Heyo! After eyeing the site for a few days I finally decided to join the site. I enjoy both fantasy and sci-fi genres for roleplay, but I'm always more eager to take up a sci-fi roleplay. A usual problem of mine is that I come up with a seedling of an idea but end up needing someone to push me that extra step that causes the 'seed' to grew into a full fledged idea.
I've always been more interested in character driven plots as opposed to strictly action based. Not that there's anything wrong with action, I'd just like there to be individuals in the fight, as opposed to just names. I'm hoping that makes more sense than it seems to.
Star Trek is a setting I love to roleplay in, but only if its OC centric as opposed to using characters from the shows/movies. Though its not something I'm whole heartedly against. After all, the character clearly exist in the setting and would be wrong to deny them. Just having the main characters of the roleplay original.
After that long rambling explanation of me liking Star Trek, I'm perfectly fine with trying other settings as well as original settings. If you feel like it, just ask if I'd like a setting or not. And running off my 'seed' metaphor from earlier I'm probably going to need someone to bounce ideas off of at some point or another.
