Sora stood outside a newly renovated estate, that overnight had been turned from a mere shack in the woods to this castle. He owed this to the Gremory who had done this for him once they learned he was being given a territory in the human world to look after. It wasn't just any territory but a supernatural hotspot, he was given the duty to look after Kyoto. He had already spoken with various groups within the city angels and fallen angels that were stationed here as well as the resident yokai including the famous Nurairyhyon Clan and the 100 Demon Night Parade of Yokai. Little did he know what was too come concerning the yokai.

Clair sat inside the 'castle' , or more accurately inside the library, organizing the books she had transferred from her family's library. Clair happily worked away by herself , in fact she preferred it this way when it came to the task at hand.


Once she had finished her task she lay back in one of the chairs and smiled "now this is something i can work with". After taking a few minutes to inspect her work she made her way outside , it was about time for Sora to arrive anyway. Clair stood at the door for what must of been five minutes before Sora actually arrived , she stood up firmly with a smile on her face "well , what do you think of the place ?"

"Well glad they didn't erect a castle in the middle of Kyoto like they wanted to. Instead they gave us something just right. According to the plans they may have went overboard on the underground sections. Because I am pretty sure we have atleast three basements." Sora replied. "But nothing is bigger than the responsibility, to know that I am responsibile for one of the most important locations on Earth. It's a bit overwhelming."

Clair laughed when Sora mentioned the basement levels , she still couldn't understand why he would turn down the offer of the castle in the first place but hey it was his territory right. "this is what you've worked so hard for , i'm actually quite proud. I knew you had it in you".


Clair smiled and held both her hands behind her back in a polite manner "well then do you want to explore?" @Raikou Kaminari

"Yeah maybe we can have a look around time for some good candidiates for reincarnation. Afterall I do need to build up my peerage." Sora replied. "We can visit that fox youkai village in town, maybe one of the temples that have omniyoji, or we can go visit the Nurarihyon and the 100 Demon Night Parade. The ayakashi are really an interesting bunch."

"hmm that's a hard one , you decide your the king piece" Clair honestly didn't know where to start , this city was completely new to her. Clair had only been on the estate for about two hours now and so she barely even knew her way around it let alone the city.


"Just know that you will be required to submit a report later this evening regarding the area"

"I know, I know. But we must first find something to report. Let's go see the Nurarihyon and their 100 Demon Night Parade." Sora said. He let out his devil wings and flew in the air and veered on a course to the Nurarihyon Yakuza as they are called nowadays.

Clair smiled and took off after him with great speed. This day was defiantly going to be worth recording as it was the first day Clair had been let free within the earth realm , this parade thing truly did sound interesting.

As they landed outside the Nurarihyon Estate, Sora elaborated more about them. "The 100 Demon Night Parade is a form of Subordination Manipulation used by high class Ayakashi. It's similar to the Evil Piece and Brave Saint systems accept it doesn't have a reincarnation system and they can have 100 Ayakashi in their Night Parade at a time."


Sora then knocked on the door to the Estate and announced himself. "It's Sora Natsume along with my [Queen] Clair Gremory. Just visiting, no actual business, that we know of at least." The door then opened granting them entry in their grazzy courtyard with a pond to one side under a cherry blossom tree that never went bare. On the steps to the house stood the most recent Head of the Clan Yoshimori Nurarihyon. "Just in time we do have some business that you don't know of yet." he said in a relaxed tone. He motioned for them to follow him inside.

Clair landed softly and immediately began taking in the view , it was quite awe inspiring the place was absolutely beautiful and well took after.The pond and tree in particular caught her attention "you see Sora i told you the estate was to small but of course you had to insist on its current size , honestly!". Clair continued on behind the two keeping her hands held behind her back "so Mr. Nurarihyon , what business would you be talking about ?"

Sora had nothing to say to Clair, she was right this time. Yoshimori waited till they were seated at a small table normally for drinking tea before beginning. "A rival Night Parade is coming to Kyoto looking to take it over from the Nurarihyon Yakuza. The infamous Gitsune Clan, our long time rivals and long time fans of devouring humans by the hundreds." Yoshirmori said laying it all on them without subtlety. "This may get ugly, and it's rumored the Gitsune aren't working alone this time. So I thought maybe I shouldn't tackle this one on my own."


Sora seemed alarmed but said "I'll need to make a few calls but likely I will be able to help you out. Maybe I could get the Yokai village and resident Three Great Faction forces to lend aid as well."

Clair sat politely at the small table and payed close attention to what was being said , it hadn't even been a day and here they were presented with a problem already. The Gitsune , Clair had seen that name somewhere before in fact she was sure it was recorded in her Grimoire somewhere. This of course only made Clair more worried as nothing nice was recorded in her Grimoire. "the way you say they aren't working alone leads me to believe you have some intel regarding the matter of whom it may be".

Same old same old. Today was nothing different for Itsuki. Go to the shop, walk through the park, look at the sky. Think about what he could do and then write them off as stupid or dangerous. Same old routine. Itsuki had just got through that thinking stage and was now simply walking around bored. Again. Letting out a sigh, Itsuki was taking his normal route home. The same old path. The same old background. Yawning, the male turned a corner and continued in silence until he felt something...strange. He couldn't put his finger on it...but it was different. The boy stood there for a few minutes, pondering over what it was before shacking his head and continuing a few steps. That's when things got strange. Strange is in weird. Weird as in not normal. Not normal as in "Not human..."

