"Hi big sister." Says Sasori running and giving her a hug.


"I have to get back to my meeting." Says Lucifer before disappearing.

 

[Spotine]

Karen waved goodbye to Lucifer and then hugged Sasori back. "Hello! Look, this is your little nephew." She said, gesturing to Yui.

 

[Krillin]

"He's so cute!" Says Sasori.

 

[Spotine]

"His name is Yui." Karen said, smiling down at her baby.

 

[Krillin]

"Well Yui is really cute." Says Sasori.

 

[Spotine]

Karen smiled at Sasori. "Yes he is. Right Kaneki?" She said.

 

[Krillin]

"Definitely." Says Kaneki putting his arm around his brother.

 

[Spotine]

Karen smiled back down at Yui. He moved his head in his sleep and made little gurgling noises. She leaned back on the hospital bed and closed her eyes, exhausted, but happy.

 

[Krillin]

"How old is he?" Asks Sasori.


"Like an hour old." Says Kaneki laughing.

 

[Spotine]

Karen drifted to sleep moments later, holding Yui in her arms.


Kyra looked at her sister and her child. "Adorable." She whispered as to not wake them."I should probably go, Ai can't take care of those kids for much longer." She said, giggling before waving goodbye.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki waves her goodbye as he and Sasori sit on the foot of the bed.

 

[Spotine]

Kyra left and headed home.


Karen continued to sleep, literally wiped out. A nurse came in. "Oh hello. I just need to take a few more tests on little Yui." The nurse said, giving a fake smile.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki shakes Karen as he nurse walks in.

 

[Spotine]

Karen mumbled and held the baby out to Kaneki.


Ai held her cheek in her hand. "I want you out of this house now and I never want to see you again." She said to Illidari in a dangerous yet calm tone. She fought back tears as her hand balled into a fist.

Kaneki takes Yui and hands him to the nurse.

 

[Spotine]

The nurse took Yui, continuing to smile. "Congratulations guys." She said before walking out with the baby.

 

[Krillin]

"Thanks." Said kaneki as she walked out.

 

[Spotine]

Karen yawned and shifted on the hospital bed. She opened her eyes slowly. "Hello..." Karen muttered, looking extremely tired.

 

[Krillin]

"Hey babe." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen sat up and stretched. "What time is it?" She asked.

 

[Krillin]

"Its like 7:30." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

"In the morning?" Karen asked, having concept of time at the moment.

 

[Krillin]

"No at night." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen rubbed her eyes and yawned again. "Meh..." She mumbled. The nurse came back with Yui. "Looks like mommy is awake!" The nurse said, continuing to smile. She handed Yui to Kaneki.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki holds Yui in his arms smiling as Sasori stares at Yui.
