Horror has always been a favourite genre of mine and since Halloween is coming up I decided to try and start up some grim rps. If you see something you like or have another idea you'd like to try feel free to reply here or PM me ^.^ I'm also more than open to mixing horror with romance, fantasy etc.
Haunted House
A little cliche but still a classic. I have two versions for this.
Firstly Character 1 inherits a house from their estranged grandparent after death, naturally there's an appeal because it would mean living mortgage free for life. However strange things begin to happen and after only a few weeks of living there is becomes impossible to sleep, there are always creaking floorboards and whispers that begin to eat away at Character 1. They try to call friends for help but this only results in the death of each friend. One. By. One.
For this the second writer would be more of a background cast (I'm more than happy to fill this role)
The other version includes the same start but Character 1 has a mission to discover how the apparition haunting them died in the hopes that it might save them and cause the nightmare to end. This is where Character 2 comes in.
This version focuses more on the psychological aspect as Character 2 would be slowly revealing why they can never move on.
Obsessive Love
Character 1 at first seems to be living a normal life, but in truth they are being stalked without even knowing it. Their 'secret admirer' is constantly removing anyone they see as a threat to the love life they have imagined themselves having. It's basically a typical yandere/stalker situation. The idea being there is a high body count and a lot of psychological trauma.
Imaginary Friend
Alone in the house most of the time Character 1 decides to befriend Character 2, no one else can see Character 2 and though they start out very kind and benevolent they soon start to show that they have a darker purpose. No one believes Character 1 when they first reach out for help after discovering that what was once a simple game has now turned into a nightmare.
Less Developed Plots
Typical slasher plot with a killer stalking the other character

Five Nights at Freddy's, I know it's kinda old but I still like it
A murderer couple
IT - I would love to have an rp with my character as one of the victims
