prophesier
the catholic occult deuteragonist
my name is cenn, i'm 23 + i never learned how to read new to this site, though i've been role-playing for half my life. just trying to get back into the swing of it again after giving reality the old college try.
irl i'm a happily gay-married homemaker, so i spend most my time doing chores or making my husband lunches. other than that i'm into cartomancy, baking, patient-gaming (mostly jrpgs like .hack, smt persona, or tales of), and watching anime (mostly psych dramas like aku no hana, mawaru penguindrum, or psycho-pass). i'd eventually like to try tabletop gaming, possibly on roll20 if any of y'all are there too, but for right now i'm just trying to get back into steady rping with people who aren't my husband.
i'm mostly looking for group rps, but i'd be down to try 1x1s out again, too, at some point. if you can't tell from my typing style, i'm a casual (semi-lit) rper who puts emphasis only on quality, not quantity. i like rpers who like having an active ooc chat, sharing songs/art/moodboards about our OCs, and just generally geeking out about the rp/fellow rpers and our OCs vs. people who are too cool to care about anything. my best rps have always been with people i came to call friends. i'm also not too compatible with folks who have regular crises about people accidentally using "your" instead of "you're". that said, i do type with better grammar IC.
genres: drama / fantasy / sci-fi / slice of life / LGBT and/or poly romance / modern
fandom: i'm open to it, but it's not a fave. AU preferred; OC x OC if there are pairings involved.
note: i use realistic OCs when i join groups, but realism isn't actually a big priority for me. comic book-inspired mary-sues are fun in their own way, and i don't think there's anything intrinsically "wrong" about wanting cliches without gm/pp oversights. if by chance you've been craving the most cliche, clickbait-worthy, self-indulgent, trash-novel bullshit and yet are embarrassed to admit you do, i'm your guy.
anyway, thanks for having me in this forum + checking out my introduction. i hope to make some new pals outta y'all + i'll see ya round.
