Kyra looked at her hands and messed with her nails. "Well... I went to the doctor the other day..." She paused, not knowing how to explain this. "Well Kiri, we're having twins." Kyra said. She waited for his reaction to this before she told him the rest of the message.

Kiri wouldn't be able to speak but his expression showed it all. Excitement overwhelmed him yet he still managed to ask. "Do you know the gender yet?" He'd say as he places a hand on her stomach.

Seeing Kiri's excitement about the twins made it harder for Kyra to say the next part. "Well, no not yet but... You see..." She teared up a bit as she said "the doctor says that one of the twins may not survive."

Kyra wiped tears from her face. "I-I don't know if you could... Save them..." She said sadly. She stood up and sniffed. "I'm gonna... Go..." Kyra said, running to the bedroom. Once there she slammed the door and burst into tears.
