  Personality: Despite the fact that Sebastian does struggle with depression, you wouldn't guess it from not being close with him. Even if he doesn't always have a smile on his face, he is always as friendly as can be, even if sometimes he seems a little tired. He's a massive softie; he feels things really deeply and he cares about people deeply, too. He's a sweetheart to the core and would do absolutely anything for those he cares about, and would easily sacrifice himself for the benefit of another. As friendly as he is, it's a quiet friendliness. He keeps to himself mostly, and in a group situation it's hard to even tell that he's there. He's more comfortable interacting with one person at a time than with a lot of people.
  
  When he does have a depressive episode, Seb is just really exhausted. He doesn't leave his house, or his bed really, and doesn't talk to anyone on the phone or even in person much. He can get in a really self-hating headspace. He tries to just wait the episodes out because he would absolutely hate to bother anyone else with problems that, as far as he's concerned, are just in his head.

  Sebastian was born to a two loving parents, and he has an older sister. His family was middle-class, and he lived an average, white-picket-fence life until he was 12. His mother lost a long battle with cancer, and his family was left heartbroken. It was only him, his father, and Seb's older sister. His older sister left to study abroad when she was 21 and Seb was 15, unable to stay in the place that reminded her of her mother. Seb himself got worse every day, finding himself enjoying his hobbies less and less than he used to. He used to love sport - particularly running, but even that felt like a chore now.
  
  His sister leaving only worsened Seb's condition. His father became protective and tried to encourage Seb to do the things he used to enjoy, but Seb couldn't find any energy for it. He started having dangerous thoughts, and he found himself starting to really dislike himself, seemingly for no reason. He refused to understand why he was alive when his mother was dead. When Seb was 16, his father bought him a piano, desperate to get Seb to feel better and find something to enjoy. Surprisingly, Seb found that he actually really loved the piano. His father was all too happy to pay for lessons and Seb learned incredibly quickly.
  
  Seb discovered he could actually sing, as well, and used YouTube to hone both his piano and singing skills until he didn't need it or lessons anymore. He didn't really have friends at his old school anymore, after essentially pushing everybody away, so after finding Hollywood Arts, his father was happy to pay for him to attend. He is not famous at all but he was able to get in on talent. He still suffers from depression and has often contemplated suicide, but he hasn't been diagnosed and neither he nor his father have really realised the extent of his issues. In all honesty, Seb knows nothing about depression and just thinks he's crazy and messed up. However, he uses music to try and get rid of some of those thoughts and that energy, and he's taking everything one day at a time.

  Insomniac Callum both appears and acts very disinterested and lethargic, often because he is. He is fairly soft-spoken and doesn't really go out of his way to make himself heard. He keeps to himself not out of shyness but a general apathy to talk to other people. He can be slightly irritable and pessimistic when he gets even less sleep than he normally gets, which is admittedly not a lot. But that is usually pretty clear upon first glance due to his permanent dark circles and sunken facial features. He has often been compared to a zombie in both looks and mannerisms due to his inclination to laze about and reply to others with soft grunts rather than whole sentences. He doesn't have to try to seem unapproachable; even with his eyes open, he appears asleep. It doesn't bother him that he doesn't have very many friends, but he does secretly enjoy the company of others, especially in silence. As independent as he is, he gets overly-flattered when others approach him or acknowledge his presence, however small it may be. He only displays any energy when he dances and, even then, he has problems with looking "alive". His movements flow just fine, but his face tends to be neutral or tired-looking even while he's performing, much to the annoyance of his dance partners and instructors.

  Callum spent much of his childhood with a rather unstable home life as the only child of two emotionally absent parents who would often let strangers in and out of the house to deal drugs. His parents were wrapped up in a multitude of shady dealings, which eventually lead to their incarcerations. He was placed in the care of his maternal grandparents at the age of seven, offering him a more stable home.
  
  Callum's grandparents signed him up for dance lessons as a healthy hobby, which he instantly took a liking to. It brought him a lot of happiness and distraction from the chaotic transition in his life, which, even as a little kid, had a lasting toll on him. Being away from his parents didn't hurt nearly as much as their weak attempts to stay in contact with him, writing to him maybe once or twice every couple of years. Even at a young age, he had convinced himself that he was never wanted in the first place, even when he was in their custody.
  
  As he got older, he came to understand through his grandparents what a loving home was. He forged an extremely tight bond with them and feels as though he owes them everything, whether it be encouraging his passions for dance or paying his eccentric, yet delightful therapist. All the way from his home in Virginia, he heard word of a reputable performing arts school opening in L.A. With an extremely large amount of pleading and promises to work off his tuition as soon as he could, Callum convinced his grandparents to allow him to apply for Hollywood Arts. Bubbly, is the best way to describe Lake at face value. He is a ball full of energy that’s just waiting to pour over at any moment in time. Seriously, it’s almost as if the energy that comes with childhood never left Lake despite his growing age. His mind moves at a mile a minute, constantly thinking of new things and ideas that he always thinks will be a good plan or a great plan. Even if those ideas get him in trouble. Because of how active he is, it’s lucky that he found a passion for dancing, most of his energy placed in the rhythm of movements. He is free-spirited and loving, always trying to get everyone in a happy mood no matter what it takes. If people are happy, Lake is ecstatic, ready to do flips down the hallway. He’s also rather creative, coming up with many different solutions to problems that arise, albeit his solutions can be rather complicated sometimes, or just straight up stupidly incorrect.

This joy though gets Lake into a lot of trouble. He is extremely gullible, practically believing any words that anyone tells him until he is given a reason or information that will change that. He can also be overbearing, overwhelming a conversation, or oversharing his hyperfixations. He’s also rather messy, mostly he blames it on being forgetful or just packing his schedule so full with entertainment and work that he clearly just doesn’t have time. This can make him seem unreliable which is partially true. If given a schedule, Lake will be on time, but the minute he’s left to do work on his own is the moment he will procrastinate to impressive levels. History :
Lake Samuel Davis was born to Broadway dancer Henry Davis and professional burlesque artist Elizabeth Lorelai in the year 2003, just at the time both were still but a flirting couple dating. Lake came as a surprise to both people, but after long conversations and much back and forth over what each wanted in the relationship, they decided to stay together for Lake. It wasn’t however until he was three years old did Henry and Eliza actually get married to one another. Doing their best to keep their relationship on the down-low. Even to this day, most people don’t realize or don’t care that the two are together as both of their professions require a lot of that privacy. The only difference for them truly was Eliza permanently moving to New York with Henry. The family lived in a flat in Manhattan, luckily their fame able to keep up with the bills they had to pay. Sure it was a rough start, neither being able to make much time to be in their child’s life, but they did their best. Even if they both were well aware that Lake preferred the nanny that watched over them for most of their childhood.

It was only natural that dance came to be a part of Lake’s life, it was pure luck for his parents that he happened to fall in love with it and find it just as rewarding as his parents did. He had a personal trainer starting from the age of eight, drilling him in all forms of dance until they found one that fit Lake the most. Although they were passionate about dancing as a whole, they mainly focused on tap, lyrical/contemporary, and ballroom. Ballroom is a choice he made purely for his mother at the time. She wanted someone she could take to the small galas that she’d perform at and bring Lake to swing night with her and Henry. To keep his family on the down low, Lake was homeschooled by a tutor along with his personal trainer. He didn’t leave the flat much if at all, only going to rehearsals of his parents or shopping trips with his nanny. Still, it was a life he was grateful for, and whenever he did go out, he would easily win people over with his beaming smile.

It was at the age of thirteen when Lake began transitioning. Having realized he was a boy not long before then, but too nervous to confront his parents about it. They were more than just accepting, going lengths to find the best doctors, money, not a waste to make their son happy. Lake was thankful, and although it did change their style in their dance, having to relearn choreography and jokingly becoming the base in lifts, they finally felt like themself. Now fully who they were, their next step in their life was their profession. Hearing of Hollywood Arts, Lake’s parents agreed there was no other option better for their son. They did everything they could to arrange for Lake to go there and when all was said and done, they sent Lake on a plane to live in an apartment they rented for him near the school.

From then on, he’s done everything he can to be at the top of his class, partaking in activities like cheer and other similar sports, streaming games on the side on twitch and just downright enjoying the freedom he has away from what he now considers the stuffy life of his flat in New York.   Riobhan was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Amira Hoffberg and Daniel Walter Anderson, after a very messy situation happened. Originally from Tel Aviv, but a Venice, Cali, resident since her young age, Rio doesn't remember much from her home country. Moving to America at the age of one, no memories were created in the other country. Her parents were never married, though her father had "intended" to marry her mother when he came back home. But one encounter without protection left her mother alone, while he bailed and never answered her calls. In fact, it is for that precise reason her mother decided to uproot their lives. She remembered talking with him about his parents, and started tracking them down.
  
