Hi everybody :)

Hi everybody! My name is Hannah and I love to meet new people and have fun while doing so, that's why I created an account on here :) I enjoy casual, simple, and detailed roleplays. Mostly long term rp and non-sexual :) I'm open to lots of ideas and I even have a few of my own. (<3)(:3)

You don't have to worry about adult content on here. It's against the rules. Anyways, welcome to RPN! *throws confetti in air* I'm Kestrel, but you can call me Kes if you want. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. You can post your ideas on the Interest Check forums, which are organized by genre. Enjoy your stay!

I'm new here as well. I just joined about an hour ago or so. I'm interested in long term role plays myself. In fact, that's what I'm looking forward to the most because I believe it develops a nice friendship and bond with the person or people you're role playing with and I find that just as rewarding if not more than the story itself.

I agree. It's a great way to make friends. I probably have more friends here than I do IRL.

Story of my life. Internet friends > IRL friends.

It's always felt easier to talk to people online. This is super depressing, but back when I was getting severely bullied and beaten up in the hallways at school, I'd get questions about what happened. People on the internet can't see me, so I wouldn't have to lie to my friends. Things are better now, though, and so I don't have to insist that I fell down some stairs for the 3rd time in a week to my real life friends.

Ah gosh. It sounds like you and I had very similar school experiences. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I can definitely relate. Did you have the stupid teachers or supervisors who would bring the bully to you and ask them in front of you if they did what you said they did? I only ever said what happened to me ONCE. This kid David decided to stab a pencil directly through my hand in elementary school. When I say through my hand I mean THROUGH my hand. I immediately walked out of the classroom and went to the principal. The principal decided to call the kid into the office and while I was there.... WHILE I WAS THERE... asked if he did what I said he did. Needless to say the next day I was pushed down those metal slides that were popular in the 90's. Do you remember those? The ones with the horrible splintering wood for side guards? Yea... well I slide down the wooden guard walls and had chunks of wood all up my legs, bottom, and lower back. The biggest piece the surgeons had to remove was a 7 inch by nearly an inch piece of wood that went from the back of my leg through my bottom. From then on I never tattled on my bully. -shudders-

By third grade I looked to the internet and discovered Neopets and found those forums I mentioned in my intro post and that's how I started getting online friends. I never had to explain to them what happened to me because they never saw me. It was wonderful and sad.

I also learned very quickly not to tell. I live somewhere cold, so nobody questioned why I wore long sleeves and pants. I possibly got a sprained wrist, but I don't know for sure since I never reported it. I also would try to fight bullies, so that they'd target me instead of my sister. The bullying wasn't just physical attacks. A girl told me to go kill myself. I was told daily that I was useless, worthless, ugly, etc. I think that hurt more than actually getting beaten up.

Nice to meet you Hannah! I'm new here myself so I'm still figuring out the ropes. But it's great to be able to meet other people with similar interests! Bullying is horrible and I'm sorry you had to go through that. :(

I was lucky in that I found a nice group of goofball outcasts to hang out with at school so we really weren't picked on...but it breaks my heart that so many had that experience. I just wanna give you a big hug through the screen!!!

Anywho welcome and I hope you enjoy it here! :D

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I've been pretty busy catching up on homework and finally finished last night. The verbal damage was the worst for me as well. That's what I received the most of. I have a mole on my nose, and with my name being Sabrina that's a terrible combination because I was "Sabrina the teenage witch" and I had the iconic nose mole. Granted mine isn't like a witch's mole but I remember getting teased so much about it that I tried to cut it off one day and my mom caught me while I was heating up the knife to do the deed. I was also not the skinniest kid so I got teased for my weight a lot too. Humans are nasty creatures. :\

That's fine, I've been pretty busy too. Agreed, humans are terrible creatures.
