Hey guys, Pop here. Welcome to what is going to be another exciting new roleplay! I won't keep you for long, but as always I want to make a few pre-application points. First of all, read the rules before you go any further. Believe me, if you don't, I'll know and it'll just be embarrassing for us both. Biography:


"In a word? Twitchy."


Marcus grew up in a fairly average home. He was the middle child, and not much was expected of him. He was completely okay with this, as it let him do virtually anything he wanted to. At least, until he was about ten, and he developed a hand tremor. The condition has plagued him ever since, and his hands are rarely, if ever, steady. His dreams of playing an instrument were crushed when he realized he couldn't control his fingers well enough to strum a guitar or handle a keyboard. Eventually, he gave up on music entirely, and turned to computers and video games to keep himself entertained.


He became more and more socially isolated as the years went on, and was frequently harassed or ignored by his classmates for his poor coordination. He lost all confidence in himself and his value, and endured a year of skirting the edge of depression. Right before giving up on himself, he made a successful turn-around and decided he needed to become involved in something, although he didn't know what.


Eventually, he became involved in the Tech Crew for a local theatre, where he learned the technical know-how of operating a soundboard and lighting cues, as well as preparing a stage. He became quite handy (although still pretty uncoordinated) with Stage Tech. Upon hearing a few people at his school were forming a band, he quickly approached and offered them his skills.

Aaron was always the smart kid in the beginning, always a try hard and never slacked. He mostly cared about his school work, and payed no attention to things like social life. What a weirdo, right? Well, it started to change once he got involved in the current band. He realized what he had been missing those years, as he had always felt empty. A sense of fulfillment came when he realized there's more to life than numbers, and grades don't define your intelligence. And soon he started slacking.


Eventually, he took up the role as the band's keyboardist, something he was unfamiliar with. Of course he wasn't going to go and pay to get lessons, so it was a half Youtube tutorial, half self-taught deal, which he ended up being extremely happy about. Aaron always looked forward to practices and being with the members of No Filter, but sometimes he felt he got too enthusiastic. Maybe no one took it as seriously and loved it as much as him. Well whatever the reason, he sort of began to feel sad about the whole ordeal. Would the band drop him? Would they just get irritated about his constant "Happy-go-lucky" attitude? Aaron lives in constant fear of them kicking him out, and he felt more intimidated that he hadn't always lived his life like a punk rocker. He used to be the nerd. So he began to cover up his enthusiasm about everything, and decided to chill out for a while. Why not? The band is getting somewhere, so why ruin their chances by being a totally annoying freak?

Kat lived in foster homes until she was 16, always obsessed with make-up and clothes. She went through several phases, including sporty, girly, goth, girly again, and finally she found her own sort of edgy, vintage style. When she was 16, she moved in with her boyfriend, Shane, and helped pay his rent by modeling on the side. She became successful, but the bruises on her face and arms and multiple injuries slowed her career. Kat stopped modeling and moved out of Shane's apartment when she was 18, getting her own place. She broke up with him a few days later, finally feeling independent and brave enough to end the mildly abusive relationship. Soon after, she found her calling as a few close friends decided to travel as a band. Kat just really wanted to get out of town for a little bit and decided to volunteer to help them with their appearances on and off the stage.

Rorrie was born on April 12th to a wealth couple, Jillian and Mark Webster. For all of her life


she never felt like she fit in. The way that her parents lived never suited her. Her mother wanted


to shower her in extravagant presents and expensive designer clothing. Rorrie didn't want any


of that, she just wanted to dye her hair, make a mess and get in trouble. And that's exactly what


she did. In high school she would constantly be skipping classes and getting into trouble. Whether

When No Filter was created she was ecstatic. Hanging out with that group of kids was the best

Keith, as part of a surprisingly extensive family, has lived his life with freedom and partially justified


negligence on his parent’s behalf. Thriving on dysfunction, he was admittedly attention seeking


as a child. Fortunately, he didn’t have much to live up to, with two of his brothers already serving


time and a younger one gone awol before he’d reached the tenth grade. If he wasn’t working a job,


he was busy taking care of his younger siblings, hardly leaving any time to become or practice in


anything extraordinary. At the time, life managed to be both stressful and dull simultaneously. Figures.


However, fiddling with his recently deceased uncle’s archaic bass guitars began to pay off when


he joined No Filter, a medium for both self-expression and a way to gain some attention for himself.


Things were looking up. However, for his girlfriend at the time, it was a steady decline. She’d been


struggling with mental illness since a young age, and recent turns in her life meant she threw caution


to the wind and began abusing drugs heavily, and despite his efforts; there wasn’t much he could do


but watch her crumble and dissipate before his eyes. With them broken up, and her in rehab, Keith


tends to be more wary of drugs, alcohol, and won’t hesitate offering to be the designated driver


for events and shows. Additionally, he tries his best to put out fires within the group, although his


attempts rarely bear fruit.