  While baby Riobhan was left with the neighbours, her mother went on an endless quest to find him, which resulted in her finding out she was the overseas conquest. From the age of 2 on out, he was present in her life, although his wife and other children were very distant and cold towards her. This arrangement didn't last long, since at the age of 5, Riobhan's mother was arrested for breaking and entering a man's home, and the intent of murder. Since then, she's been living in the ever increasing tension of her father's home. She was never close to that family, often referring to them as her foster home to people at school. She didn't want to be related to them.
  
  Rio was a child model ever since she moved to California, her mom barely working minimum wage and relying on the profits she racked in. She was always a pretty child, and it payed off in the end. She had an interest in singing, but never took in farther than that. Modelling, fashion and makeup was her life since she was young. Since living with her father, she hadn't stopped working, and in her early teens, got even more hours and offers to be able to leave her home at the age of 18. Riobhan's parents were never happy with the fact she never contributed to bills and rent, but her father didn't care enough to stop her from working all together.
  
  During her first year of high school, her manager tipped her in about a school who took people from all over the world to study for hollywood-esque careers, and she hasn't looked back since the application.

  On April 20, 2003, at 9:05 pm (HST), Michael Kaiser Reid was born to Alaina Reid in Wahiawa, Hawaii, a fifty-minute drive from Alaina home in Makaha. A single woman, daughter of a single mother herself, Alaina was just twenty years old. Her mother, Jillian "Jilly" Reid, had fallen ill with pancreatic cancer just two months ago, yielding her unable to work and leaving her to depend on Alaina for her housing and feeding. Alaina had picked up a second job to help care for her mother, but even this was proving to not be enough.
  
  And now, here Mike was; he was another mouth to feed-- one who needed constant attention-- and the bill from his birth was crushing, what with Alaina's lack of insurance.
  
  Needless to say, Alaina was wholly unprepared for the child. He had caused her to pick up another job. Now, she worked three jobs, which kept her occupied nearly all around the clock. She had to resort to leaving her child with her mother, relying on the ill woman to care for her son when she could hardly even raise herself up to eat.
  
  It was hardly a year and a half before Jilly fell victim to her cancer, and Alaina ended up having to take out a loan to fund the funeral.
  
  More weight upon Alaina's frail shoulders.
  
  She did her best, at first, but it was too much to bear alone. Between the debt that she had incurred from the two years of community college that she'd taken fresh out of high school, the hospital bills from both the treatment of her mother and the birth of her son, the funeral costs, the cost of living, the general danger of Makaha, the stress of a newborn child...it was too much. She crumbled. As an escape, Alaina's fingers found the necks of liquor bottles, pipes of crack, and boxes of cigarettes, and her legs wrapped around the waists of strange men, at first as an escape, and then just for a little extra to get that escape. Caring for her son took the back-burner; surviving was the most important thing.
  
  Without her mother there to care for her son, Alaina struggled to care for her toddler. When she could, she would bring him into work and rest him on her hip, but few times would her boss allow it. Alaina, desperate, ended up having to leave her toddler home alone, locked in an empty closet, with a box of cereal for his meal for the day. She was wrought with guilt after she did, and she ended up finding a couple in their eighties in their neighborhood who were willing to care for him, for no cost-- Ahe and Kalani Iosua.
  
  Though the couple was very frail and elderly, they had never been able to have children, and they lovingly opened their arms for Mike-- or "Lolo Kai", as they called him. Many nights, Alaina would not come to pick her son up, and he would rest at their house, in a crib that they scraped the money together to buy. On the nights that Alaina did come to get him, they would always offer to let him spend the night. On his second birthday, without his mother there, the Iosuas celebrated Michael's birthday.
  
  The years went on, much the same. Alaina, strongly dependent on alcohol, cocaine, cigarettes, and sex to pass her free time, very rarely spent any moments with Mike. Mike, as he grew, spent many nights sleeping on the Iosuas' creaky couch. He was left to fend for his own on meals. The elderly couple very rarely had anything in their pantry for themselves, much less him.
  
  At school, Mike had a lot of trouble. Though he was a bright boy, he chose to slack off, instead opting to cause trouble. Fights were nearly a weekly thing, permitted because his school was absolutely horrendous. He was a bully, socially high and morally low.
  
  As time went on, Mike showed a strong interest in the field of photography and modeling. He remarked that he wanted to be the next person on the cover of magazines. It was dumb, he'd said, but he kinda just wanted to be famous.
  
  The Iosua's took this to heart, encouraging him to get his grades up, to stop throwing down at school, and to make something of himself. It was difficult for him, and he wasn't good at being good. There were many times where he blew up and said things that he regretted to the old couple. Eventually, though, he began to turn his life for the better.
  
  And then disaster struck.
  
  Ahe, chronically ill, was on oxygen, and one night, an electrical spark ended up catching his tank on fire. Michael had been asleep on the couch when it had happened, and Kalani, asleep in the upstairs bedroom of the rotting house, hadn't been able to get up in time to warn him or to get him to call the fire department.
  
  By the time that the boy, age twelve, had noticed, it was far too late. Even so, he had fought through the flames to try to get to them and save them, before eventually escaping the house, heaving breaths.
  
  The only anchors in his life were gone.
  
  He went to a dark place in his life soon thereafter. He holed up in his house, skipping school nearly every day because absolutely no one cared. His mom tried to speak to him, but he did nothing but blow up at her and turn her away.
  
  Then, he discovered Hollywood Arts.
  
  It was just a little flyer that caught his eye when he had been sitting alone outside of a decrepit gas station. It'd rolled by, soaking wet with the mud from a recent rain.
  
  He'd picked it up.
  
  And he knew what he had to do.
  
  This was his ticket out. This place was his ticket out of this hellhole called home. The Iosuas had wanted him to pursue his dream, and...
  
  And now he had a means to.
  
  It hard for him to bring his grades up, but he poured himself fully into it. He went from attending once or twice a semester to not missing a single day, and he worked himself hard until he had the grades to apply for the scholarship.
  
  When he got it, he felt like he finally had hope.
  
  Now, here he is. He's here because he worked his ass off to be here. He's here because he has to be.

"I could be your angel or I can be your devil. What you want?" Is how Briar would describe herself if you asked her. Part of it has to due with the fact that she's a gemini, the other fact is that she has bi polar disorder. On her good angelic days Briar is a ray of sunshine. She walks around with a smile on her face, talking to random people she meets in the halls. She really likes to make jokes and play around. Only liking to do things if she's going to have a good time, liking to bring other people into her fun. Briar thrives in big groups of people, feeding off the collective energy and can talk to anyone or do anything. It's like her own super power. Feeling her emotions so deeply comes with an upside. She seems to have boundless energy for the things she loves. A fiery heart that burns brightly for all to see. Briar is also extremely unique. It draws you in. Not like anyone you've ever met before. Even the people who dislike Briar have to admit that wasn't always the case. She knows exactly how to act to make people like her.

