Realistic or Modern HiddenHill Summer Camp

"Wow, this is much better than the other one." With that he didn't wait for the girls, running straight into the lake. "It's just a tad bit cold, but still nice." Salem looked around, awestruck at the beauty. Then he looked at both the girls, and made a new opinion about Skye. She wasn't mean, just brutally honest to say the least. He ended his little stare by laying on his back in the lake, awaiting the girls.

(( xD brutally honest))

"Better than the other lake, huh?" Skye walked up the short hill to the tiny creek. She sat down and pushed herself down the waterfall using it as it slide. She crossed her arms and legs like it was a real slide. She dropped down pretty rapidly. "Whooooo!" Skye said as she entered the lake.

((I thought it was quite clever :P ))

Salem watched her go down, quite impressed considering he wouldn't do it. He laid back, drifting close to where she dived in and awaited for her to come up.

Alex got up seeing Salem was gone. She got worried. Did she make him run off? She looked in the truck and saw his shirt. Then she walked to the lake. She looked at him and the girls and grew jealous for a bit. Where they over just from one confused conflict? Salem obviously assumes to much.

Skylar soon floated back up to the surface. Skye laughed, "That was amazing, I can't believe I actually had the fricken guts to do that," Skylar sighed and floated on her back. She giggled as the fish tickled her legs. She smiled sweetly at Salem. "This lake is way better than the other one," she giggled.

Salem smiled back to Skye and then looked back to Lynnie, beckoning her to come in. That's when he saw Alex and his face went grave, but he needed to clear the air with her anyways. "Alex!? Is that you? Did you come all the way out here just to find me?" It was a sweet effort on her part, but does that mean she still has feelings. Salem almost ducked down in the water, not to sure what to do in this situation. He may act cool around girls, but when it came to actually having them well he didn't have any experience.

Skye looked awkwardly at Salem. She might've just developed feelings for him right here when his....... Girlfriend walked in. How did she even find this hidden lake?!

Alex smiled. She walked to the shore her feet in the water. "Yea well a worried girlfriend isn't a good thing huh?" She yelled out to him. "Hey um Salem about before I'm not mad your not use to this relationship thing and neither am i. So we can work this out. And get through this together. " Alex yelled to him with a smile.

"Uhmmm... How did you even find this hidden lake, Alex?" Skye asked. She felt REALLY uncomfortable. She just developed a crush on him when his girlfriend walked in. How were they even dating? He barely knew anything about her and they just hooked up randomly. Skylar didnt see any feelings in that. Maybe she was jelous.

Salem practically dunked under the water, not only was Alex not mad, but he was still together. And on the other hand Skye was right there giving him sweet smiles. Salem dived down, getting his hair wet and slicking it back. When he emerged he was facing Skylar, he gave a small smile, begging for forgiveness and hopefully a second chance. Then he turned around, looking to Alex with a smile, "Probably followed out trail, if not might have just heard us.".

She looked at the girl. Then back at Salem. she smiled looking at the girl then him. How could he like someone so quick then again her? She looked at the ground. Feeling a bit hurt. Was this how it was supposed to end. Trading her in for a new one? So many thoughts ran through her head was this part of being in a relationship and if he really liked her would he come after her. Tear ran down Alex cheek for the first time. She watched as it hit the ground she never cried even as a child because she was taught to be strong. She looked at Salem wide eyed as another one feel down her cheek. Her face went red which they probably couldn't see. She ran to Salem truck and say in the driver seat. She layed down in the seat and cried. Not even sure about what she was feeling. She prayed and hoped he would ran after her. Or would it be a lost hope.v

"Yeah, I f*cking gotta go," Skylar jumped out of the water and grabbed her towel. She slipped on her flip flops. "Uh, see you around Salem?" Skye couldn't believe she asked that in front of his "girlfriend". Skylar blushed and looked away. No one, absolutely no one can know about her "crush". Honestly Skye didn't have to, there was a curfew, but none of the counselors pay any attention.

Salem watched both girls leave, and it was obvious of who to chase. He may have been horrible with girls, but it wasn't hard to tell Alex needed him. He waved to Skye, "You'll see me around." and with that he was off. Salem chased Alex, trying to call for her, but she didn't turn. The moment he reached her truck he opened the door again, looking at her laying down. His face turned soft at her tears, and he didn't know how he could be so cruel. "Alex?" His voice was soft, hoping for anything, but he to be mad.

She looked at him. Alex stared him in the eyes and hugged him. " you came after me. " she whispered softly while hugging him. "Salem. I believe in love and foresight is this what it is?" She whispered laying her head on his shoulder while hugging him.

Salem's eyes were wide when she hugged them, but they became soft as he hugged back. "Of course I did, how could I leave you here crying?" His voice was happy, but it changed when he heard love. The word hit him like a truck, and was the last thing he thought he would hear. "I... I don't know I mean... Love is a strong word Alex.". This girl was unstable, obviously some sort of trauma of something.

Devon silently changed clothes, feeling the urge to cry though she wasn't sure why. She sighed softly and glanced over at a drawer when an old blade lay. Shaking her head slightly, she turned away from it just as she heard a knock on the door. She opened it revealing a counselor and a man. "This man says he knows you," the counselor said. Devon simply nodded and the counselor walked away. Letting the man in, Devon shut the door and sighed. "Dad, you know you can just come here out of the blue," she said, looking up at him. "I thought I should tell you to your face that your mom and I are...we're getting a divorce, Dev," she said softly. Devon looked at him with a mixture of shock, hurt, and anger and pointed to the door. "Get out," she said coldly as she looked into his eyes. Once he didn't budge, she shoved him towards the door only to find herself on the floor just as quickly. A pain shot through her cheek and she held it tightly, her vision blurred as she looked up at his clenched fist. She watched him kneel down next to her and said, "Dev, you know better than to try to force me to do something. Why did you make me do that?" She stayed silent as she watched him leave before breaking down, tears falling rapidly down her face. It had been almost a year since he hit her, but obviously that didn't last.

"I'm not asking if you love me. I'm asking is this what it is? Is it pain and hurt all the time? Is all relationships like this. I've never had anyone my whole life. Then I meet you. " she whispered with smile. " I never fall in love. Because every time I do its taken from me." Alex slightly tilted her head towards the moon.

Haru woke up, looking at the dark ceiling. "Wonder what Dev is doing." She said, looking outside into the night.

Devon slowly got up and made her way to the bathroom. She looked in the mirror silently as the tears kept coming. She wasn't sure how she was going to explain the bruise that had already started forming on her right cheek.

What type of relationship did Salem and Alex have. All they did was make out. In Skylar's head, they were probably in their truck hooking up. Developing a crush on Salem was the stupidest thing she has ever done. Skye slammed her back against a cabin and slid down. She banged her head on the wood a few times. Too many things were messing with her head. She didnt cry, she was way to strong. She kicked up dirt from the ground. She turned her head and saw a truck parked. "F*ck it," she said to herself. She made up a dumb story in her head about what was happening inside the truck. Salem probably made an excuse saying that Skye wanted to make out with him. Then Alex probably cried saying that No one loves her. Then Salem probably said that he loved her and they made out, which also meant they were ok and that they would hate Skye.

Not bothering to hide it, Devon went into her room and laid down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"It's open," she said nervously. She didn't recognize the voice so she quickly grabbed her knife out of her drawer and held it tightly as she stared at the door.
