PLOT
In a world full of magic and monsters there arises people known as mages. Some are freelanced and others join up with organazations called guilds. Those wanting to use their magic for good and a quick buck join these organizations, forming life-long friendships (most of the time). They take on quests and help out those who submit requests, doing anything from picking weeds to defeating massive monsters. Then there are those who want to use their magic for evil. They can join dark guilds, and sit outside the law and cause trouble and chaos. This thread will center around one guild, that stands out for its valour, togetherness and core beliefs, its name; Fairy Tail.
BACKGROUND INFO
There are three different types of Guilds: Legal, Dark, and Independent. A Legal Guild is one that has been approved and registered by the Magic Council. A Dark Guild is one that has not been approved by the Magic Council and is treated as a criminal organization.[1] An Independent Guild is one that is not approved by the Magic Council, but at the same time is not considered a criminal organization. Very little has been shown about Independent Guilds, though it appears that they can do anything they please as long as the Magic Council doesn't disapprove of the actions. Aside from Magic Guilds, there are variety of other guilds, such as merchant, mercenary, treasure hunter, and even bandit guilds. In general, guilds are formed for individuals to take Jobs and earn Jewels. Legal Guilds also work to defend against Dark Mages and other criminals; Independent guilds likewise fight illicit guilds.
The main power in the Kingdom of Fiore is the King and his Government. Under his order is the Magic Council, which enforces rules over the guilds to uphold lawful employment of Mages and the enforcement of appropriate conduct. When Guilds cause destruction or other disturbances to the peace, it is the responsibility of the Magic Council to reprimand them. The Council is made up of very powerful Mages, some of whom have the power to legalize or disband Guilds. Legal Guilds are those guilds which are recognised by the Magic Council and most have strong connections to multiple other legal guilds. Guild Masters form a body called the Local Guild Master League and they meet for various purposes. There is currently more than one league in Fiore.
The hierarchy within Guilds typically has three tiers, that divide into letter categories. The Guild Master is the single most influential mage within the Guild. Under the Master are the S-Rank Mages, who have authority to undertake S-Rank jobs. Mages are the common rank, and are not allowed to accept S-Rank jobs without an S-Rank Mage with them. There are usually many teams formed within guilds; these teams are composed of various members of their Guild and can vary in strength. A team is a small clique of members within a guild who frequently undertake the same jobs together.
ROLES
D class 4/6 - weakest level, typically new to guild and inexperienced
C class 2/6 - have been there for a few months and have done some quests, or have stronger magic/combat abilities
B class 1/6 - decently strong, have versatile or powerful magic. Good with combat and powerful. Have either been there for a while or just naturally gifted.
A class 5/5 - pretty strong, much better than most people. Can take on difficult jobs and are quite powerful. Knowledgeable and experienced with helpful magic or very developed combat skills.
S class 1/3 - strongest level, incredibly strong. Can do the most difficult jobs that few can accomplish.

CHARACTER CREATION RULES
★ No more than three characters per person
★ only one person per magic type
★ original magic is allowed but we encourage you to look first among the wide array of canon magic
★ if you choose to make you're own, we will veto it if its too strong
★ no original dragon slayer magic
★ dragon slayer slots are first come first serve
★ only 1 dragon slayer per person
★ no canon characters exist in this universe
★ no lost magic
★ age range is 18+
★ make sure they have a weakness
★ if you have two characters and one is an A class or higher, the other must be D
★ one S slot character per person (permitting the slots)
★ we may ask you to tone down the power if the canon magic is too op for the thread, example in the show and according to the official wiki the poison dragon slayer magic is deadly but for the thread I changed it so it weakens instead of instantly kills, or kills over time
★ in your backstory please include why they are a fairy tail member

★ Until your character sheet has been completed and approved your spot is not guaranteed. Just because you are in the discord also doesn't mean anything, discord just aids in the character creating process and getting familiar with the thread concept. If Sugar and I don't feel you are a proper fit for this thread we reserve the right to reject your character sheet/turn you away from the thread.