On her bad days though she is a very different person. Emotional, self destructive, manipulative and kind of bitchy. You never know what you're going to get with Briar. History:
Born to a young couple in New York City, Briar Westynson lived a pretty much idyllic childhood. Her father, Lance, was a handsome rock star who settled down with his high school sweet heart. Her mother, Gemma, came from money and paid for them to live in an upscale loft in the city. The three of them were happy, always listening to music and singing songs. Gemma and Briar enjoyed people watching, dancing in the rain, putting on fashion shows for Briars stuffed animals, and making dinner together. Briar and Lance went to museums, concerts, and the best hole in the wall restaurants in all of New York. Her life seemed normal and perfect. Things only started going downhill when she turned 15. That's when she met a boy. He was a tall 20 year old skater boy with the most beautiful green eyes you've ever seen. Tanned skin, dark brown hair, great fashion sense, and cheek bones that could cut glass. His name was Gabriel, like the angel. It was hard for her to explain her relationship with Gabe. She felt like angels were singing every time he opened his mouth. Wherever he walked it was like flowers bloomed behind him. Briar was in love with him. The two started dating and things went well for a while. But when the honey moon phase ended things got hard. Gabe was extremely jealous, possessive, and had really bad anger issues. It also didn't help he had close to 20,000 followers on Instagram and was signed to one of the best skate companies in the country. She knew that he could have any girl he wanted and he chose her. Like a puppy dog she followed him everywhere. Like to parties. She still remembers the first party they ever went to together. She experimented with a variety of drugs and loved every single one of them. From the first time she did it she was hooked. She started spending less time with her family and more with Gabe. Basically living with him for weeks at a time. He loved the power he had over her and used it every chance he could. Supplying her with drugs and convincing her to fight with her parents. She was so blinded from love she couldn't even tell how bad he was for her. Even when he would come home in the middle of the night, drunk and pissed off. Though one night she didn't feel like being his emotional punching bag and stood up for herself. Briar had never seen him look like that before, so full of rage and anger. He hit her and a piece of her shattered. She knew he was an asshole but she never thought it would get this far. Turning to drugs to deal with her issues she quickly found herself abusing them. It went on for a while until one night her body gave in and she over dosed. The people she was with thankfully dropped her off at the hospital before escaping into the night. She made a full recovery but her parents had seen enough. They sent Briar to rehab for a month. While in rehab her counselor recommended she talk to a therapist. The therapist diagnosed her with bipolar disorder and put her on several medications. Briar tried to take them at first. She felt like her mind was always foggy, and that she was a co-pilot in her own body. Her parents did their best to keep her from Gabe but his roots were too deep. The two started seeing each other again and the cycle continued. Gabe convinced her to flush all her meds and do the drugs he got for her instead. Her parents quickly caught on to what was happening by her sudden mood swings. Coming home manic in the middle of the night, having hallucinations about people following her. They warned her what would happen if she ended up in the hospital again but she didn't even care. All she cared about was Gabe, drugs, and her blossoming music career. The silver lining of her relationship with Gabe was his connections. She had met some people that made music and even started making her own. Her first song made waves in the local community. Gabe thought dating a pop star would be great for his image so he used his following to help grow hers. She quickly gained thousands of followers on social media who adored her. Looking for inspiration to make an EP she had the idea of writing a whole album where every song was one inspired by the drug she was taking. Briar didn't know her limits though and landed herself back in the hospital. This time was different though, she had bruises all over her body and her father knew the culprit. Lance lost his shit and decided that Briar would go to rehab again. This time for 3 months. She went thinking that she would be able to resume her life as normal when she got home. This wasn't the case. Her parents had enrolled her at one of the best performing art schools in the country, Hollywood Arts. They forced her to say goodbye to Gabe and her friends and move to the West coast. Briar tried her best to stay sober, take her meds and focus on her studies. It went well until Gabe started dating some other girl. A basic blonde with no personality. Briar stopped taking her meds like she should and fell back into her self destructive tendencies. Except this time she swore it would be different. She would find a guy who was good for her. They would fall deeply in love and he would be the muse for her art.

    The honest truth of Hunter Mason's life could be stripped down to two events that shaped the direction of his life. The first would be when his birth mother died from complications after giving birth to him. The second is when his father married his second wife and she and her daughter, who was two and a half years older than Hunter was, joined their family.
    
    Hunter's family is one of a complicated one. His father, who many know by the name of Jackson the Pincer Drake. He was, for about fifteen years, a famous professional wrestler. His entire persona was based around his ability to make anyone submit. His popularity skyrocketed in the mid-90s when he was signed to WWE in the height of its Attitude ERa. During that time, while Jackson reached to the heights of Stone Cold and The Rock before he would have cemented his legacy, like the complete idiot that Hunter came to know him as (part of him loving his father and part of him loathing him for it), Jackson forsook his career after meeting a woman.
    
    Her name was Ashley Hawthorne. She was described as a beautiful young woman with raven dark hair and eyes that could stare into a man's soul. She was gentle and kind but firm in what she believed in. Her will was unmatched and to someone like Jackson, she was perfection.
    
    Hunter's aunt Jade has often told him that she never saw her brother be so in love with a person. Ashley and Jackson, though they were seven years apart, with Jackson being thirty when he met her and Ashley just out of college at twenty-three, their romance was one of fairy tales. Hunter never believed in it, but being told about his mother brought a rare happiness to his face. In the span of two years, they got married, got pregnant, and on an early April morning in 2004, when one life was brought into the world, Ashley lost hers.
    
    the world lost an angel that day and it was difficult on the entire Drake family -- Jackson especially. He went through a great depression that lasted close to seven months. That was, of course, until he met the woman that was to be the second love of his life. Hana Lee, a Korean-American accountant who lived in Los Angeles. During a time where he endured both personal and financial hardships, Hana was assigned by her firm to help him. She spent most of her time at his mansion that was originally meant to be for business meetings, but something between them clicked. Maybe it was her striking beauty or Jackson's charm, but it became apparent that Jackson and Hana had something between them. And in three years, Jackson had a family once again. Hana and her daughter, Minjin Grace, often going by Minnie, moved into a new house with their new family. Everyone was so happy.
    
    Throughout all of this, Hunter didn't know what to think. It's not like he had the memory of his mother to latch onto. He didn't know his mother other than what his family told him and the frequency in which he asked decreased as the years went on and an attitude took shape in the form of Hunter's teenage rebellion. His rebellion often took form in going to punk shows, choosing music over school work and even attending Hollywood Arts where he had a focus on singing, his attitude remained. It certainly didn't help that his stepsister had been going there for more than a few years. Was he deadset on trying to make her life difficult?     Corey is something of a creature of comfort.     Corey is the kind of guy who will make you laugh and feel better if you’re having a bad day. He’s the guy you call when you just want to relax and chill. It doesn’t even have to be something drastic. You could sit on his couch and watch bad television. He will go with you on an adventure to the Santa Monica pier when it’s barely daylight and watch the sunrise together. Corey is without a doubt the person you need in your life because of his overall personality, though he has the tendency to joke around a lot, he is someone that makes your life better just by existing.
    
    As much as his good vibes radiate off of him like he’s a literal ray of sunshine, Corey is suspect to anyone with a creative soul. He has moments of self-doubt and is chock-full of insecurities that are both artist-centric and self-esteem-based. He doubts himself and his work, sometimes thinks he’s not good enough or that his recent short story is better than his last. Even someone with so much positivity needs outside sources to help him up.     Corey Elmo Preston, who mind you hates his middle name with a passion, never knew what it was like to have an unsupportive family or even those who favored excellence above all else. He grew up in sunny Los Angeles. He wasn ‘t abused as a child nor tormented for being poor or anything, really. By all accounts, the youngest of four children that Chander and Eleanor Preston had, lived a rather normal childhood. He was loved, supported, and overall, whatever interests he had, he wasn’t met with any form of criticism.
    
    His sisters Christina, Celeste, and Clara were all as they should be: older sisters who were overprotective and generally annoying, but nothing he couldn’t handle. Whenever he was bullied in school, they came to his defense. Growing up with them was a genuine pleasure. Christina often served as being the motherly figure while Celeste was the one often coming to his defense and fending off any bullies, and, though Clara always meant well, she was probably the one who gave him the most shit. Still, likewise with his parents and especially because they had demanding jobs, Corey never felt he wasn’t privileged in his upbringing -- at least, not in the way that garnered media attention. He knew he was blessed.
    
    So why did he feel like he had to be as successful as his sisters were at Hollywood Arts. They all graduated with honors the year they did and for every intent and purpose behind it, they set an example. Maybe he put the expectations on himself. Corey never had any real aspirations for an extensive career. If he could make a living off of doing his art, he would consider that a success. But the dangers of being someone with self-imposed expectations and feeling the need to succeed has often put him on a somewhat self-destructive path of needing to top himself.

Eventually, however, a new family moved into town that had a daughter that Cian grew absolutely head over heels for. That was Juniper's mother, Elenore. Elenore and Cian quickly became friends and soon learned that Elenore's family or at least Elenore was a practicing pagan as well. After a few years, the two married, and Elenore quickly became a part of the Rowland family. They had Makenna around the time that Sybil (one of Cian’s Sisters) and her girlfriend Emma got married and soon came Phillip and Juniper. Juniper has never had a day in her life where she hasn't felt supported by her family and because of the healthy environment, she has come to be rather the empath when it comes to other people's emotions. Not every day is perfect, as from a young age Juniper was diagnosed with anxiety and personality disorders. They surprised her with the news on her 14th birthday. Since then Juniper’s been on the road, playing stadiums and even getting a chance to sing backup. It was a thrill, she had become a well-known icon in the punk and indie genres, going under the pen name Canary. It wasn’t until her technical junior year that Juniper’s Aunts’ heard about Hollywood Arts. Juniper was personally against the idea of going to a school when she was already on tour with her family, but Sybil and Emma convinced her that this would be the perfect opportunity to get her name out and even start a band of her own where her own voice and songs could shine. Wyatt’s childhood was pretty normal. He was the second oldest sibling out of 4 kids. 3 boys and 1 girl. His parents were Middle Upper class. He always felt like he had everything he needed growing up. His older brother, Tanner, was athletic, lady killer type. His younger sister, Lily, was a perfectionist who did competitive ice skating. His youngest brother, Ryan, was an introverted nerd who liked to play video games. Wyatt and his mother, Piper, were extremely close. He had always been a mamas boy and the two of them were very similar. His siblings all had dark hair and eyes like their father.   History: Wren was a 'normal' kid up until he was 8. He was an only child, and involved in a car accident with his biological parents. His parents were killed, but Wren survived, resulting in PTSD and scarring. He was in the foster/adoption system until he was 10, when he was adopted by a large but kind family. He has many siblings, some also adopted and some the biological children of his adoptive parents, and he is among the older group of children.
  
