Loire
"No that's fine. We weren't in the middle of a game." A little fun fact, once upon a time ago Loire did not enjoy the holidays. Her family was dysfunctional even on their best day. Christmas was just another excuse for them to throw some obnoxious party, most of the time Loire played sick so she wouldn't have to attend them. It wasn't until Cyrus did she see the spirit in it. His mom invited the twins to celebrate with them and it was always warm, merry, and festive and it was contagious. While Loire used to poke holes in the logic of a gift giving holiday she now sort of liked it? Not that she'd admit it.
So here they were, Christmas day sitting around playing cards and enjoying some delicious food when Larkyn decided to run off. With a heavy sigh she sat down her hand of cards and pulled out a rectangular shaped box wrapped in her usual black Christmas paper. The black satin pajama clad woman proceeded to hand Cyrus the small box. "Here. Merry Christmas." Loire wasn't very good at this whole gift giving thing, she had improved over the years but this year she got it just right. At least, she hoped she did.
Inside the box was a red antique key with a simple black string tied to it. "That's to the house. The string is so you don't lose it. And Buttons will have her own mouse mansion set up so she ca feel right at home, too." Her cheeks heated up as she finally bit her tongue to shut herself up. Despite being confused on what they were she was ecstatic to have him here full-time. Cyrus had been running from them for two whole hears trying to support his family and causing himself to be miserable. This meant he'd have a home again. And as ridiculous as this sounded, it didn't feel like it was home without him. Quickly Loire cleared her throat in attempt to hide her embarrassment. "A-Anyways. Cheers to this Christmas and many more to come." With that said she took a quick drink of the white wine she had sitting in front of her.
