[Magical Glider]

"I'm trying....'' I scoff and looks away from him. "Stupi-uh..." I heard Lyra going down the stairs and I lay back on the couch being really quiet.





"Ali... are you feeling better?" I sigh with relief as she nodded her head. "Well... Viktor is upstairs in my office... do you want to say hi? Maybe he'll remember-"


"No thanks.. can I go now? I'm wasting my time here.. besides you owe me 4 silvers.." I kept my arms crossed and stares at her, wanting to get paid.

 

[Neshimo]

"Dinners almost ready..." A long yawn, he's obviously worn out from all of this, he'd done chores, but not so extensive as this. Never as extensive as this, in a place this big ever. She'd probably be giving him more work tomorrow, he almost wants ot come here first thing instead of to the mayors house just to get it over with. Though his boss would be sad, or most likely angry with him, & give that strange green eye'd stare again.

 

[Magical Glider]

"oh.. yes.. right.. you can go if you really want to." I picked out 4 silver coins that was in my pocket and gives it to Alison. "you still planning on going to Blake tomorrow right? because he's one of our top customer. If you don't show up, he will be very angry..." I warned her.


"yea.. yea.. whatever..its at like at noon.. I wont be late.." I played with the coins and stands up. "well... I better be off.." I looked at Kai. "see you later!" I waved at him.

 

[Neshimo]

"B-bye..." He'd slumped down too the oven, eyes drifting away. No energy too wave back though, he gives a smile instead, before his eyes close off. "N-No...wait...let...take this out first." Wobbling up, he goes too get oven mitts in order to take out the main dish for dinner tonight. "A-and..then...I..."

 

[Magical Glider]

I notice that Kai was running low on energy and then I realize that maybe I'm making him work too much. I walk over to him and places my hand on his back. "It's okay. I can take it from here. you can go and get some rest." I gave him a friendly smile.

 

[Neshimo]

"....Alright." Though instead of following both orders, he mostly follows the first, passing out, hitting the metal bar of the oven before laying out on the floor, seemingly unphased by the hit. It'd made no difference too the peacefl look on his face while sleeping on the kitchen floor, as it didn't make a difference of the heat the oven emits either, in fact making him cuddle closer to it for warmth.

I smirk and giggles slightly. oh god... I really need to give him less work tomorrow... "I told you to go home first..." I poked him with my foot wanting him to get up. "seriously... I have a guest and I cant have you just laying randomly on the kitchen floor..."

 

[Neshimo]

"Mmmmm~" His only remark, as a way of saying 'I'm not moving ever from this spot until I'm rested' He'd been too focused on the work getting done rather than his own health as usual, not wishing too make any sort of movement except to turn away from where she'd poked him.

 

[Magical Glider]

"Kai. Seriously. At least rest in my guest room.." I continue to poke him with my foot until he stands up from the kitchen floor. "Hurry up.. You are like the worst butler ever..." I groan and takes out the food that was in the oven.

 

[Neshimo]

"Mmmmmmm...." He face gets a small bit agitated, & he grabs onto her leg, pulling it towards his chest in order too keep her from doing anymore. "Mmmmm~"

 

[Magical Glider]

"... That's it.." I took a water bottle from the fridge and pours it on kai's head. "You're fired. mainly because this is really annoying and I don't want this to happen again.. so get out.."

 

[Neshimo]

"Bah, Bah..." His eyes open slightly, releasing her leg, yawning still. "Why are you abusing me...? That's no way to treat a..." A yawn again as he begins drifting off again. "A kid..."

 

[Magical Glider]

"I swear.. Viktor is going to be down here in like 10 minutes. You are fired. Stop sleeping!" I kneel down and flicked his forehead. "Wake up now. I have no time for this nonsense."

 

[Neshimo]

"More abuse..." He somewhat stammering, takes out the pen borrowed from Allison, then begins to go out. "FINE! I'll draw 'em a picture..." Hhe says, putting on the gloves, then taking out a beautifully cooked lasagna. "There...lemme sleep now...." He says placing it down on the kitchen tops.

 

[Magical Glider]

"You are one strange kid... just leave or sleep in the guest room..." I pointed to the direction of the guest room. "You are fired.. if you ddnt hear that for the last few times!"

 

[Neshimo]

"Hmm, yay..." He raises his hand up, all the way heading towards the guest room. "Don't make too much moaning sounds ya hear, I'm still innocent mindededed~" He covers his mouth before laughing off to the guest room, not even making it to the bed, sleeping on the floor.

TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY





I headed to the mayors house once again to my daily routine of panicking and worrying. I knock on the myor's house door and I look down at my bag fulled with art supplies for Elizabeth, just in case she wants to draw or paint later. I begin to think about Kai and I started blushing as I think of him. I hope he comes in today...