  Throughout school, it was obvious that Wren was different. He would insult other kids without meaning to, and then not understand when they got upset. He had trouble expressing himself and was often bullied for being weird and emotionless. His parents moved him from school to school and, after about a year, he was diagnosed with autism. This meant nothing to Wren, who at this point had decided he didn't really care if other kids didn't like him or understand him. He'd never really had friends so he was perfectly content being on his own, and settled for talking to inanimate objects.
  
  He discovered a passion for art when an art show was put on at his highschool when he was 15. Although he didn't choose the subject, one of his younger siblings had, so his parents insisted the entire family go. Wren found that he actually liked looking at and interpreting art, and he found that he actually felt when it came to paintings and drawings. His parents were ecstatic to have Wren be interested in something, so they were happy to support his passion.
  
  Before long, Wren was painting almost 24/7. He would spend days and days on just one project, and his parents were always in awe of his talent. They knew that this was what Wren should pursue for as long as he could, so when they found out about Hollywood Arts, they knew that it was right for him. He agreed, and this year is his first.

She thinks extremely highly of herself and believes that she's got that IT factor that will take her all the way. Childhood success along with the success that this school is bound to bring with it's track record also has her very confident. She prides herself in believing that she is a triple threat despite having to choose a specific one to focus on as a department. Something she feels is limiting but she supposes not many others could keep up with more then one thing.
  
  She's an extremely hard worker, yes she's naturally talented, but coupled with her determination to always push herself to the limits makes her a force to be reckoned with, and once again she knows this. While she is a people pleaser tweaking herself time and time again to be the vision she believes the world wants to see her be it's only because she believes that's the nature of the industry because that's what her parents made her believe. She wants to be liked because being liked and popular is what helps lands future gigs, it's what keeps you on magazine covers. Their job is to entertain and BE POPULAR. So she doesn't see that trait as a bad thing. What's wrong with being adaptable?
  
  She would say a downfall is her lack of trust in others. She has a small handful of people she grew to trust here after last years incident getting dumped for a cheerleader. She is also a bit spiteful considering she auditioned to be on the cheer squad just to prove she was actually better then the girl she was dumped for and took her spot on the team. She's not normally such a sore loser, but when the rare event does affect her and get under her skin she can't simply let it go without due punishment.   History:
  Stella was the second born and only daughter into a musically inclined multicultural home. Her father was a Jamaican--Irish armature Jazz pianist, and her mother was a second generation Middle eastern american aspiring actress. They affectionately named her Stella However most call her Star, and that's the name she prefers people around her to call her if not dealing with her stage presence. Her parents dreams had to be put on an indefinite hold once her mother became pregnant with her older brother Aiden, and by the time she came along they'd given them up to raise their children. This did mean however that all their opes and dreams (specifically their mother's) was placed on them before they even realized what was happening especially when they noticed the children actually had a gift for music.
  
  Being close in age helped the two become the best of friends. One was rarely seen without the other in anything and they loved it. While their parents pushed them to be their very best at whatever they were pursuing their mother pushed even harder on Stella. It was subtle at first and neither child noticed it since they were both in so much of the same things and as children the same is expected. Their parents gave them vocal lessons, introduced them to Jazz, and taught them how to play the piano. Music was always ringing through the Bailey home. They took dance classes of various different forms outside of school as well. Anything to give them a competitive edge in the industry their parents were grooming them to be a part of. It was a lot on their plate but she loved every moment of it. She got to have fun alongside her brother everyday with the help of her parents who were always very supportive of her and her efforts. They pushed her, but they also always gave a lot of praise.
  
  While her brother would eventually take up martial arts Stella decided to take up a second instrument learning how to play the Violin in the school band starting in the 6th grade. Even though she didn't notice it at first 6th grade was the turning point for her. Her mother started being even more demanding of her, and people at school seemed to be taking more notice of her too. Her focus however was on what it always had been, her brother and her Future. This was also the time she started auditioning for roles on tv shows.
  
  That was until she got the attention of a cute 7th grader who asked her to be his girlfriend. It was her first experience with something like this, so without much thought he said yes. Unsure of what her parents would think the only one she confided in was Aiden. As most middle school relationships go it didn't last long, but the impact had already made it's mark. Over the course of the next three years was that start of them dominating their field. In theater and drama clubs and class they always landed leading roles, in Glee and Choir they always got the best solos, and in her band class she was usually 1st chair for her section. Their success outside of school was very similar winning at most competitions. Often if they had to compete against one another because it wasn't split by genders or solo competitions Stella would get 1st while Aiden got 2nd. Stella was always still proud of them as a team when that happened not realizing that a shadow was growing and it was slowly covering him. She was so blinded by all the praise and adoration she got, she didn't notice they weren't cheering as loudly for him. Only she was, however he did notice, and the wedge was born before she knew it.
  
  Another outside recognition was landing her first role as a regular on a popular Sit-com her 7th grade year. It only ran for two seasons before having to be canceled, but it sealed the deal for her being able to audition and be accepted into Hollywood Arts. Her brother went to another performing arts focused school as well, but it did mean she no longer saw him as much. Which was very difficult for her during freshman year. Freshman year she once again was met with attention from her peers. She was decently popular considering she was to most people the whole package. She was beautiful, talented, and she wasn't dumb. With a certain level of fame already entering the school combined with her personality it wasn't hard for her to get immersed into the culture.
  
  Last year she got her second boyfriend, but this time things were different. With age things were more serious. Sadly by the end of the year he'd broken her heart by dumping her for the more popular head cheerleader at the time because she'd been voted homecoming Princess. Stella had been too busy to even run for something like that, but that's how high school is she discovered. People were always chasing what was new, who was the pretties, what was the best, who was the winner. With that realization she stopped trusting people so blindly, and decided the only person she could trust was her brother. After admitting to her mother what had happened she was told that was the nature of the industry she would join one day. So she gritted her teeth painted a smile on her face and decided to play the game to rise to the top anyways. If she couldn't have real love and affection, then she would get as much of the praise that she was used to as she could. It had been enough for her this long, it could be enough for the rest of her life right? So she joined the cheer team. If she needed to be the best in everything she'd be the best in everything.
  
  Staying stuck in her own ambitions, she has decided to try and get through high school at the top of her game. She was ready to own whatever came her way this year. While her focus since entering Hollywood arts has been drama/acting she does still take every opportunity she can to take vocal and dance electives due to actually having a passion for musical theater.

  Rebellious Javi is no stranger to rule breaking, having become well-versed in the art of not giving a shit for the majority of his life. He often acts on impulse and takes matters into his own hands without a second thought, refusing to bend to the will of authority figures. He does have to exercise some restraint, as he is just barely secure in his position at H.A., knowing he could be expelled for his already lengthy list of misdemeanors, not to mention his debt to the school for tuition. He is somewhat of a defender of the weak, exercising his loud boldness to advocate for his close friends. He can't help but slightly resent the more quiet, compliant people he knows, as it reminds him of his obedient brother and mother. He sees things through to the end and would give up a lot if it meant sticking to his morals.   Javi grew up the oldest of two boys in a strict, traditional household. His father was a retired drill sergeant who never stopped imposing his rules in a harsh manner, even at home. His mother was a soft-spoken lady that never found the courage to stick up for her kids when they were being mistreated by their father, especially when he was drinking.
  
  The importance of rules and the law was drilled so firmly into Javi and his brother's heads for years, however he was the only one that offered up any resistance. Even from a young age he would oppose his father and rebel in whatever ways he could, especially if his little brother was being chewed out for the simplest of mistakes. He grew to despise the sound of cursing in Spanish, although he would constantly shout back at his father in the same language, which would only escalate their fights.
  
