Clraissa - Nice avvie! Thanks for sending samples from both genders, cool of you. In the second sample, does the main speak English as a first language?
Thank you! Yes, he does. (And excuse me in case I have some typos or mistakes, English is not my first language in rl, but I'm trying my best to improve it.) Thank you for your attention. (^.^)

I don't think I can work with that level of English at this point, unfortunately. Bah I know I'm the worst, sorry. >.< Keep it up you're doing awesome! Something you might consider is to have your characters intentionally speaking English as a second language, which would give their imperfect English a realistic edge, which would be cool. In the meantime you will improve and I worship you for being able to speak another language so well.

I can barely handle English, my brain explodes. xD

Best of luck! :*

So I am curios, does the writing sample need to be from an actual RP I've participated in

in the past?

Cutting into the middle of the scene. Here's a sample:

The smoke that never washes away. The smell of old junk and rust. The sounds of seedy men laughing and plotting. The taste of large credits passing from one man to another. It was home. And Katha wanted to destroy it. She walked through the streets with the easy gait of a powerful local and just a bit of stiffness to put a note of military background to anyone who may be watching her closely. Guises upon guises upon guises, Katha reveled in it all. This time, she was disguised as an imperial disguised as a powerful member of a cartel. It was the only way she could get what she needed.

Walking the streets, an officer of the cartel nodded at her direction and she nodded back. Quickly her head shuffled through which guise she used for him. Ah, yes. A contractor. Irrelevant to speak to him, then. Around her, she noticed some of the locals back off once they noticed her connection to someone powerful. Probably planning to steal from her. From the looks of it, they thought better. Which was good. She wanted to get everything over and done with. She had to get out of the planet as soon as she could.

She stepped into one of the bars--a hodge-podge of different species talked and shouted at each other endlessly from their gutteral languages to more common tongues. She bumped into a Trandoshan and they both stopped staring at each other, as if locked in a mental battle.

The alien warned her in his growling tongue, "Your stare tells me you want this room painted in your blood."

Katha lifted an eyebrow. Trandoshan and not another of his kind in sight. Alone and friendless. Without warning, she lashed out at his unprotected neck breaking it in one stroke. "Never call me soft."

The patrons of the bar stopped a moment at the scene and after a few heartbeats went back to what they were doing. A common occurrence, of course. Most were probably just noticing in the event that it would grow to be a full-blown fight. It was always wise to be quick and hide. Bar fights were notorious for the death of more than the combatants.

"Kylla!" The thick bartender boomed catching Katha's attention. "He hasn't paid yet."

Katha walked up to him shrugging. "Better him dead than we start a fight. That always costs more."

"True, but the least you could do is raid him for credits." He looked over her shoulder and shook his head. "Never mind. Too late. So what are you having."

"The usual," Katha said. "But surprise me a bit."

The bartender grunted getting her meaning. She wasn't really there for drinks and a chat. He came back with a dark liquid looking much stronger and smelling worse than it looked and she proceeded to drink it, feeling a small round ball included in her drink. Quickly, she swallowed it before her drink was gone. She winced giving an exaggerated sigh, hammering the mug down on the dusty counter. Once she was in a safe place she was going to regurgitate it. For the meantime, she had to pretend that nothing was out of the ordinary.

"Hey," she called to the bartender. "Anyone here you can recommend for a ride? A fast one."

Hello :) I see that you're into detailed roleplaying. I'm not sure if you're still looking, but if you are, I would love to enjoy some beautiful worlds with you. I love creating plots with my partners, and your genres meet up well with my own. I can play both male and female, and I feel comfortable with both. Oftentimes, I match the post length of my partner so that it isn't too over balanced one way or the other. You can find my sample below.

She did not run without chase. Through the silence of the morning, she could hear the sounds of cursing behind her. Their legs cut through tall grass and small bushes easily. They just had to catch her to make her pay for what she had done. It mattered not the fact that they had thrown stones, or that they called her mother a harlot. The only wrongs they saw were her own, and she didn’t want to find out what kind of punishment was in store for her.

As she ran, the cool air refreshed her lungs for the first few moments. Then slowly, with every gasping breath Jacqueline had to take, it began to burn her insides. Even though she was smaller than they were, she kept a good pace ahead of them. The girls were unfit and unable to run through certain stretches of foliage that blocked the road in some places. Their dresses made it hard to really stretch their legs and bound after her, and soon, they fell farther and farther behind.

