Realistic or Modern HiddenHill Summer Camp

Skye woke up and tossed her blankets aside and walked to the bathroom. She took a hot shower and changed into her clothes. Skye walked to the lake and let the water brush against her toes.

From the side of the lake she'd be able to see Frank take a dive into the lake, wearing nothing but some swimming shorts; his body is decently built with his abs and other muscles being slightly displayed - he hasn't got the body of a bodybuilder but he's in good shape. He'd disappear under the water.

Skye watched some guy dive into the lake. She was so bored at this camp. Some people have been having the time of their lives. Skylar wasn't so lucky. She took out her phone. She finally found connection. Skye felt fish swimming around her legs. She smiled as they brushed up against her toes.

Frank slowly came back up from the water, kicking his legs to keep himself afloat while he shook his head to get the water away from his face. He saw Skye sitting at the edge of the lake and then sunk under the water again, swimming off towards her in hope of having some interaction with people.

Lynnie woke up from a night of long sleep. She threw jeans and a white t-shirt and grabbed her phone from her bag. She started texting Jessi, a friend from home.

Jessi: How is it Red?

Lynnie: Crappy as you'd imagine hell.

Jessi: There has to be something good.

Lynnie: Nothing. Just a bunch of horny teenagers making out.

Jessi: Lol. I have to go, Dylan's going to the beach with Stacy and I said I'd go with them.

Lynnie: K, bye.

Jessi: Enjoy hell
;)

Jessi had been Lynnie's friend for two years and he'd always gone everywhere with her. She didn't know how to really act without Jessi. Without him she was just a socially awkward teenage girl. She slipped her phone into her pocket and headed outside. She went to go down the steps. The ground got closer and before she could comprehend she was laying on the ground. Her jeans were caked with dirt.

"Shit. What the hell." Before Lynnie could really think she screamed, very loudly. "STUPID FREAKING CAMP! THIS SUCKS!"

He'd pop up out of the water again when he was around fifteen feet away from her. He'd swim with his head above water for the rest of the way and would climb up out of the lake and sit himself down beside her, wiping the water from his face.

"Hey." He says simply in greeting.

"Hey," Skye said to the male obviously uninterested. She looked away. The only people at this camp were probably making out now. She didn't want this camp to be a make out session for her. This guy probably wanted to makeout with her. She walked back near the cabins. She saw a red-headed girl with jeans caked in dirt. She looked mad. She didnt want to bother her so the sat on the step near her holding her phone.

"Freaking retarded camp full of horny teenagers." Lynnie mumbled a few choice words under her breath. She stood and started brushing dirt off her pants. "Stupid dad and mum. Sending me to a camp full of idiotic teenagers." Lynnie continued to mumble. She noticed a girl sitting on the step from which she had just tripped.

The girl had finally noticed her. "Yeah, I know. All these horny teens are using this as an opportunity to hook up," Skylar said understandingly. Skye wished she was back at her own town in Southern California. She planned to swim and have fun. Her parents are completely dumb. They probably wanted her to hook up or some sh*t.

Frank would watch her walk away and sigh. "That was awkward." He muttered to himself; the only intention he had was to have a conversation for the first time since he got here. He shrugged and dived back into the lake before swimming off to the spot where he started off, he got himself dried off and dressed again, after that he walked off towards the cabins where he most likely would have seen the girl he'd previously tried to make conversation with and the girl covered in mud. He took a seat on the step of the cabin beside the one where the girls were situated and took a deep breath, bowing his head in boredom.

Lynnie grunted. "Any of these people think I'm going to make out with them, they've got another thing coming." She plopped down next to the girl on the step. "I'm Lynnie. Not that it really matters because I try not to be social often but whatever." She slumped her shoulders back down and rested her arms in her lap.

Skylar turned and saw the male that tried to talk to her earlier. This was the girls cabins, she felt odd sitting near him. She guessed the rules between boys and girls didn't matter much because the horny teens were now sleeping with each other. Everyone was freaking hooking up at this camp and Skylar felt odd. Skye smiled at Lynnie. "I'm Skylar, call me Skye," Skylar introduced herself. "Yeah, anyone who wants to hook up with me should go and find something else to do.