  To make matters worse for himself, Javi started skipping school in middle school and nearly had to repeat the seventh grade. He would return home late from skating and making music with his friends almost every day, which strained his relationship with his little brother who had been depending on him for years to defend him. But since he was rarely home anymore, his brother didn't have the confidence to rebel like he did and ended up the more obedient one of the two.
  
  Javi took his complacency as a betrayal, causing him to lash out against his family even more and get into more serious trouble. He and his bandmates spent several different nights in jail for various petty crimes, much to his family's disapproval.
  
  This was the final straw for his father, prompting him to arrange for Javi to be sent to a military academy. As a last-ditch effort, he auditioned for the music department in Hollywood Arts and miraculously made it in on talent, although how he's gonna pay is still being sorted out.

Bobby is a very chill guy. Down to earth, sweet, caring and just a nice guy. Holding a deep love for his music and an almost unmatched work ethic to do what he loves makes Bobby a driven individual so much so that sometimes he can get to engrossed into it. He’s understanding and is always down to chill with people her cares about. Loyal to the end to his friends and family as well as any romantic partners (he’s just had one) just makes him a great guy. When it comes to Bobby’s inner emotions he tends to try and hide them behind his smile and chill attitude. Not wanting to burden others with his problems when he knows it could be worse for him.

Bobby has started his come up younger than most at the school having already become rather famous by the time he got halfway through his freshman year and touring through the summer vacation and at points during his sophomore year. BIOGRAPHY

Bobby was born to his single mother. His dad having left his mother when he found out she was pregnant. It was a rough start to his life but his mother was determined to give Bobby the best chance at a good life. From a young age it was obvious Bobby had a love for music, always listening to music. Bobbys mom didn’t have much to give him growing up but she did her best. Even getting him an I pod for his 6th birthday. Later she would come to say that’s what sealed the deal of Bobby’s future. He always had headphones in and I mean always had them in. As Bobby grew up his love for music thrived, soon turning into studying the works of artists. There flow, style, beat, lyrical skill and even starting to write his own. At the start it was clear Bobby had a nack for the field.

When he was in the 8th grade though Bobby had found a second part of his life that would change him. By chance he had met a girl a grade younger than him and if love at first sight was real she was his. Of course being so young there time dating wasn’t long nor got very fruitful. But to Bobby the time they had set in stone his feelings for her. As they drifted apart and into their different careers she was always in the back of Bobby’s mind.   augustus was born and raised in the marshes of mississippi. his entire family were as redneck bumpkin as could be, and they all thought he would be the same way. his family were good people, honest workers and they were content with their lives. gus' father had a good job cleaning boats at the dock while his mother was the stereotypical diner waitress. they were good, honest people. all of a sudden, one day, his parents surprised their only child with tickets to disney world in florida. at the ripe age of seven years old, he had never felt more excited than that exact moment.
  but that's when it happened, a modeling agent saw augustus and just HAD to have him in a certain retail store catalog. gus' parents were thrilled at the opportunity for their little boy. truth be told, they always wanted better for their kid than just growing up in the slums. they were ashamed that they couldn't give him anything more than their barely enough paying jobs. gus overheard them talking one day, and swore that he would make them proud. he promised he wouldn't let them down, he would prove that they raised him right.
  so push came to shove and augustus was an incredibly successful model, especially once he hit the pre-teen years. gus spent so much time away from his parents, he had no idea what their opinion was on the commercials he was in anymore. he texted them frequently, but there was always a vibe about their conversations that led on that they had more to say.
  one day, augustus was in for a certain photoshoot for a certain name brand. the photographer was a complete asshole. gus just couldn't do anything right, no matter how he stood, how he held his clothes, how he even made his face; nothing pleased the photographer. an hour had passed and the photographer wasn't pleased with anything he shot of gus and ended up going off on him. saying that he was a complete and utter failure and he could never believe he ever got into the industry. he insulted him looks, his ethic, his personality somehow, and even his style sense (even though the stylists dressed him). augustus took it hard, very hard. it's where he began his tunnel vision for improvement. he started working out an unhealthy amount, to help define his muscles so he's photograph better. he picked up a way better skin and hair care routine so he could look flawless without editing. he even did research into what style of clothing he should invest in and what it would say about him.

General Personality: Maggie isn’t soft spoken, but she isn’t talkative either, and prefers to keep to herself. Don’t mistake that for her being reclusive, she loves people! You just have to be the one to approach her. Once she gets to know you she is bubbly, humorous and probably has more energy than you ever will, especially when discussing somethings she loves. Maggie is kind, a bit naive and she trusts everyone she meets unless they give her a reason not to.

She takes her music very seriously, and if she’s not practicing, she’s writing new songs, cooking or drinking coffee. She seriously runs on the stuff. Until highschool, Maggie was fully ready to accept the fact that she’d become a lawyer, but her freshman year, she put her foot down and reluctantly her parents agreed to let her attend Hollywood Arts.

Growing up, Maggie was an only child until her parents had her little brother, Cooper, when she was eleven. Cooper was her best friend, and she’s sad that she doesn’t get to see him all of the time. General Personality: Nic prefers to keep to himself, mostly because he doesn’t like people. He can come across as arrogant and aloof, especially to those he doesn’t know. He doesn’t have very many close friends, and tells himself he likes it that way. He always has some sarcastic retort, and doesn’t like idle conversation. Nic tends to pour himself into his music, and finds that’s the only time he expresses his emotions truthfully.

Nic, once you get to know him is as loyal as they get, and his crankiness becomes endearing. He tends to push people away, afraid of getting hurt, a result of his childhood.   HISTORY:
  january was born on december 19th into a happy family of her mother, amber quinten, father, henry quinten and an older brother named kendrick quinten. the quintens were a typical family; if by typical you mean they were incredibly rich because her mother was a brilliant surgeon shaping the face of medicine, and her father owned his own insanely successful company. so while most parents would hate their children to take an interest in things such as music or writing or something "not stable", the quinten children could go into the business of selling rocks and they'd be set for life. so when january showed interest in songwriting, producing and performing, her parents only encouraged her. especially since her brother, kendrick, was perfectly content on being the "heir" to their father's company.
  however, january's life went downhill, fast. with her brother being four years older than her, there was a relationship gap. they weren't as close as most siblings january knew, so she was determined to have a good relationship with him. needless to say, kendrick acted out. they got to an incredibly heated argument that resulted in both physical and sexual abuse and, of course, kendrick forced her to never say anything. well that didn't end up happening as january immediately told her mother.
  her mother took her side in the ordeal, trying to talk to her father about calling the police on him, as he was 18 and january was only 14. apparently, her older brother had a history of punching and slapping women. her father, wanting to be able to pass the company down in the family, said to just sweep it under the rug. january and her mother were beat, there was nothing they could do besides send her to a different state, away from kendrick and her father. her parents said they were "separated" but january knew that as soon as she went off to college, they would be getting a divorce.
  so january and her mother moved out to california, to a normal, not performing arts school. this is where january met her soon to be boyfriend, emmanuel. he started out being the sweet football jock, and he took her on the sweetest dates and supported her in all her music endeavors. so when january found Hollywood Arts and applied for the music department, it wasn't surprising when he was being the most encouraging person in the world. he was bragging to all their friends that he was dating the next number one popstar in america and how he was going to be against the barricade at every single one of her concerts. then january got rejected from the music department. and instead of emmanuel being there to comfort her and console her, he dumped her. he said he couldn't afford that tainting his reputation and how he deserved to be with someone as talented and successful as himself, seeing how he already had a football scholarship lined up for at least three different colleges.
  january was mortified. but one thing about january is, she turns her hurt into spite and that spite into fuel. thankfully, january always had photography as a hobby. her mother always told her she was amazing, so she decided she would bite emmanuel in the ass and apply to the visuals department at HA. in the span of 36 hours, jan scrapped together a small series of hearbreak photograhs. it was deemed impressive enough to allow her in the visuals department.

  Saint Taylor (or, as more people know him, Saint Tay) was born on August 21st, 2003, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Jemaya "Maya" Taylor in her senior year of college. Jemaya, daughter of Derrick Taylor, county clerk, was single at the time, though she knew who Saint’s father was— Travis Glencoe, a married man who Maya didn’t know was married at the time that they got together. It was a whole mess. Travis didn’t want anything to do with Saint, but he did help out his mother when she requested— because, you know, otherwise Maya promised to tell his wife that he’d fathered her children.
  
