are you serious rn

"That was one time! One! The only only time we've ever talked!" Robin, having realized running away was not going to happen, relaxed, tensed up again, and decided to yell at the kid (who was like six feet tall but whatever right) because yelling is one of her favorite things to do, apparently. "You know, you could at least have some kind of sympathy! I smelled really gross the entire night. And now my feet hurt and I'm a fashion fiasco on my first day of school and-"

Robin finally noticed the short guy- okay, well, he was almost as tall as her without her heels, but he was kind of adorable so, like, he looked pretty short from where she was standing, and smiled. "Good moring!" she said to him, before turning and continuing to complain angrily to the boy with hair in his eyes.

He watched as this red-haired girl, whom he remembered seeing from last night, yell very passionately at Dai. Takehiro knew this was a big fight waiting to happen, and being more of a softer guy he was trying to come up with ways to prevent it. Then, he heard a sudden "Good morning" from the girl. Takehiro jumped from his seat a bit from surprise and turned to face her, putting on a nervous smile "Oh, goo-good morning!" he replied, returning the greeting.

(( also yes I'm 99.9999% serious about doing it))

Dai couldn't help but snicker at the girl's outburst. It was always amusing to see people stressed out for him. "Sympathy? It's what's that?" He smiled, though he was getting quite annoyed about how much he is talking. But he just laughed and said "Hah that's even better...and I thought this wimp was an idiot" Then he watched how her attitude cjanged completely to Takehiro and mumbled under his breath "Hmph two faced"

[bagel literally what the heck]

Robin had totally heard the comment Dai had muttered under his breath and honestly had no idea what "two faced" was supposed to mean. She only had one face. It was now on her list of what were most likely idioms that she would Google and vow to never use ever, and she was going to have to harp on the things he said before that.

"Okay. Alright! I'll admit. Falling into a trash bin was pretty lame. But wimp? And I'm not going to be called an idiot by someone who wears something that informal to school! Not that it doesn't look good, but school isn't the occasion, you brat!"

Then Robin realized that people would be coming in pretty soon- why weren't there any people in this cafeteria anyway, seriously- and thought hey, I should probably stop now. She sighed.

"So, anyway, what's good to eat here?" She asked, turning to the person she sort of noticed had greeted her back and was more likely to respond to her.

"Well, there's some eggs...and cereal...bagels..the usual high school stuff, yeah?" He started fidgeting around, adjusting his seating position over and over again. The situation was already kind of awkward, and she's...a tad bit intimidating. Takehiro's just nervous around new people, especially from ones that pick a fight on their friend...not that it mattered too much, anyway. It seemed like Dai always picked a fight with everybody he made contact with, but he wasn't going to tell him that. Also, he just noticed no one else is in this cafeteria. What's with that?

Dai glared at the girl, not even jokely anymore. His temper was slowly fading. "Well, it's not my fault that these are the only clothes I own!! It's not like I'm some rich kid who can get anything they want with no effort!" He said, almost yelling "Whatever I don't care..." He said, calming down a minute later. He also took a notice that they were the only people there. Just then he heard footsteps coming towards them.

"...oh." Was all Robin could say. Bagels sounded really good, but now she was kind of like, eh, because she had actually said something pretty mean to this kid and was now super embarrassed. He was also spot on with the rich kid part, not that she would tell anyone, and frankly the only reason she didn't just threaten to drag him to the nearest outlet mall and physically force him into something more demure is that she'd literally only known him for a day and that'd be creepy. So all she did was muttter "sorry, then" awkwardly. And then she completely ignored the fact that he had said anything to cause her to feel anything, stretching out her fingers in front of her and wondering out loud if they had cream cheese, because Robin is a slither-outerer and likes to outwardly pretend some things never happened until she's alone and can writhe in pain.

[iIII D ID IT GUYS. I REPLIED. I'M SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG]

Takehiro was in a tight spot. And by that it literally meant he was trapped between Dai and the red-headed girl. The atmosphere was so tense and awkward, silence in the air. He breathed a little shakily and started fiddling with his cow-licks, trying to ease himself, but then quickly realizing he had never introduced himself to the girl. Takehiro suddenly shot up from his seat and raised out his hand, inviting her to a handshake, forming a smile. "Name's Takehiro, what's yours?" (srry so short im so lazy todayyyyyy)

is it aris turn i think it's ari's turn, wake up aririca

"I'm Robin! Nice to meet you." She said, grasping his hand. Bless him. Bless this boy.

