Possible Backstory/Setting
"As the sun rises over the ancient turrets of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, its warm rays illuminate the swirling mist that clings to the lake, casting a golden hue across the grounds. Yet, shadows loom over the hallowed halls as the specter of conflict and uncertainty threatens the fragile peace within this sanctuary of magic.

It is the year 1997, and the wizarding world stands at a crossroads. Tensions have reached a crescendo as Lord Voldemort gathers his forces, an ominous harbinger of the storm that is to come. Under the watchful eyes of the Ministry of Magic, the once vibrant halls of Hogwarts are cloaked in an atmosphere of unease. Anti-Muggle sentiments swell, and dark whispers fill the air as old alliances fray and loyalties are put to the test.

Hogwarts has always been a place of refuge, a bastion of knowledge and camaraderie where young witches and wizards hone their skills in the arcane arts. The four Houses—Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin—each offer their own heritage and values, creating a tapestry of diverse cultures and philosophies. But even within these walls, the influence of the growing darkness can be felt. Old rivalries are resurfacing; friendships are strained; and the very essence of bravery is being challenged as students choose sides in a war that many wish to ignore.

Professor McGonagall, the interim Headmistress, has taken up the mantle with unwavering determination. The portrait of Albus Dumbledore watches over her, guiding her spirit in times of unrest. She understands that Hogwarts is not merely a school; it is a heritage of dreams, friendships, and hard-won victories. As such, it is her duty to protect its legacy and inspire her students to stand against fear and intolerance. Personality: Cora was once a proud and arrogant creature, as that is how her parents raised her to be. However over time those qualities began to fade and she became a more well rounded witch. She had learned how to carry herself with pride, but not arrogance, and once she started her own business she had her own money to be proud of. Now Cora is a bit more reserved in her nature, quite different than the wild side she let out within the halls of Hogwarts. Now it seemed as if her time to relax and have fun was over, now she was driven and focused on her work, sometimes coming off as cold to other shop owners. Yet when Mara was with customers she knows how to charm them to sell her products, using the cunning Slytherin nature to her advantage.
Background: The Wyverne family were well known business men and women within the wizarding world and Cora was eager to follow in their footsteps. Throughout her schooling in Hogwarts the Slytherin honed in on her potion making skills and it truly seemed second nature to her. Making potions was always there for her. After graduation she threw herself into her work, selling her potions and saving up her own money to buy a shop within Diagon Alley, excited to own one alongside her beloved Fred. Alongside her store the female is still looking for opportunities to play Quidditch, even in a semi-professional league.
Love interest: There was just something about Fred Weasley that drew the cold hearted Slytherin towards him. The two were in fact the unlikeliest of friends, yet the two somehow had a bond no one could deny. Yet overtime Cora found herself longing for much more than a friendship from the Weasley.

Due to the Malfoy lineage he had been raised to feel as if he were better than everyone different from him and practically anyone around him. Because of this he only surrounds themselves with those who he deems worthy or those he finds will be easy to manipulate like Crab and Goyle. Yet some of his more positive traits are his intelligence, his natural born talent, and his drive to become the best wizard he can be. Draco is often working so hard to not only to prove to his parents but to himself as well that he deserves everything that had been handed down to him. Deep down within Malfoy's cold exterior there is a normal man, longing for love and battling his own insecurities.
Love interest: Although he has never made a move on it, Elara Winthrop is the only woman he deems worthy enough to keep by his side.