  Maya and Saint lived on their own in a small apartment complex on the outskirts of Memphis. His mother, a nurse at a community hospital, did her best to support Saint, and his father picked up the slack when she couldn’t. Thus, Saint lived a very comfortable life.
  
  He heard about Hollywood Arts through a little flyer one time. He told his mom about it, and she kindly told him that they couldn’t afford that. He made a promise to himself to get in regardless, and he worked hard to get a scholarship for the school.

GENERAL PERSONALITY
Despite her what her tastes in colors and music may suggest, Ramona is a disthymic of astronomical proportion. She has this "too tired for this" veneer that is hard to get past, has a propensity for sarcasm, and dishonesty, and tends to work herself into a rut. Her moderate success in the music business and Tumblr-hipster aesthetic do little to make her less aloof. She also has a handful of strange habits, including talking to herself, making strange and constant direct eye contact, and an obsession with fad diets. She's also a bit of a compulsive drinker when in the thick of her songwriting frenzies.

Ramona was born and bred in the heart of Massachusetts, home of shitty winters and shittier drivers, land of Dunkin Donuts and football brawls. The pinnacle of New England chaos. In her family's tiny but ungodly expensive apartment just off the Cambridge town border, she spent her early days crawling around museums and art galleries. Her two fathers both worked for years as exhibit guides in the nearby Museum of Science, and were committed to providing their adopted daughter with a life well versed in the arts and sciences. Despite their working class lifestyle, she was raised with the notion she could be anything she wanted to be.

She wrote her first poem at 5 years old . It was crap. Her first song at 9. That was even worse. She certainly wasn't born with the sterling mezzo-soprano belt she would grow into in her teens. But the thing about Ramona is that she was raised to be persistent. Soon her little pink journal was filled with poems, each a little better than the last. She started putting them to music, plucking away on her dad's guitar until she saved up enough to buy her own.

She started small, performing at coffee shops and poetry slams. Her skills quickly began to surpass expectations, though, as it was discovered she had a knack for all kinds of instruments. Guitar remained her mainstay, but she picked up an accordion once at an open mic and never put it down. She also developed passable skills on harmonica, recorder and ukelele, all of which contributed to the unique and eccentric sound she started to build up.

Her first few auditions to Hollywood Arts were unsuccessful, but eventually the admissions board saw something in Ramona's voice that they felt they could work with. She had potential, they thought, to break genre barriers and become an atypical mainstream hit. For this reason, they looked aside her strange attitude and signed her on to the school.

BIOGRAPHY

Kordei Adrian Grant was born on January 14, 2003 in the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. While raised to believe his father died at war, he later learned his dad had only just left their small family following the birth of his younger sister, Kandi. Due to this, his mother was forced to work two jobs, one as a nurse, and the second as a babysitter. With his mother out of the house so often, Kordei and his younger sister Kandi got very close, and Kordei saw himself as her protector of sorts even as a child. While pulling strings with his charm, and connections, Kordei did his best to assure to his younger sister that everything would be alright, even if it meant he had to skip a meal for her, or spend his birthday money on her sneakers. With time this inclination to make Kandi feel everything was going well, spread to his other relationships as people formulated rumors and chatter about their family.

In spite of this, the two siblings found refuge in their small church. They joined the church choir as only children, with Kordei nimble on the piano, and Kandi a lead vocalist. Deacon Williams, the choir organizer, soon became a strong influence on Kordei. As he assumed the father figure role in his life, Williams eventually visited the two more and more, working privately on both their singing and instrument-playing. It was through him that Kordei learned various values, and morals, along with finding his own voice. Dei was voiced with the voice of soul, and with every note his essence truly reverberated into the church choir. Moms and dads, sisters and brothers were all touched by the young man's voice. Eventually videos of him singing in from his youth, even to teenage-hood had gone viral, though to Kordei singing still remained just a hobby.

By the time high school rolled around though, singing just wasn't going to pay the bills. His mother grew ill from using alcohol and drugs to cope with her stress. Money needed to come now, and Kordei was unwilling to sign his life away to a gang. Instead, he'd committed his life to playing football since he was in middle school, and while he'd just received a lucrative offer to join Hollywood Arts, the IMG Academy seemed so much more appropriate for the path he wished to take. Kordei ignored his younger sister's wishes, and eventually relocated to IMG Academy, hyped up to start as the varsity team running back. Instead, Kordei was terribly injured in only his third preseason game, and suffered a dislocated knee, torn ACL and a minor Meniscus tear. He would be out for 6-8 months.

Now at the lowest of his lows, and with his younger sister receiving an offer to attend Hollywood Arts, Kordei took up his former offer and relocated to Los Angeles instead. He spent half of his freshman year, and some of his sophomore year in a cast. Singing, and learning throughout his rehabilitation process. Once healed up and able to perform, a once shaken Kordei took the stage at Hollywood Arts. While he struggles with truly loving to sing, Kordei's been touted and listened to just for his raw talent. Even without any extra practice, or drinking of egg yolks, he's managed to add to Hollywood Arts' firepower, and has mainly used his attention to either get girls, or get high. All of which are just ways to distract himself from his critically ill mother, and the pending choice he has to make between football and music.

Kordei hit his growth spurt early, and ended up plateauing at 6'1". He has a lean muscular build, kept up mostly by childhood athletics and decent exercise. While he weighs a little over 170 lbs., he has more of a slim build. His skin is smooth, soft, and a glowing truffle brown in colour. Due to a (satisfactory) hair and face regimen, and mostly genetics, his skin is most often near flawless. Kordei's lips are pink, and full, with a thin mustache above, and the hair down his jawline.     Malachi is usually the most unassuming person in a group. He’s not really the type to stand in the centre of a room and gather attention from the masses, though from the stares and whispers he receives about himself in corridors he’s sure that it isn’t necessary, he’s more the type to sit in the corner of a room and take in the atmosphere of a room. Growing up, Malachi found that he actually cared a lot for what other people perceived and thought of him, though after toughing it through much of the struggles of performance and music, he’s found himself having a much stronger backbone and is now usually the last person to care what people think of him.     history

    Malachi was born on the 14th February 2003 – right on Valentine’s day. He was born in London, England to an Ethiopian father and an Indian mother (both of whom were immigrants). Malachi couldn’t complain about his relationship with his parents, he grew up in a happy home with two loving parents and one younger sister. That being said, that didn’t mean they didn’t have their fair share of hardships. One common theme that always seemed to ring at the back of their family were financial and racial struggles. His father could never seem to actually hold down a job and was always hopping from job to job, never really finding ground to stick on. His mother had a steady job as a cashier at a supermarket but only managed to bring a minimum wage pay home. Barely enough to pay the bills and keep the house steady and functioning. With that being said, it wouldn’t really come as a surprise that Malachi was never given any luxuries growing up. Most of his clothes and toys were thrifted.
    
    He also never really got to know any family outside of his immediate family, both sides of either family refusing to meet each other due to racial prejudices and unacceptance. His Indian mother’s family refused to accept that she had married a black man, and his father’s side outright shaming Indian society and culture. It was really hard growing up as he wasn’t really sure how to identify himself. When people would approach him and ask him what he was, he never really had the best idea. For a while he even hated both sides of his family, choosing to associate more with the much larger Nigerian population of London than acknowledge his own family. He supposed that this is where his early desperation for wanting to be liked by others stemmed from.
    
    He was actually more athletic growing up than musical. He was on track and swimming and never really paid any attention to the music department of his school. Most probably due the stereotypes of music being a bit more girly – toxic masculinity which he looks back on and rolls his eyes at. It wasn’t until that he started acting out in schools and getting into fights did music enter his life.
    
    The school acknowledged Malachi’s struggles with his home life after one or two sessions of speaking with a counsellor. The school wanted to do something more for him, something so he wouldn’t fall on the wrong tracks in life – so they introduced him to after school music club. He was handed a free guitar, courtesy of the school, and was told to learn it. That and vocal lessons with the school’s music teacher. She saw the potential that no one else really saw and taught him to harness his talent. And he was talented, he impressed all the faculty members that he performed in front of and even managed to sing and play guitar in front of the entire school at his assembly. Music really helped him become an independent person and learn to see life through a different lens. It wasn’t until later, until his teacher uploaded a video of him singing and playing guitar in one of his assembly’s, was he scouted by Hollywood arts and received a full scholarship ride with housing included. It’s still a whirlwind that he really doesn’t seem to understand.

