Hi guys!

Sythril

(❁´▽`❁)*✲゚*
So I'm kind of used to roleplaying already but I realized that I had never introduced myself before. I guess I should say thanks the people who has been introducing ever since I've been here, and:

I am a proud anime otaku and gamer. I also help out in anime-related FB pages by being an admin. Currently I'm practicing and trying to improve my sucky pixel art with the help of some programs. Usually, in the Rps I join, I use the names Scarlettia, Luna, or Isis. Most of the time, I check out Rps of the Fandom and Fantasy genres, and I only do Private Rps when I'm not busy. c:

I totally love The Series of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. It's so beautiful, but I don't think that I have fellow fans here ; u ;. I enjoy playing MMORPGs and watching Adventure Time. I prefer Yaoi over Yuri, and I have such soft spots for cute and fluffy things. Vocaloid songs are my favorite. I have a really sweet tooth, and I love roasting marshmallows over big campfires.

I am a rad animal lover. I won't hesitate to pat stray cats and feed them. I like dogs too, especially the small ones. My comfort food is ice cream, and I totally love making S'mores. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me! (But it's not like I expect you to ask ; n ;)

I'll take the challenge of asking a question. I have asked this so many times already, but who cares. I want squeeze out as much insight as I can. Is there any shortcut to get better at roleplaying or do I just wing it all the way?

When I said 'questions', I actually meant questions about me, but oh well. For me, there's no actual shortcut in getting better in roleplaying. If I'd want to get better in something, I'll do my best. And in terms of roleplaying, I read a lot of books, and make sure that there's a dictionary to guide me in every word that I read. I study really hard especially when it comes to English, and I try to always proof read everything that I write. I always, do my best, and I would never want to wing anything that I would like to be good at.

I hope I answered your question. c:

Sorry if it wasn't what you were expecting. :( Yes, that bit about proof reading and a dictionary were helpful hints to keep in mind. :D

And just a little secret between the two of us. Sometimes when replying to roleplays, I go to thesaurus.com lol. c:

Don't know what that does so I'll go check it out, again thanks for the tip. Btw, how is this a secret when it's posted on a forum that seems open? xD

I don't know.. O:

Thesaurus is... thesaurus. c:

It'll just help you find meanings and synonyms of words O:

I guess this is a secret among those who see this thread.

I know that not a lot of people would be interested, anyway. c:

Alright, I appreciate the help, now to just put it into practice. Thank you, Domo arigatou, Xie Xie ni.

One last question then I'll stop bothering you *bows*. What is a good genre that will help me get the hang of most, if not all the aspects of roleplaying? Although I am in one as you may have noticed, I am not entirely sure if I am doing it right. Sorry for disturbing you again *bows*

Hmm.. I don't really know about that. As a roleplayer, it's really hard to get the hang of most genres. I only and usually join Rps in two genres: Fandom and Fantasy, so I can't really answer your question. But if I were you, and I'd want to get the hang of every, or most, roleplays, I would start off with Reality. There aren't much terms like in Fantasy, and it would mean less research. c:
