Hidden Enemies [Inactive]

"What's the matter? Is everything alright?" John slowly moved his hand to his hip, readying a small pistol with silver-tipped bullets.
 
Rain was slightly nervous and afraid to admit what was happening. With a sigh, she decided to let him in on what was going on. "My eyes change color, and with each color comes a different ability." She explained. "I know it seems far-fetched, but I can prove it."
 
"Sweetheart, there is nothing that's too far fetched for me." John pulled out slowly, driving down the road purposefully, and constantly with his eyes on her.
 
"Good. if you're going to be around me you should know it happens randomly, I have no control over when they turn or what color they change to." Rain further explained. "I do have control over the abilities they provide. Don't worry, I won't hurt you."
 
"Well I would never try. You seem like a good guy, and I don't fight unless I have to." She admitted. "Anyway, what brought you to Reno in the first place? Just passing through?"
 
"Well, I was actually outside Reno performing an exorcism when I got wind that you needed help." he said, "you see, I'm a bio-exorcist for hire, and I'm fairly experienced in the supernatural."
 
"Interesting. It's good to have someone around that knows what they are doing. The government can't understand it, so they just try to cover it up." Rain glanced in the rear-view mirror, seeing a black car following closely behind them. "Speaking of the government, I think we have some company on our tail."
 
"Hey, are you listening?" Lucy glanced to her new friend, who was sitting in the passenger seat, gazing out of the window.


"Huh? Oh, yeah, you said something about casinos" Nero continued to gaze out of the window. It had only been a few days since everything had happened. Even now, it was all a fast blur in his mind, but he knew one thing: his father was a bad person, and he would pay for what happened. Even now, he didn't really know if he could trust Lucy, but she had helped him much more than he could have imagined, and he was grateful. "You said we were going to that city with all the casinos."


Lucy smiled. "The whole point of this road trip was to have fun. And Vegas is a good place to have fun. I will make you smile if it's the last thing I do!" The hot pink prius turned off of the interstate as they came upon Reno. "Let's stop and get something to eat."
 
Pulling out a pink clad gun, Rain leaned out of the window. Holding on to the car with one hand, she aimed at the black cars wheel. She shoot, and missed. "Why can't I have my perfect aim ability on all my eye colors?" She said to herself. Steadying the gun, she shot again, hitting the tire to blow it out. The black car started serving out of control, almost taking out a pink Prius as it tried to get into the emergency lane.
 
"What the hell!?" Lucy swerved hard to prevent crashing as a familiar black vehicle almost hit them. she caught a glimpse of the car ahead of them just as someone popped out of view from the window. Something fishy is going on, that black car was just like the ones who forced Mamaw into hiding. She sped up, pulling side to side with the vehicle. She quickly glanced over and saw two people inside, and she beckoned them to find a place to stop. Nero looked over to Lucy with a confused expression. "What....what's going on?"