Frank would be listening to the conversation from the step he was sat on; he sighs as he hears the news of what sort of camp he'd came to - he came to unwind, not to watch teenagers crawl all over each other. ".. so that's what sort of place I'm at... wonderful..." He'd shake his head with a quiet grunt as he rose up, glancing around. He may now have known why the girl wasn't interested in talking - he feared he gave the wrong impression too her and she saw him as one of these other 'horny teenagers'. He needed to fix something.

He walked over in a sweep on anxiety to head off towards his cabin, but stopped by them and took a deep breath. "If you think I'm like... the rest of whoever you're talking about... don't worry. I'm not. Sorry that I gave the wrong impression." He was quick to assume what she thought of him - he didn't make any eye contact and seemed quite irritated that he'd already managed to mess something up in one way or another. He began slowly drifting off towards his cabin.

Skylar raised and eyebrow as the male walked away. She couldn't really trust guys at this camp. He was also probably listening to their conversation. She shook her head and faced back to Lynnie. Lynnie seemed pretty nice. She got that there was something wrong about this camp. Counselors barely came out, giving teens the chance to get with each other and that crap. No one bothered to follow the schedules and do the activities. She was going to go zip lining later. At least she had something to do.

"I wonder why my parents couldn't have sent me to a normal camp?" Lynnie muttered under her breath. "Without all the crappy couples and drama."

"I know right, I get the feeling that my parents want me to make out or hook up," Skye laughed, "So, Lynnie, care to come zip lining with me? Most people ignore the activities and hook up, but this I really want to do," Skylar ignored some camp activities but she always wanted to go zip lining. She was kinda a thrill seeker. She loved rollercoasters and extreme rides.

He sighed and continued walking, going into his cabin and slamming the door shut in an aggressive manner; the wooden panels shake and he walks over to his bed. He collapses onto it and takes a deep breath, clearly aggravated by the way the day had been treating him so far - there were some events that had been planned for people during the day, so he thought that maybe if he went along to one of them that he'd have a little more luck. He'd pull out his cellphone from his duffel bag under the bed and check the signal - nothing. With nothing else other than boredom he'd slide out the already dust-coated guitar bag from under it as well, followed by opening it up and slipping out his western acoustic guitar - he begins playing a quiet tune on the strings, all purely improvised but also very gentle and peaceful. He saw this as the only way to take his mind off of everything and calm himself down; after all, he thought he was the only guy at the camp who didn't have a 'swaggy' hairstyle nor wore skinny jeans - he was casual, somewhat laid back, and had a profession in some things, mostly consisting of knowledge in music.

The door would have creaked open due to him slamming it too hard.

Skylar got up and dusted her short shorts. "You coming?" She asked Lynnie. Zip lining was just up the trail at the top of the mountain. It was a long walk but it was probably worth it. It was also better than watching people make out and stuff.

A string would snap on his guitar and send a clunking noise through the air.

"For Christ SAKE. Are you kidding me?!" He yells as he quickly sets the guitar down on the floor and storms back out of the cabin, slamming the door shut. He quickly placed himself on the step and placed his head between his knees, groaning to himself quietly.

Frank would lift his head and watch them begin walking away, sighing as he slowly stood up; he'd quickly go by them, easily overtaking with his pace. He'd make his way back off towards the lake that he previously went swimming in - there was nothing for him anywhere else, so he saw this as the best place to be for the time being.

Skye walked up the trail. The mountain was pretty steep. Skylar reached the top of the montain. She looked at the zip lines. A conselor was there obviously waiting for people.

"Oh so the Counselors didn't die or get eaten by wolves, they obviously don't care about what goes on at summer camp." Lynnie giggled lightly.

Frank would look around in search of some other people after being totally blanked by everyone else that he'd came into contact with today - he'd wander about the forest area and take a look for someone else.
((Jesus. Edited. Don't know where I got the name Richard from - I've corrected that. My bad!))

Skylar smirked. "They really don't know what's really happening, they think everyone just comes to activities when it's time," Skye whispers. "They probably think everyone forgot or something. They don't know that they're all hooking up and making out," Skye nodded at the counselor. She took a helmet and listen to his boring safety lesson. She put on her helmet and sat on one seat. There was two lines next to each other. She would start at the same the same time as Lynnie.
