Please read the rules before applying. Below is a basic outline of the Wizarding World in this roleplay, as we are not going to be in Harry Potter's timeline. This is essentially an AU, as the events of Harry Potter never really occurred.

Welcome to Wizarding England! It is The 29th of July, 2014, and Hogwarts is due to open in just over a month. The Minister of Magic, Leonis Malfoy, would like to remind all citizens that Diagon Alley will be filled to the brim with children soon, and that parents should watch out of their children and be sure not to scare the muggle parents of Hogwarts students overmuch.
The Headmaster of Hogwarts, Quentin Trimble, would also like to say that rats, snakes, and ferrets are to be allowed this year as pets. This is a probationary year, and if these animals cause too much of a disturbance or fuss the privilege will be withdrawn.

The teacher names are placeholders, if anyone would like to roleplay a teacher in any position except from Ancient Runes, I will gladly replace the name with your character's.

- Limit of 5 characters per person, although you are certainly welcome to have more if you wish.
- No killing unless you discuss it with the character's RPer and have a good reason behind it.
- I reserve the right to decline your application or ask you to change details, although I'm not unreasonable.
- No godmodding. There's not going to be any Harry Potters here. Metamorphmaguses (Metamorphmagi?) are fine, as are some discreet magical creatures, as long as the entire cast isn't composed of them. If you want you character to have a special ability like these please say so in the application.
- You can be a teacher or a student, unless few people sign up.
- A minimum of five people must sign up for me to start the roleplay.
