High Tide

200 years ago, mankind had begun some exploration to the farthest reaches of the galaxy, to support their growing population of nearly 2 trillion. However, one particular vessel crashed into an ocean planet, losing all communication and leading to the deaths of 60% of the crew. The remaining survivors, having lost nearly everything, could do nothing but begin to build with the parts of the wreckage. They built walls around islands to shelter themselves from them, the large sea creatures that dominated the oceans.

Time has passed and the descendants of the original crash has gained quite a bit for themselves.  They have managed to make large airships which those descended from the scientists and nobility live in. The rest are living in fishing tribes near the ocean, who provide food for the entire population of 50,000 on the islands. Recently, a few of the humans have discovered metals in the islands, in abundance. Some others decided they are no longer going to put up with the monsters that have forced them to these floating graves, dooming them to nothing but a future of collecting fish until they died. Putting two and two together, a select few humans have been taking steel weapons and attempting to kill monsters. Many die each day, but each day is also one where they learn more about the monsters, their future, and their life.

This is one of the humanity's last stand RPs! Who's interested in getting eaten by a giant multi-tentacled seamonster?! If not, who wants to look badass trying to kill it?

@Shammy the Shamrock why didn't you tell me about this

Do the humans here, have any abnormalities

They're living on a planet with 80% of Earth's gravity. Their physical capabilities are above average by the physical strength needed fishing for 10-12 foot long catfish like organisms. They might be a bit abnormal in a way but no they don't have superpowers.

Hmm, But i was thinking more in the way of lung capacity

looks kind of cool, I'll read the lore you got before making expressing interest officially. Tag me when you've written up everything.