Jacqueline didn’t notice that. She only noticed the exhilarating feeling that ballooned out from her sore lungs as she ran. So, she kept running until her legs felt like jelly beneath her and her energy was spent. She had resigned to her fate. She stood, with her hands on her knees. The sound of birds chirping was ever present, and had seemed to grow louder as she had run. Only now did she realize that there were no harsh footsteps running after her. There was no screaming or yelling. There was only her.

Picking herself up, Jacqueline looked around. She was not faced with a simple clearing. No—trees towered over her on all sides; they hid most of the sunlight. The feeling of dread overtook her, and she could feel her stomach twisting in knots. Where was she? She looked around, but there was no sign of the girls anywhere, and there seemed to be nothing to point her in the direction she needed to go.

No. This wasn’t happening to her. No.No.No! She turned in slow circles; her mind filled with panic. She didn’t know what to do. Her breathing grew heavier, and as she watched the trees. No! The birds weren’t phased by her fear. Every sound of a cracking branch or rustling leaves sent her mind into a cyclone of turmoil. Please God no! What monsters stood behind the veil of darkness that the forest provided? She really didn’t want to find out.

She turned in one direction and tried to see the sun. If she had been paying attention, she could have used its location to tell her which way the village was. It only rose and fell from one point every day. That could be her way back! She had a ray of hope now, and she followed it from where she thought the sun was in the sky.

Jacqueline walked for quite a long time. She looked at trees as she went, trying to remember if they looked familiar as she had ran past them before. She hadn’t been running that long, so she knew she couldn’t have been far…Right? She had been walking a long time. She had no way of telling exactly, but she could guess that her feet had carried her for a couple hours.

She could see ahead a large burst of sunlight through the trees. Had she finally stumbled upon the edge of the village? Would she be able to return home? It was natural for her legs to begin moving faster and faster as she neared it. She was getting excited. She knew that bright light was her ticket out of this damned forest.

Pushing herself through the branches of a bush on the edge of the brightness, Jacqueline found herself facing a clearing. It wasn’t large enough for her village to be nestled between the trees. She let out a quiet cry; this was hopeless.

She could feel the tears welling up in her light brown eyes; they were the color of the mud that squished out from beneath her shoe as she slammed her foot into the ground. The vision of the clearing blurred until there was nothing left but splotches of color.

“This is hopeless” This was the first time Jacqueline had spoken since she had been trying to find her way out of this godforsaken forest. She took in a large gulp of air and walked a few more paces before sitting down where she thought it would be dry. She had no other options. She was exhausted from the walk, emotionally shot, and there was no way the earthen spirits would be leading her out of this death trap—they would have done it already.

So instead of continuing forward, she pulled her knees up to her chest, and rested her head on them. The sunlight was warm on her back. She didn’t know what else to do. She just let the tears fall from her cheeks onto the deep green fabric she wore. She cried until her face and eyes were red and there was nothing left to cry out of her.

She prayed silently to the gods as she rocked back and forth. She was sure that something would come along soon to take her away and eat her; she had heard the stories just as the others had. There were awful things in these woods. She couldn’t chock them up to being lies—even though she had seen no creatures herself—because she had seen the tracks of many a different animal as she walked before. Not all of them she could recognize. They had to have been those of the monsters that would attack her as soon as her guard was down. So, she let her guard down and accepted the inevitable.
If you are interested, I'm just a PM away.

Hey, your ideas actually sound quite phenomenal. I'm particularly keen for the time-travelling one; it sounds like a hell of a good time :P If you're still looking for a potential partner, I'd definitely be interested :) Either way, good luck in your search!

Hello! I would like to try out that dimension warping idea you had. I can already tell that we'll have fun together! (^U^)

If you're not completely overwhelmed I'd be willing to brainstorm. I've been looking for as many people as possible who are way better than me for the purpose of challenging myself, and I do believe you're one of them! I can't guarantee much more than one reply per day, so if that isn't a problem and you'd still be interested in a writing sample please feel free to PM me :)

Hey, if you're still looking for a partner I would definitely be interested! All your roleplay interests sound super exciting and fun. :) I've been roleplaying for a few years now and I'd love to branch out and try new things. Let me know.

Hey, kind of new here and not really sure of the etiquette. I'd be interested in discussing a new roleplay with you though, if you are still looking for a partner.