Also, was everyone's name Japanese? Angry tall guy over there's name must be, like, Chiaki or something.

"Yes," Takehiro replied, "I'm actually a weeb."

He then proceeded to rip off his disguise. He was actually Obama.

(( okay im just going to advance the story bc PLS we'll be stuck in cafeteria limbo also i talked w ari and she knows what we're gonna do next so im just going to stick to her plan if that's okay w u gilbert. basically im going to have us run into dark scary dude from the night before))

Takehiro smilied at her. She was so friendly..!! Except, not when she was fighting with Dai, and vice-versa for that matter.

The bell that signified that class was starting soon rang, annoying metallic ringing noises echoing throughout the building. Takehiro thought this was perfect to break up this cat fight between his two friends (really Takehiro just considers every nice person his friend), and ushered them towards the cafeteria doors. "W-Well, class is starting soon and we don't want to be late, right?" he cracked a smile, even though the his two friends were ready to go for round 2. As he pushed the doors opened, he suddenly bumped into someone. Why would someone try to enter the cafeteria at this time? Shouldn't they go to class?

"Oh, I'm sorry..! I should really watch where I'm going, and--" he stopped abruptly as he noticed just who he had run into. Fearfully, he shuffled back away from the person. "U-Uh, do you need anything from me?" the tanuki shakily said in a small voice.

The man that Takehiro ran into looked a lot like the mysterious man from the previous night. He smirked "Well, that was easier than I thought it would be. Now if you want to cause less trouble for both of us you would come with me.." He said, not really giving him another option

Meanwhile, Dai heard Takehiro's request and huffed
"Fine, I don't want to waste another breath on her," he said. As he walked he saw that he stopped and that person that he remembered "Hey I remember you, you were that creepy guy from last night! What the hell are you doing here?!"

She smiled back at Takehiro, and after his comment about class, she swore under her breath.

"I'm going to ignore that." She said in an aside to Dai. She had already pushed her screw up into the darkest recesses of her mind, because class was starting soon. She never got her bagel.

Annnnd woah. A wild, suspicious man approaches! Suspicious because he didn't look like a student and her two (?) new companions did not seem to like him at all. After Dai's "creepy guy from last night" comment, she was on edge. What could she grab to hit him over the head? If he tried to hurt Takehiro she would literally kick his ass.

Takehiro didn't know what to do, but he sure didn't want to follow along with this man. He didn't want his friends to be put into trouble because of himself. Mustering up some courage, he put on a stern expression (except takehiro has major baby face going on so it's not really intimidating) and faced the man. "Hey...I..I don't know just what you have in mind, but you better not come any closer..! A-And..yeah!" Although he did his best to make himself sound confident, it was obvious that he was very anxious.

robin's flower eyeball popped out and smashed everything. it ate the scary man. she gained sixty years to her life

tBH THAT'S NOT A BAD IDEA

GUYS I KNOW WHAT THE FLOWER IS FOR NOT EVEN KIDDING

The man stopped, as if he was intimidated by Takehiro's words. "Hm...interesting, it would have worked..." He steps closer, "If you actually had strength in the first place. Now, if you don't want to cause trouble for your little friends over there, I mean I am going get my way one way or another, but I'm actually giving you a chance..."

Takehiro just simply looked at him, a bit bewildered. Did he actually...manage to intimidate him a little..? Then he noticed that the man stepped closer. Takehiro took this as a cue to step back as well, tensing up. "L-Look, I don't know what your intentions are, but you say now you're..giving me a chance..? What are you up to, huh...?" Was this man crazy? Why doesn't he just catch him right there and right now? It was the perfect opportunity to do so! Takehiro shook his head. No no, I need to get myself together. He looks back at his friends and a look of grimace fell upon him. Why is he chasing after me? Does he know I'm a tanuki?! ((this was kinda rushed srry))

So at this point, Robin was like, oh my god. Something was going down. Takehiro was acting really nervous, Dai was being more gross than before, and more obviously, threats. "Cause trouble for your little friends?" Ahoy, douchebag on the horizon! That wasn't good.

"Hey, Scarface, you're in our way! Class is starting. God knows if this guy doesn't go, they'll kick him out for lack of attendance or something." she shouted at the man, glaring and jabbing her thumb in Dai's direction. She actually had no idea whether or not he skipped class or not, but she really wanted to insult him before they were all shot to death by a gang of angry men who threatened cute boys. Not that that was going to happen to Takehiro, of course. [same]
