My main question concerns the roleplaying itself. I noticed while I was looking around that people were talking about submitting their characters in a place other than the actual RP forum. Was that in a new topic, or is there something else (another part of the website mentioned having tabs before the update)?

As far as I know, there was this huge update where a lot of things changed. But yes, I think (I'm fairly new, so I might be wrong!) they stopped having a directory where people could save their original characters in, but I've seen people use websites like http://charahub.com and then link it to the forum. But many people (that I've seen) have just sent it in character sheets in a reply just like this, depending on if it was a group or partners.