    Chanel is the daughter of French diplomat and a Russian painter, a combination that no one in their social circle said they would have ever thought would happen. Okay so, maybe her mother wasn’t a ‘painter’ type of painter – you know, the type that’s famous. But at least she tried. But there needs to come a time when a young lady listens to her mother and decides to put her ovaries on the table. She wasn’t going to get anywhere with her talents and her skillset. Not in a place like post-soviet Russia. She needed an out, an opportunity to somehow leave the poor conditions that they were used to. Some may call it cheap and dirty, but her mother used to go out every night, high heels on and makeup freshly painted to find that out. And that she did on a cold December night in 1992. She went to a bar, a very influential one. She knew she wasn’t going to be allowed in with the type of status she had, especially when she didn’t have the money to be allowed in, so her mother snuck in with the catering crew. After sneaking in, she changed her clothes in a hurry before setting out to look around. And on that faithful night, Katerina Popov met Antione du Maurier – diplomat to the initial careful exchange of French diplomacy into post-soviet Russia. And Katerina did what she needed to do. Charm his socks off… and the rest of his clothes.
    
    And within the span of one month both Antoine du Maurier and his wife, now Katerina du Maurier, were married and were on the way back to France after a brief but enjoyable honeymoon in Hawaii. Initially, Katerina and Antoine spent years of their lives just having fun, hosting lavish parties and enjoyed being part of the socially elite. Katerina particularly took well to being a socialite, but all this came crashing down in 2002. When Antoine started to talk about his want for a child more and more frequently. Truth be told, Katerina didn’t want to be stuck raising a child. But she’d heard of baby traps and she knew what she needed to do. So, on 06.08.2003, Chanel du Maurier was born. Initially, she was frequently left in the care of her nannies and learned everything about how to behave and proper decorum. Her stage presence in French theatre became more notorious around the age of twelve and she was affectionately named by her fans ‘Petite Coco’. She was adored and really had no problem staying in French theatre, until she was called by her manager when she turned sixteen. Something about her needing to translate to American audiences if she wanted to get anywhere. French films far differ from the grandiose of American films.     Halime presents herself in a more mature way than most students at HA. She learnt what her position was in life and how she was perceived at a young age. She’s usually not the person to outwardly go and speak to someone unless spoken too, but this doesn’t mean that she’s weak. Sometimes she thinks that people mistake her introverted nature for weakness, but she wouldn’t be afraid to call a bitch out if she needed to. She has an extremely strong set of values established in her from a young age and always believes in following them. That being said, she is an extremely polite individual, and only acts out of aggression or anger when it comes to more serious issues. In some cases, she’s definitely outspoken in things she believes in like racial equality, establishment of free public healthcare, etc. Halime is a self-assured individual, she would rather deal with it herself then talk to someone about what’s going on when it comes to her own personal struggles.
    
    Halime is definitely one who struggles with balancing tradition, modelling and the western world ideals, unlike her sister Hawa. She would never compromise not matter who the person is. It would probably take god messaging her directly for her to take any drastic action.
    
    That being said, she’s very open minded. She wouldn’t chastise someone for their beliefs or how they live their lives – their lives are their lives and not hers, so she didn’t really need to care about it at all. Halime definitely isn’t someone who’s complacent in her attitude.     Hawa has tan skin, kissed by warm weather and desert sands. Jordanians usually came in a spectrum from either really fair skin or really dark skin and Hawa, by chance, fell in the middle. Whilst she doesn’t have a mix and mash of features like her older sister, she does consider her features somewhat aesthetically pleasing. She has medium brown eyes with flecks of amber, hazel and black - which shine brightly when she’s happy or excited. She has both naturally black hair (not that anyone except other women can see it) and black, full eyelashes – usually accompanied by a lash lift or lash extensions to emphasis them. She has almond shaped eyes with a curved, button nose and a fuller pout. She stands at 5’7” – being considered to be a bit short for a model and has a slim figure.     In one word, Hawa could be described as nice. A nice girl, nice to be around, nice natured, etc. She tries her hardest to be nice and kind to everyone, even though she might hate doing so deep down. Maybe it’s because she’s a stubborn people pleaser who wants everyone to like her. Who knows? It’s because of that fact, that you’ll usually Hawa flit between social groups and friends. When it comes to two of her friends from different groups arguing, Hawa tends to stay out of it – mainly out of fear that she’ll have two people that dislike her rather than actual concern for said friends or what they’re arguing about. She’s ever so polite but her politeness isn’t to say that she’s submissive, far from it actually. She’s actually the type who can easily dominate a narrative or a conversation if she so pleased to.
    
    She tries to portray a happy-go-lucky character whenever she can. The type of girl to be down for anything or anyone. Albeit this has gotten her in a lot of trouble in the past. Though firm in her faith, this hasn’t stopped her from doing things which girls in her position shouldn’t do. Things like going clubbing (but not drinking any alcohol), being alone with boys, wearing the occasional slightly revealing outfit when her older sister isn’t around. Of course, when peering from the outside this doesn’t seem like a bad thing, but she knows that she would be disgraced within her own ethnic community. That being said, she definitely would be shunned if they or even her sister found out about her romantic/dating history.
    
    Hawa can also be mischievous. Occasionally doing actions some would consider ‘two faced behaviour’ or ‘playing both fields’. Never really doing anything out of specific malicious intent but being a dumbass in her pursuit to loved. It’s usually chalked up to her need to be liked by most people. You see, Hawa wouldn’t considered herself a conceited person. She doesn’t think very high of herself at all. But she does have bad attention seeking tendencies. This is also usually chalked up to the fact that she’s spent most of her own life living in her sisters’ shadow. Being referred to as ‘Halime’s younger sister’ or ‘Abbasi number two’ at their previous school.     Willow is mostly an introverted girl. She keeps to herself and doesn’t really expand outside of her social circle. This isn’t to say that she’s shy in anyway. She knows when she needs to speak up and most importantly, she knows how. When she’s extremely passionate about something, she can find herself droning on for hours and hours at a time.
    
    Willow is a gentle and caring individual. Artistic and creative, she lives life through a lens of hidden meanings and possibilities. She often finds herself burdening the responsibilities of others, whether she has accepted to do so or not. She lives life by intuition, doing things in the moment rather than with structured which is more often reflected in scenes of her artwork.     history

    Willow was born on the 26th February 2004. Her name was made into a double barrelled name due to her parents apparent inability to decide on one name - so they did the next best thing and went for two. She was originally born ‘Willow-Rose Smith’ but had her surname changed into Robin after her mother and father divorced. Her father left her and her mother’s life, so Willow lived with her single mother for all her life - hence why her surname changed to her mother’s maiden name. She was born an only child and doesn’t really have any other siblings - or at least any that she knows of. Her deadbeat dad could have got some other poor woman pregnant and left her two so she never says never when it comes to him.
    
    She doesn’t really have much memories of her early childhood, much like most people. She can only really go off what her mother has told her which was that she, her mother and her father (back when he was still in the picture) used to live a quiet, suburban lifestyle. They were a picturesque family really - and quite religious at that too with her mother and father always taking her to church as a child and allowing her to experience religion first hand. Then her mother’s split with her father happened and a whole other beast happened.
    
    When Willow’s mother and father split, Willow’s mother really ‘went off the rocks’ as most people in their small suburban community would say. She denounced the church she was a part of as her first step. A church she and Willow were anchored to by her ex-husband who insisted that they switch to this denomination. After receiving the estate after split, in what can only be described as a power move, Willow’s mother proceeded to sell the entire estate and the furniture in one go. Leaving behind nothing of her husbands that could connect to her and make her feel upset. Willow was concerned at first but quickly forgot about it when her mother took her to get both their hairs cut.
    
    Willow then remembers rolling a small trolley into a bungalow styled house, small and covered in colourful artwork. She remembers being handed a paintbrush and being told to go wild by her mother, and so she did. Painting each and every single wall to her hearts content as her mother began to put up different decorations and lit sage in the house, spreading around the smoke. Willow didn’t really know what that one meant until she was older.
    
    It wasn’t until she got a little older, when she reached her pre-teens that she realised that she and her mother were essentially living a ‘hippy’ lifestyle and rumours around the entire area about her and mother had spread around the entire area. Crazy rumours like her mother doing LSD and encouraging Willow to do it too. Rumours of indecency and false truths on their lifestyles. By this point Willow had already developed her love for art - after being inspired by artists such as Raphael, Michelangelo, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. But she also had a love for books and fiction - and to hear other people spread rumours that she was stupid due to her lifestyle really hurt.
    
