Holo & Narumi

Narumi

Five Thousand Club
Melody was a seventeen year old girl. She had lightly pale skin and beautiful brown hair which reached to her shoulders and had a light tint at the ends. She was beautiful that was sure. She had been homeschooled all of her life until her parents finally earnt her trust and would let her attend a normal school to see how she coped, considering she didn't have any friends except fellow neighbours. She wasn't a normal girl.... She was special.

She took a deep breath as she pushes open the classroom door she was told to go to got her first lesson. (@Holo)

Anthony smiled from the seat at the back of the class since he absolutely loved to see new students. He was smaller than most but faster and stronger than they were. He had black hair and slightly tan skin that paled to a white color during the winter but darkened to a tan color during the summer.

Melody took a seat near the very back and then quickly sunk into her chair. She kept her head down as she looked at her desk and tried to focus on all of the graffiti covering it rather then talking to anyone. She was incredibly shy.

Anthony smiled and leaned over just a little. "Hello I'm Anthony, what's your name?" He asked starting to take a liking to the shy girl already.

Melody looks over to him and blushes, turning back to her desk. "Uh... M-Melody" She stumbles with a nod and then turns away, she was always bad at starting conversations.

Anthony laughed a little as she seemed uncomfortable with talking. "Just relax everybody here is nice. Well except Britney but she's all bark and no bite so it's fine."

Melody nods vaguely. She say through her first boring lesson, managing to dodge being asked any questions by their teacher. When the class ended she began to start collecting her things and tried to head out to class, though she was knocked over by a group of girls, she stumbled back and fell to the floor, her things spilling all about.

Anthony sat through the class and answered a lot of questions. After class he was the slowest one packing up and noticed Melody bump into the group. He walked over with his bag on his back and ignored the group. He put his hand out for her to get up with his help. "Some people just don't know where they should gossip uselessly with friends." He remarked trying to incite an arguement since he was pretty quick with comebacks.

Melody hesitates and just stood up by herself. She stumbles lightly, but manages to gather her things. She hugs her books to her chest and then quickly wanders out of the classroom, not seeming to mind that the others were laughing at her.

Anthony sighed and scowled at the group and then walks by. "Stupid snobs." He continued well past them heading to his next class.

Melody was glad when the lunch hour dawned. She lined up with the rest of the kids and payed for her food, then took a seat at a table, sitting around with a fee people of whom she didn't know.

Anthony sat next to Melody hoping she'd actually be friends with him instead of ignoring him more. "Hey there." He said smiling a little.

"You alright?" Anthony asked looking concerned and he smiled. He sat there and started eating slowly waiting to hear a lot.

Melody nods gently and looks up at him, smiling gently. She began to eat as well. She had at least one friend. She should be grateful.

"Good I'm glad you aren't letting those jerks from earlier get to you." Anthony said smiling at her before he slid over a second pudding cup he'd bought. "In case anything here starts bugging you. It tends to make me feel more relaxed."

Melody nods her head softly and then finishes up with her food. She nods at him and then began to throw away her cartons, heading out of the cafeteria.

Anthony smiled at her and followed since he had the same classes. (Coincidence? I think not lol!) Anthony kept waiting for her to say something and began wondering if she was mute.

(Haha. Hmm.... A coincidence indeed xD )

Melody heard the bell go and then went yo her next class, sitting in the back and hiding. She began to read a book, covering it over her face.

Anthony very quietly and gently sat on her desk deciding that he wanted to hear her say something regardless of the consequences.

Melody moves her books away and frowns as she watches him. Forcing her to speak to him was the wrong way yo do it. Didn't he have other friends to talk to? She didn't understand what all the hype was about her.

"you don't speak very much do you?" Anthony said clearly disappointed before moving to the desk next to her. He had no friends but had plenty of people he knew. He wasn't one for hanging out often and tended to enjoy watching fish and stuff in rivers and being alone. He was like this every time they got a new student though because he wanted to make sure that everybody knew he didn't play favorites and that he'd help anybody who asked. "All well if I'm just bugging you for no reason I guess I'll shut up."

Melody looks up at him and shook her head lightly. "No, it's okay" She says quietly to him with a nod, "We can be friends if you really want to" She added with a weak smile. She wasn't just here for education and learning, she was also there to meet new friends and have a bit of fun.

"Yeah that'd be really nice." Anthony said with a smile before going back to getting ready for class.

Melody smiles. At the end of the lesson as she was walking past a group of boys, they stopped her and stood in her way, they began flirting with her, touching her hair and such and calling her sweet names.
