Garrett and Alissa, currently sitting in the same carriage with Cassie and James ironically. Alissa blows at her bangs and pins them back carefully before pulling out her notebook to write and draw, she smiled a bit as she doodled James slightly and then Cassie. Garrett currently reading a book on Quidditch, before looking at the two. "You excited for Quidditch this year?"

Robert sat in the boat confused, "Who is going to row the boats?" He frowned a little, "We're not going to miss anything are we?" He looked around at the other students, and then grabbed the ring his parents had given him, rubbing it slightly in his fingers. "Why are we just sitting in the water?" Biting his lip, Robert looked up at the sky, then around at he other boats. The other kids weren't freaking out, so he tried to hide his anxiety.

Cassie glanced briefly at James waiting for him to say something. The two still weren't on speaking terms, and if it was possible, thingd had gotten eve more tense between them after one of Jame's buddies had whacked her upside the head with his broom, and James didn't say anything whatsoever, he just pretended like it didn't happen. "Yeah, I'm excited," James replied gruffly. "what about you?"

Hagrid climbed into the boat with the four kids and the boats began to float towards the school. "I don't know whether I'm more enchanted or lake sick." Albus groaned at the rocking of the boat. Back and Forth, Back and Forth. He felt like he would be sick with nerves.

Alissa watched the two and came up with the conclusion herself of what had happened and bit her lip slightly. "I dont believe ive ever had the proper time to introduce myself... Im Alissa Morgans, just call me Ali." She said and flashed them a smile as she put out her hand to James first. Garrett nods slightly. "Yeah im excited. This year is going to be a close year, i can feel it... Im Garrett Ross by the way." He said while looking at them.

Rebecca looked at Albus a bit worried. "Hey Al, how about you focus on something else rather then... The boat..." She said softly while pointing up to the stars. "They are so clear tonight... Its been awhile since i looked at them." She said while scooting beside him.

Robert seemed shocked when the boat started to move on its own, he gripped the sides, then realized what was happeneing and relaxed. "Well... that makes sense, I forgot Im surrounded by... magic." He frowned a little and sighed, this new world was going to be something crazy to get use too. He heard the girl who looked to be his age talk about the stars, and he looked up in awe.

Albus nodded breathing heathily. He looked up slowly at the sky, trying no to notice how his stomach was squirming and wreathing like snakes with each jolt of the boat. "Yeah, it is really beautiful isn't it?" If you were listening to the tone of Albus' voice you really couldn't be sure whether he was talking about the sky or something else. "T-thanks Becca." He sighed closing his eyes, breathing in a shuddery breath.

"Nice to meet you Alissa and Garrett, I'm Cassie." Cassie replied warming up slightly, but as soon as James spoke, her face went stony again. "I have faith that Gryffindor's gonna take home the cup this year." James said smugly. "I'm James, James Potter." "Not everyone needs to know your last name or that your a Potter James." Cassie huffed, hopping out of the carriage. She petted the head of a thestral softly, and headed inside to the Great Hall.

Rebecca smiles a bit and blushes a bit at the nickname. "Hm? Oh your welcome Albus." She said as she gazed up at the stars and smiled a bit to herself while finding the constellations.

Garrett blinks and gets out. "Nice to meet you James, Cassie." He said as he headed inside after Cassie. Alissa smiles slightly at James. "Its lovely to meet you James Potter. Hopefully ill see you in some of my classes yeah?" She said and got out of the carriage gracefully and headed inside.

James smiled at Alissa. "Yeah, hopefully." He replied hopping out of the carriage." Cassie sighed sitting down at her usual spot at the Gryffindor table. James sat across from her in his usual spot also, but instead of even attempting to speak the two ignored each other looking towards the center of the room waiting for the first years to arrive.