    She really kicked her paintings up a gear after hearing the rumours. Eventually, a piece of hers which was entitled ‘Kronos’ was picked up by the media and people were flocking to see her paintings. Soon thereafter, she was labelled a child prodigy at what she did and her paintings were selling in the millions. She picked Hollywood arts to be her place of study and she wasn’t too serious about studies and she knew what she wanted to do in life already.

    Mei has always been described as having an innocent looking face. Fairy-esque from the day she was born with large eyes, wide and wavering like the ocean. She has extremely delicate and pale skin, something which her mother revered in and often encouraged her to keep - never allowing her to step foot in the sun too long and always making sure that the SPF in her sunscreen was always above 50. It got to the point where doctors and physicians were expecting anaemia but alas, her skin tone adapted to make the paleness of her skin suit her. She has large doe like eyes, brown in their colour and filled with long and spacious eyelashes which are always accentuated with a coat of mascara to emphasise them. She has double eyelids as opposed to mono-lids and has a deep epicanthal fold towards her inner eye.     If you looked up the term ‘Manic Pixie Dream Girl’ on google, then surely a picture of Mei would surely appear. The whimsical, quirky, sometimes eccentric, fantasy woman who most men would believe being in a relationship with would change their luck. But fuck that. Mei wasn’t anyone’s character crutch. It wasn’t her job to fix fragile men with their fragile egos. Yes she is pretty, of course she knows that. She’s out of the box, wild and sometimes too hard to handle. And maybe she did appear like someone who didn’t have a mind of her own. But fuck them. They didn’t know her. She was intelligent beyond compare, her words on paper brought hearts to life, beating and wounded all the same. She had an empathy that no one could imagine and people could go fuck themselves if they thought she was gonna waste it on fixing a man who wasn’t worth two cents of her time. Honestly, one more bad interaction with a man and she’s ready to condemn the entire gender.
    
    A lot can be assumed when you first see Mei. When it comes to the literature department, she mostly keeps to herself and doesn’t really share her work. But that doesn’t mean she’s shy or interested. To be fair, she’s quite tired of hearing “I thought you were an airhead” or “You sound more intelligent than you look.” But, the two traits most people enjoy the most are that she's charismatic and protective. Of course she's also energetic, leaderly and rational, but those are often overshadowed by tendencies of being disconcerting as well. Her charisma though, this is what she's most popular for. Friends usually count on this and her responsibility in times of need. She has a quick wit and sarcasm to herself that cannot seemed to be rivalled however it only really seems to peak out when she’s pissed off or has a point to make.
    
    She often appears to be gentle, mild-mannered, stable, sympathetic, amicable, and brimming with a strong sense of kindheartedness and justice.
    She has very delicate thoughts, strong creativity, and perseverance, and acquire professional skills well.     Mei was born prematurely on the 1st January 2004, at Amcare Women’s and Children’s Hospital「北京美中宜和妇儿医院」. The year of the Goat. She was actually meant to be born in Los Angeles with her mum, her nurse and a water bath in their home. The Liao’s were no strangers to money with Mei’s father being a stock broker and her mother being a CEO of a well known skincare and cosmetics company. So when Mei’s mother learned she was pregnant, she threw all her money at making her pregnancy as comfortable as possible, including having the birth at home rather than a hospital. However, their luck changed when Mei’s mother was called to Beijing for an emergency shareholder meeting. She booked the first flight she got and was granted safe for travel, but no one could prepare her for her early labour that was only two days into her trip to Beijing. She was born thirty six weeks into her mother’s pregnancy, making her a month prematurely. Her mother payed for the best around the clock care for her daughter, keeping her warm, well fed, cuddled - almost anything and everything in excess. And after Mei and her mother were in the clear to go back to Los Angeles, the coddling didn’t stop there.
    
    Mei grew up an only child, only really having her own company and home and her own make believe fantasy realm. Her mum was far too scared to have another child after the events of Mei. Some may call it PTSD, Mei’s mum just shrugged it off and said she only needed one heir to her fortune. Mei was also given as many toys, jewellery, clothes and makeup as she wanted. Anything she clicked her fingers for, she received. Mei’s mother also dealt with postpartum depression, even long after Mei’s birth - not really having the time or will to get it treated. This impacts their relationship significantly as Mei didn’t have a significant attachment to her mum growing up. That being said, it wasn’t like Mei didn’t really have absolutely any love from her parents growing up. Her dad was a significant part of her life. Always coming home with nothing but smiles and love for his daughter, always holding her close with pride and adoration. He also spoilt her in the best way he thought he could - numerous tutors and practice for skill learning.
    
    Her dad put an emphasis of mathematical and scientific teachings, wanting her to have a sure career as soon as she made it into her own into the big world. But she didn’t care, she always found herself drifting away during lessons, dreaming on possibilities and realities that could happen when she went into her own head. Most people would describe her as an airhead really. Someone who had no goals in life, no aspirations to become higher than what she wanted to be. And maybe it was true in the beginning. Her mind never stimulated enough with material she actually liked, no one ever truly understanding her.
    
    She never felt understood.
    
    Not until she picked up a book on her twelfth birthday. A book published in 1969, so old that it wouldn’t really grip the attention of anyone of her standing really. But she read it. And she read. And each and every word Maya Angelou painted with words on canvas, ink running down paper, dipped in blood of happiness and suffering the more Mei understood why indeed The Caged Bird sang. It was from there that she got her love for poetry and her love to want to do poetry. Every night she would practice and perfect her writing, reading them aloud to make sure it sounded like her and when her heart was finally contempt, she wanted to take it to the next level. So she did. She begged her dad to allow her to apply to Hollywood Arts on the basis of her poetry, and though reluctant at first, her father finally gave in and sent her to audition. One she passed with flying colours when she read to them a poem about girl with brown eyes.
    
    Nowadays she gets most of her funding from her dad and her mum still disapproves of what she’s doing. Almost to the point of no contact. It still hurts Mei, but she knew she had to travel the path less travelled.

Jack is fun loving, goofy and charming. He always has a positive attitude and tries his very best to make others, and himself happy. Jack is known to get up to mischief quite often, blaming it on boredom. (“Hey what else am I supposed to do?”). Quinn is, at first glance, intense, serious and even condescending. That’s because she takes dance very seriously, and believes it to be more important than close friends, which is what she was taught to believe as a child. Once you break open her shell, however, she’s girly, funny and the loyalest person you’ll ever met, and will defend her friends to the death, even if she has to fight someone to do it. Quinn doesn’t have much free time, but when she does she’s usually sketching or trying to coerce one of the music kids to teach her guitar and piano. Basic Personality: Kane is charming, confident and bold, and gives off this “Don’t mess with me” vibe at the same time as being laid back and relatively kind. He is a known flirt, and kind of a lady killer, though he’s not a fuck boy, which is an interesting contradiction. Actually, Kane’s never had a real girlfriend (or his first kiss for that matter, though he’ll never admit it). He has a way of drawing the truth out of anyone, and can shut you down with a look. His confidence is contagious, and despite his inflated ego, he’s somewhat of a hype man to his friends. He talks in a low, even tone, one that always contains some barely concealed threat, no matter how simple the conversation.

Kane isn’t much of a partier, but he is a people person, and considers himself one of HA’s “top dogs”. Seriously, don’t mess with him. Despite his serious demeanor, Kane is relatively easy going, kind and has a wicked sense of humor, though most of the time it’s at the expense of others. He’s very charismatic, and makes friends just as easily as he makes enemies. He takes his music very seriously, but does enjoy his free time as well. General Appearance: Kane has dark brown hair with tints of red in it. He typically sports an easy smirk, and has a habit of bearing his straight, white teeth. Kane is well muscled from years of doing wrestling, boxing and growing up in Chicago. He stands at 6’0”. His blue-grey eyes are accentuated by curling lashes and a gently sloping nose. His jawline is spectacularly chiseled, and is always clean shaven.

Clothing: Kane will not leave the house unless he looks his best. He usually sports some sort of button down shirt, and black pants, though some days just a nice outfit will do. He has a tendency to put stuff in between his lips and let it hang there, such as a pencil, a match, a cigarette, though he doesn’t smoke those, anything really

Backstory:

Kane grew up in the rich part of Chicago, the son of two very wealthy and successful business people. He only ever attended private schools, and has the attitude to prove it. Growing up in Chicago isn’t easy, even on the good side of the city, so he quickly learned how to defend himself. Kane got in trouble with the police a few times growing up, usually over some fight he had gotten into or being blamed for something else. Before he started highschool, his parents decided he needed to be sent somewhere, and came to the conclusion that H.A is the best place for him.
