Kaneki gets out of bed and sees 2 large black cars outside. Kaneki gets dressed and walks to the door and lets 4 men in suits into his house and they all sit down at the table. "Hello Mr. Suho." Says one of the men.


"What now Chi?" Asks Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

(The next day) Karen got up to see that Kaneki wasn't there. She got dressed and went downstairs. She saw him and a bunch of men in suits sitting at a table. Karen backed up and went back upstairs, not wanting to bother him.

 

[Krillin]

"Well we came to tell you that we will be giving you and your brother a personal bodyguard due to the recent attack." Says another one of the men.


"No I don't want a bodyguard." Says Kaneki stubbornly.


"You have no choice Mr. Suho." Says Chi.

 

[Spotine]

Karen bit her lips, listening to their conversation. She felt bad for eavesdropping. "Bodyguard? Attack?" Karen thought, confused.

 

[Krillin]

"If you wish we can also give your wife around the corner a bodyguard as well." Says Chi.


"She's not my wife." Says Kaneki. Another man in a suit walks over to Karen. "Mrs. Suho you can join us if you wish." Says the man.

 

[Spotine]

Karen squealed when a man in a suit came over to her. She backed away, eyes wide. Karen bit her lip. "Kaneki's gonna kill me for eavesdropping!" She thought. "I-I'm n-not his wife..." Karen stuttered.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki walks over to Karen. "I'm really sorry about him he has absolutely no social skills." Says Kaneki glaring at the man.


"I am so sorry Mr. Suho and to you to Miss." Says the man returning to his seat.

 

[Spotine]

Karen clasped her hands behind her back, still staring at the men. "I-I'm gonna g-go..." She said backing away.

 

[Krillin]

"You see what you guys did, you scared her." Says Kaneki glaring at the entire table of men. All of the men stand up and bow to Kaneki and Karen.

 

[Spotine]

Karen stared at the men, purse in her hand like she was ready to defend herself. "It's okay Kaneki... I'll see you later..." She said reaching towards the door.

 

[Krillin]

"Just wait until I tell Sasori what you guys did." Says Kaneki. All of the men stare at him in horror. "Please don't tell him Mr. Suho." Says Chi. "Well you shouldn't have scared away my girlfriend." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

Karen stepped outside, the last thing she heard being Kaneki calling her his girlfriend. She smiled, even though she knew they were dating, it felt nice for him to call her his girlfriend. Karen walked down the street, swinging her purse at her side and humming.

 

[Krillin]

"Fine you can give me and my brother a bodyguard. But they have to stay out of sight." Says Kaneki as the men get in there car and drive out of his driveway. They stop the car and all 4 of the men each give Karen a box of chocolate and continue driving.

 

[Spotine]

Karen was walking along the sidewalk when she noticed a black car stop beside her. "What the...?" She muttered as 4 men stepped out and handed her choclolate. "What's this for?" Karen asked, but they had already driven off. Trying to hold the chocolate boxes, she took out her phone and called Kaneki. "Kaneki?"

 

[Krillin]

"Yeah what's up?" Asks Kaneki answering his phone.

 

[Spotine]

"Well those men at your house just pulled over and gave me chocolate. What the hell?" Karen said calmly.

 

[Krillin]

"That's there way of saying sorry. Like I said they have no social skills." Says Kaneki.

 

[Spotine]

"Well okay then." Karen paused, looking at the chocolate. "I'll see you later." She said before hanging up. She continued down the sidewalk to her hotel room. Compared to Kaneki's house, she felt cramped in the hotel room. Karen laid down on her bed and looked at the ceiling. Suddenly Karen realized what had happened in the last two days: She came from Africa, got a boyfriend, and was given a crap ton of chocolate for no reason.

 

[Krillin]

Kaneki goes and wakes up Sasori. "Hey big brother." Says Sasori yawning.


"Hey Chi came over and now we have bodyguards like we used to." Says Kaneki.


"Oh okay." Says Sasori barely awake.

 

[Spotine]

Karen sighed and rolled over, taking out her phone. She called Kyra. "Hello dear sister."


Kyra heard her phone ring and answered it. "Hey Karen. What's up?" She asked, rocking Kira's carrier with her foot.


Karen sighed again. "Not much. Just wanted to talk."


Athena suddenly started crying. "Well, I can't talk. Athena is pissed for some reason." Kyra said, leaning over to pick up the baby.


"Okay can I come over later today?" Karen asked.


"Yeah sure. You can bring Kaneki or whatever his name was too." Kyra said, holding Athena and rocking Kira.


Karen laughed. "I don't know... I'll ask him. Hey, I'll let you deal with your screaming babies. See you."


"Seeya." Kyra said and both girls hung up.

 

[Krillin]

"Can we have waffles for breakfast?" Asks Sasori getting dressed.


"Sure." Says Kaneki walking into the kitchen and grabbing his ingredients.

 

[Spotine]

Karen sighed and looked at the ceiling. She realized that she sighed a lot. Karen sat up and got some nail polish out. When bored, paint your nails. She really wanted to call Kaneki, but she felt that would make her look clingy.

 

[Krillin]

Sasori walks into the kitchen and Kaneki hands him a plate with a waffle on it and a glass of milk. "I don't like milk." Says Sasori.


"Well if you want strong bones you have to drink milk." Says Kaneki.


"Fine whatever." Says Sasori sitting down and starting to eat.