 

[Neshimo]

Kai, woken up from an amazing night off the carpet floor, just now starting to take in the detail of the room. In all honest, if he'd made it too the bed last night, his sleep would have been so much calmer, feeling the comfort of the sheet too the linen, all the way down to what seems like memory foam. It would be surreal, if not for the sleep painting he did, the rooms walls & ceiling covered in blackened abstract art, what he's most famous for. It'd been a while since the urge too sleep while painting came, so it must have been strong too make all of this happen. "Meh, I'm fired anyways..." Still, all the same, he'd gotten up then after not much preparation, not knowing where anything is, & a distinct smell of the same scent Allison comes home with at times, he'd made it over too the mayors house before Aria did. He'd actually gotten up pretty early in the morning, though the guards let him in all the same, the mayor wishing too have a private discussion with him.


It mostly included his beloved daughter, how he'd wished for her to achieve a great feat before his departure is over, also giving hints at Naota being a suitor for his daughter. Kaisen not knowing about the culture here, & life expectancy, didn't get why he'd choose so young, too someone like him, & all a painter. "Dear boy, you don't have to be royalty, though I'd appreciated it if you were, yet your talent makes you more than capable enough than any of the suitors that have come after her now." He'd give off his hardy laugh again, then sent Kai up to his daughter room, where she lay sleeping. Still he had too do something, so for now he'd lay on her bed, Elizabeth easily taking over his lap, placing her head into it, while she sleeps blissfully, seemingly even more so now that he's here.

The maids finally opened the doors for me, letting me in. I followed the maid into the kitchen, knowing that Elizabeth is still asleep. I started to prepare breakfast for Elizabeth since she loves my cooking better than what the maids offers her. I yawn, tired from sleeping late last night because of a stupid project I had to do. My long blonde hair was getting into my face while I was baking muffins for Elizabeth. I groan and tied my hair into a pony tail. I told the maids to watch the muffins that was baking in the oven and I walked into the mayor's office to ask him a question. I nervously walk to the office and knocks on his door. My heart was beating rapidly because I barely even talk to the mayor. I bit my lip and played with my hair, while I wait for him. I looked at my watch, knowing that I have to wake Elizabeth up in a few minutes.

 

[Neshimo]

She'd been coddling his lap for so long, with him softly petting her hair, that he'd gotten into a groove, so much that the'd slowly begin braiding her hair, placing small bows made of hair inbetween them. He hadn't really moved much, nor did it seem uncomfortable. The guard came in every once in a while to check up on them, as they'd stay a bit longer each time, seeing more & more hair being done, then stare at each other for a while, then go back too standing post.

 

[Magical Glider]

"erm... hello?" I knocked on the door again and I heard him talking about some sort of business problem. I sigh, guessing that he couldn't hear me since he was talking to someone on the phone. Slowly, I headed to Elizabeth's room. The guards smiled at me as they always do. I gave them a small smile back, without saying a would. I opened the door and sees Kai braiding Elizabeth's hair. My cheeks started to burn and I look away in embarrassment. "Morning..." I whispered to him and slowly walk towards them and puts my hand on Elizabeth's shoulder. "Sweetie.. It's time for you to wake up.. "

 

[Neshimo]

"Mmm~" A small shake of her head, trying to press herself deeper into the comfort of his lap, Elizabeth almost feeling this as safer than the outside. "Just give her a few more minutes, me as well, this is fun." A whisper while again, she only moves slightly closer too Kai this time, wanting to ignore the shake. Even with the smell of her favorite breakfast on the horizon of her nostrils, she still wishes to stay this way. "I may have disturbed her sleep a bit, she'll be fine with a few more minutes."

 

[Magical Glider]

"b-b-but... she has to... her... tutor is coming in a half..hour.." I had being late for things and I really didn't want to make things difficult. I shook Elizabeth one more time. "P-Please wake up.." I glance at my watch and took a deep breath to calm myself. "Kai.. you aren't even suppose to be here at this time.. you are suppose to be here after her tutor.. which will be in about two hours.."

 

[Neshimo]

"Hmm, I found myself getting fired on the first day from a job that didn't suit me in the slightest. So, I figured might as well come early, plus her father had too speak with me about something, so it wasn't all bad." Finished braiding, he gives a sad smile, while letting his hands hang back. "First Allison doesn't want me here, then Lyra, & now you. Guess I really am supposed to be a loner in this world..." A small cut in his next sentence, as Elizabeth finally gives up too the shaking assault being done upon her, slowly gets up too stretch, in a cross cross position with her legs. "Morning..."

oh no... I-I hurt his feelings.. Why do I have to be so dumb.. I shouldn't have said a thing... My eyes starts to water and I quickly look down. I always been very sensitive and cared too much about others but right now, I was being really hard on myself. I took out my pony tail and let my hair fall loose, covering most of my face. "S-S-S-Sorry.. I-I just meant that... that.. you're just really .... r-really early... sorry.. I-I didn't mean it that w-w-way..." Please don't cry in front of both Kai and Elizabeth! Stop it! NOW! I kept my head down and I headed towards the door. "M-Morning Elizabeth.. Muffins a-are down stair.. I-I'm going outside for a few minutes..."
