prominent creases had developed under each of his eyes. At most times he wears maroon armor with numerous metal plates, forming protective guards along his chest, waist, shoulders and thighs. (Hope you don't mind the picture I will change it if need be)

Weapons: Two Ninjato


Does he/she want to become a Samurai: He always has wanted to be.


Personality: Madara is normally a calm and cool type of guy until a fight starts which shows a side that would be frowned upon by the church so he trys to keep it hidden. Madara unlike most people loves fighting above all else: the sights, the sounds, the taste of his own blood. Yet he is disciplined in a fight, never allowing his failed plans or attacks to upset him, never letting superior numbers or power intimidate him, and always willing to do whatever must be done to gain victory, even if he must "lower" himself with unbecoming tactics or excess displays. This makes him very versatile in combat, ever willing and able to change tactics and exploit advantages. He is perfectly aware of his talents and does not feign modesty, bluntly stating when he is stronger than his opponent and belittling them when they continue to defy him. Conversely, if he is proven wrong or somebody poses a legitimate challenge to him, he will admit it, apologize for previous remarks if necessary, and if and when he gains the upper hand he will not drag out his opponent's suffering. He believes in one main thing without Law or Chaos the world would be unbalanced.

Personality: Very determined. She will finish what she started and hides her fear well, but she isn't always fearless. She is silent, yet she can speak if she wants to. Her brother was chosen years before, but mysteriously disappeared after that.

Appearance: (Can include description as well as picture) Icy blue eyes with pink hair. The hair on the right side of her head is spiked and pointed outwards, the hair to the left is curled together in a tangled mess and hangs down her left.

Weapons: She uses a flanged mace in her left hand and a steel shortsword in her right.


Does he/she want to become a Samurai: Yes!


Personality: True to her name, Hel uses two personalities. When interacting with other nobles and samurai, she will show them the utmost respect, even if she doesn't particularly like them as a person. She has a certain distaste when it comes to commoners. She never wants to spend more time than necessary around them, she doesn't see them as the lowest group of people in a caste system, she sees them as a kind of necessary evil. She thinks of them as savages but sees the use for them as most commoners are farmers, they provide food so she tolerates them, just not very tolerant. She also loves to fight, as it's her way of venting, she doesn't have the strongest build but she makes up for it in tenacity.


Bio: Hel grew up as a privileged child, growing up in a family of nobles as the youngest child. She had two other siblings that always roughed her around and picked on her since she was the youngest, the parents were never the wiser and Hel was scared of what would happen if she told them...so he was pushed around until she was at the age of 13.


She was 13, walking through the kingdom streets when she came upon a training yard, it was filled with men and women, sparring with different weapons. Her eyes gleamed with curiosity as she walked through the yard, watching the swords, daggers, spears, bows, maces, hammers, axes, etc cut the air, creating sparks when meeting another weapon. Someone yelled a warning and out of instinct she ducked down, a giant axe swinging horizontally over her head. Picking herself up and turning, the wielded was a giant of a man, full beard and clad in plated armor, leaning on his axe, a smile on his face. Enraged, Hel charged at him, all her frustrations pouring out as she punched the man, not caring that her fists were bleeding from the armor. Seeing the fire that Hel had in her, he decided to teach her how to fight, every night as she snuck out of her home to meet him at the yard. Over time as she became skilled, the man outfitted her with a mace and shortsword, the shortsword making fun of her height at 5'8. Now she wanted very much to become a samurai, to fight and defend the kingdom she very much loved, with all her strength, she was going to decide which would prevail...Law or Chaos.

As seen in the Photograph (Although the blade is quite a bit smaller). A glaive like polearm used by his Father and Grandfather before him. A family heirloom of sorts. He is almost terrible at using it though, as he was given no training until a month ago when he received the invitation to participate in the selection process. As such, it's not very useful until he receives more training. And for now he can barely do more than lift it.


Besides that. He was given basic fencing training at his request and as such has a ceremonial and sports rapier that he hasn't used for years. It's a simple rapier with a flower petal designed handle. Not very useful in more than a basic duel.





Does he want to become a Samurai


In actuality. No, he doesn't really care for the battle and hardships brought by Being a samurai.