Hagrid helped the 1st years out their boats once they hit shore, and led them to the entrance of the large school where a tall slender woman stood waiting for them. "Hello children, I am Hestia Grindwald, Head of Ravenclaw House, I am your Potions teacher, and will also be your guide today." She announced so all the students could hear her. She handed off her lantern to Hagrid and pushed open that large doors, leading them inside

Robert looked around the castle in awe, "Oh my goodness. This place is INSANE! A real castle!?" He was stunned, looking around at all the different things. It was almost as if he was a kid in a candy shop looking at every piece of candy individually, absolutely shocked by the magnitude of the school as they walked

Rebecca raised a brow at the one boy who shouted out slightly before leaning over to Jackson. "Must be a muggleborn..." She said softly before following after the slightly older woman, looking around slightly.

Alissa smiles a bit before heading to the Ravenclaw table and sitting by Garrett who is currently readying his book but is facing the Gryffindor table to keep and eye out for the two younger students.

Emily clutched her wand as Professor Grindwald led them inside. She didn't know why she reacted that way, it just happened. "Alright, it's time." She muttered to herself as she followed the group into the Great Hall, where she saw older students seated at four different tables. She gulped a little, almost tripping over her robes.

Rose followed the trickling mob of students inside the magnificent castle she gasped out loud and nearly yelled "Oh My God it's so beautiful," She ran up to the wall and started to trace the intricate carvings on the stone walls Mrs Grinwald frowned at her and she ran back into the mob blushing she found Albus and sighed "Dad's going to kill me if I'm not in gryffindor'" She had been worriying about the sorting ceremony all summer her Mum didn't care if she got Ravenclaw or Gryfindor but her dad had made it clear that he would nearly disown her if she was in any house except for Gryfindor she sighed and walked into the Great hall with the rest of the first years her eyes flicked upwards towards the painted nights sky she smiled and sat at the first year benches trying to persuade herself that she was defenitley a Gryfindor.

"Holy Cow!" Robert exclaimed as they went into the great hall. "Floating candles!? This place is so freaking cool." He looked around as the large tables, "So what is this place? is this where we come to eat?" He scratched his jaw, "Do we just sit any where?" He looked at the Ravenclaw banner, "Oh thats pretty nifty, what are the huge flags for?"

The hat belted out, and everyone applauded loudly, some even whistled. Professor Grinwald smiled, silencing the kids as she called out the first name.


"Abbot, Sheryl." Professor Grinwald called out, and a short blonde haired girl with large blue eyes, and a round chubby face stepped forward sitting shakily on the stool. Professor Grinwald put the hat over the little girl's head and waited for the Hat's decision. "HUFFLEPUFF!" He yelled immediately. The Hufflepuff table erupted into cheers welcoming the newest member to their House with hugs, and yells of happiness.

"Oh so thats how the tables work, ok. So we just sit there, and a talking hat tells us where to go. This isn't crazy." He scratched his jaw, "Well this ought to be exciting." Robert anxiously waited for his turn, curious as to what the different houses meant.

Rose sat with her hands on her lap next to Albus she calmed herself by counting his breaths 1-2-1-2 the rhythm kept going her heartbeats getting quicker by the second she looked around at the great hall wishing for a sign or anything she looked up at the sorting hat as it yelled out "Potter,Albus,"

Alissa smiles a bit and giggles softly as the hat finishes it's song. "I wonder how many Ravenclaws we'll get." She said to Garrett who had his eye on his sister. "Who knows..." He said while clapping kindly for the first girl.


Rebecca smiles a bit as she watches the first girl go. "Is it by last names or just by status? I wonder... Oh well." She said with a small grin while waiting for her turn.

Daku waiting patiently while looking at the other students, really wishing that he got to see one of them eaten by the giant squid when his name was called. "Addams, Daku." He skipped up to the stoll and sat down.

Professor Grinwald smiled politely at Daku slipping the Hat onto his head and stepping back. "Well you're a fairly simple one to figure out." The Sorting Hat said so only Daku could hear. "SLYTHERIN!" Professor Grinwald took the hat off of Daku's head and gestured him over to the roaring cheers of the Slytherin table.

Daku smiles a bit as he heads over to the Slytherin table and sits down with the others there.

Robert watched in awe as the kids were sorted by the talking hat, "This place is CRAZY. My parents wont believe any of this when I tell them all of this in the letters." Robert grinned realizing he should be sorted fairly quickly since his last name was Compton.