Levi walked into the room not saying a word untill she reached Sora and said "sorry i'm late had some business to finish off but i was lucky to get here in time" after she was explaining why she was late she leaned against the wall with a grin on her face

Yoshimori Nurarihyon replied "We have identified several sacred gear users among them but they were under some form of mind control, the magic did not match the Ayakashi. Although its not uncommon for one race to learn the magic of another but the formula when stripped down seemingly comprised of many different circles. We believe they may have magicians aiding them."


Then Levi walked in and Sora was about to say something about her lateness until one of Yoshimori's Ayakashi appeared. "Master Yoshimori, Gitsune clan on the move they are circling a human likely unaware sacred gear user." Yoshimori stood up, "Well then lets make it our goal to capture those ayakashi and save the human." Sora stood up as well. "We'll do this together." Yoshimori nodded and then gestured for his guide to lead them to the scene.

Meanwhile, two ayakashi hiding in the trees waited until it seemed their prey picked up on them. They then leapt out of their cover blocking both ways to prevent their prey's escape. "We'll give you one chance to go easy before we have to rip off your arms and legs, and have to put them back on painfully later." one of them said.

levi looked up at Sora and said "is he impotent master is this person worth saving i mean with no disrespect master" with a angry look on her face as she was walking with the group

Clair was very interested when he mentioned the magic circles , she was about to ask for a copy of them when one of his Ayakashi appeared. The Ayakashi started blabbering on about a human in distress which really wasn't much of a problem to be honest , it was only when the Ayakashi mentioned the sacred gear that Clair was willing to be of any assistance and Sora agreeing to help with the case only reinforced her idea "Sora i firmly believe that the sacred gear should be extracted ,examined and put to better use"

 

[Vsland]

Itsuki blinked as the two creatures began to speak. "Uh..." The student know if this was for real or just a prank. Something like this could never happen anyway...right? Something told the male that it wasn't a prank though. "Go easy as in fight? No no no no...in the fight or flight situation...I always pick flight. Keeps me from having to change my routine. Like this. But it's only small...so please excuse me." Itsuki then tried to push past the first Ayakashi. He had no luck. He tried once more, only to get the same result. "Didn't I say please?"

 

[Field Marshall]

"Guys we are saving this person and definitely not extracting his gear, I expected better of a Gremory Clair. I say I might even recruit him, afterall its not like we have the luxury of passing up good candidates. The invading Ayakashi wouldn't be after him if he wasn't valuable." Sora explained as they flew behind Yoshimori and one of his ayakashi. Then the scene came into view of Itsuki and the two ayakashi.


The ayakashi replied to Itsuki "Well then glad we're in an agreement." The ayakashi picked up Itsuki by the throat and pulled back one arm seemingly prepared to impale Itsuki. But just in time Sora arrived and summoning a katana from a ninja scroll severed the arm while Yoshimori landed on top of the other Ayakashi pinning it beneath his foot. Blood spattered from the ayakashi that was holding Itsuki, it promptly released him. Sora caught Itsuki and pulled him back and called for Clair and Levi to finish off the wounded ayakashi.

levi pulled her blade out from behind and charged at one of them and cut him in half the she stood there thinking if she wants to save this person

 

[Uasal]

Clair exhaled sharply when Sora scolded her "fine do what you wish Sora however if this backfires....". Clair continued on behind him and landed at the scene softly hardly making a sound.


Once levi cut the the Ayakashi in half Clair clicked her fingers and obliterated it and then its partner.

 

[Vsland]

Wide eyed, Itsuki was lifted off the ground by his throat. What was with these people. How were they lifting him. Wait, this wasn't a prank after all. Dangling in the air he was lacking, he swung his legs to try and kick away from the creature. No such luck. Beginning to give up, the student closed his eyes and waited for his life to end. But then, he felt a liquid splash onto his face and...he could breathe again. Inhaling sharply, Itsuki stuck his tongue out to try and guess what the liquid was. As he realised what it was, his eyes shot open. "Gross." The male heaved as he realised he had just tasted the blood of someone other then himself. He wasn't a vampire! Nor was he some sort of demon! "This can't be happening. No...it can't be. It's...it's impossible!" Was there a bigger world out there that Itsuki had no idea of? If there was...then Itsuki felt...happy? No, wouldn't that feeling come from your chest and not your back? As soon as he noticed it, it stopped. "What the hell is going?!"

Yoshimori and his ayakashi disappeared taking along the one ayakashi they captured as the others took care of the other two ayakashi. Sora let go of th3 seemingly hyper ventilating human, as he figured as much the human would need time to process it. As the human demanded answers Sora made sure he was the first one to speak. "Do you really want to know right this moment or are you still in the process of accepting what just happened?" Sora asked.

Then another ayakashi touched down, this one seemed a little more elite than the minons that came before it. It was a tengu ayakashi and radiated a strong killing intent. "Clair, Levi, get on that." Sora ordered as he stepped in front of the human to shield him from the battle that was about to take place. The tengu removed his blade from its sheath and flapped his wings kicking up a gust of wind before saying "I can't let you steal precious equipmentment."