Truthfully, he is scared of it, the news of his fathers death coming shortly before his invitation/recruitment message came in.


He wouldn't let anyone know of his fears of course, as it would shame his family and ruin his grandfathers and fathers legacy he is expected to carry on. A sad truth.


Personality


Raised by his mother in a noble high-class household , Onia was somewhat sheltered, hearing only of the struggles of the outside world by his fathers infrequent visits. He is only used to communicating with servants on a regular basis. his leaves him little room for empathy about other peoples problems and a sense of scale about those problems.


Making him seem elitist or even snobbish.


Despite that. He is devoted too whatever calls on his honor, despite personal feelings such as the fear of becoming a samurai. And is rigid in decisions, in a stubborn sort of way. Also due to the way he was raised.


He is a rather..Cleanly person. Or so he believes. In truth, despite him hating messes he happens to. Out of no fault of his own, be a slightly messy person himself. But rest assured when he realizes this he'll clean up quite quickly.


Despite the elitist attitude, he possesses a strong naivety due to being sheltered and not knowing alot about commoner and non...Spoiled. Business, And as stated earlier. Is truthfully quite a fearful person, which stems from a strong unnatural fear of being alone.


This is a fear so strong. That he had to have a servant instructed to sleep in the same room as him, as he could not bear to do more than cry and shake violently when left alone at night. He has come a bit farther then that, and can stand to be alone for short periods of time. But it is explainable what brought on this terrible phobia.

There's not much to say that hasn't been said earlier in this description. he was born into a family of Samurai and nobility, his father and grandfather samurai, And his mother a far off descendant of one of the many royal families. He was raised a a a bit of an elitist and has no siblings.

Sin, being half Yokai possesses eye's that resemble that of blood as well as fang like teeth which often alienates those around him.

His weapon of choice is a lunar spear, though he is also skilled with his Katana, both weapons being heirlooms of his family.

Personality:


Sin is a brave and kindhearted young man, though his quick temper and brash thinking can mask theses traits.


Bio:


Since he was able to stand on his own two feet he was trained in preparation to become a samurai, the product of a relationship between a Yokai male and a Noble woman, Sin's grandfather sought to use his Grandsons impressive abilities to not only gain renown within the lands but to also put an end to the demonic threat. (more about his life will be revealed in roleplay)

Personality: He is very calm. He is adventurous, he believes that he is a trail blazer in discovering new techniques, He is always optimistic, never believing in the negatives. Even if the situation seems hopeless. Even though events changed him, like adding a new anger problem. He is a believer in honor, always. Even if he is ahead.


Bio: Logan was raised on the samurai legends. That they were the guardians of law, putting an end to all the chaos in the land. He grabbed a stick at age 2 and started swinging it around, unknowingly that his father was a retired samurai. He taught Logan everything he knew. And by age 16, he was able to duel and keep up with his father. Even developing new techniques. One day demons came upon their village, and they held them off together. But in the process, his father died. Logan stricken with grief went into exile for a year. Meditating on what he should do. He learned that brute force is not the way a lot of times. Be like the wind, swift and quick and precise. He came back to the village and took his birthright, his father's sword and walked. He walked to the capital ready to take the rite, and ready to learn more to avenge his father's death and defend his homeland. No matter the cost.

Personality:


Aaron is a boy who walks with his head in the clouds. Because of that people usually think he's odd. But when you get to know the real him you see that he's a nice boy who would do anything for his friends and family. He likes to meet new people and be around people but he also likes to be alone. But he doesn't know how to tell people when he wants to be alone. Even tough he likes to meet new people he won't ever start a conversation himself. Sometimes he zones out and when he does he doesn't hear anything other than his own thoughts. He likes to help people it makes him feel like he's worth something, that's the main reason why he wants to become a samurai. He lives by the rule his mother taught him when he was younger, live by the law and don't cause any chaos.


Bio:


He had a normal childhood but his sister was kind of over protective so because of that he feels the need of taking stupid risks and doing dangerous thing. That's one of the reasons why he wants to become a samurai, so he can prove to his sister that he isn't helpless.
