[Krillin]

"I was going to say cream cheese frosting but buttercream is just as good." Says Kaneki smiling as he walks into the kitchen.

 

[Spotine]

Karen leaned back and took out her phone to call Kyra. Kyra answered.


"Hello? Karen! What's up?" Kyra asked.


"Well, the baby's coming soon... So I was wondering if you could give me any tips for baby products." Karen said.


"Sure!" Kyra said before starting to list off names of good products. She finished after a couple of minutes.


"Okay... Thanks!" Karen said. She put down the pen she had been using to write down all of the brands and products. Then she hung up. Karen stood up slowly and with much difficulty then went into the kitchen. "Kyra just helped me with stuff for the baby. You almost done with the cake?" She asked.

 

[Krillin]

"It should be done here soon." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen leaned against the kitchen counter. "Good. I could use an energy boost... Walking from the couch to the kitchen is tiring!" She said, only partially joking.

 

[Krillin]

"Close your eyes." Says Kaneki smiling.

 

[Spotine]

"I don't trust you." Karen said, smirking. She closed her eyes anyway.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki puts a slice of cake on a plate with a couple scoops of ice cream on the side and holds it out. "Open." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen opened her eyes and stared at the cake and ice cream. Her face lit up like a child on christmas. "Thank you babe!" She said happily, grabbing the plate.

 

[Krillin]

"Your welcome. Now please dont eat to much because I love red velvet cake and I dont want them to end up like waffles." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

"Never speak of waffles in this house." Karen said, her eyes narrowing. She went back to eating the cake. "But don't worry, I love cake too much for them to turn out like that dreaded breakfast item." Karen said, taking a bite.

 

[Krillin]

"I still love waffles." Thinks Kaneki. "Good." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen finished the slice of cake and started to eat the ice cream. She had frosting all over her face, but couldn't care less.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki smiles and wipes the frosting off her face.

 

[Spotine]

Karen looked up at Kaneki and smiled kindly. She kissed him quickly before going back to eating.

 

[Krillin]

"I love you more than you love cake." Says Kaneki laughing.

 

[Spotine]

Karen giggled. "You must love me a lot!" She said, smiling as she finished the food.

 

[Krillin]

"I do." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen set her plate in the sink. "I think you already know how much I love you."

 

[Krillin]

"Yes I definitely do." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen kissed Kaneki's cheek and then supported her back with her hands. "I'm going to go take a shower. I feel like crap." She said.

 

[Krillin]

"Alright." Says Kaneki as Tucker walks into the kitchen.


"Me and Morgan will be busy for a little bit. We will be um playing chess or something." Says Tucker walking into his room.


"My god Tucker." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen heard what Tucker said and rolled her eyes. She ignored it and went into the bathroom. After turning the water on so that it was scalding hot, Karen stepped in and started to wash her hair. After her 30 minute shower, Karen dried off and put on a robe. Then she walked out of the bathroom, yawning. "What time is it?" Karen wondered aloud.

 

[Krillin]

"About nine thirty." Says Kaneki hugging her.

 

[Spotine]

Karen jumped, not realising Kaneki was there. She then hugged him back. "Okay... So that gives me time to make out with you before I fall asleep..." Karen said. "Wait what!?" Karen shouted, backing away from Kaneki. "I didn't mean to say that out loud!" She said, blushing bright red.

 

[Krillin]

"Well if thats your plan I wont resist." Says Kaneki smiling.
