Hey there!

Niiyuke

The Curious Spirit
I'm Niiyuke, nice to meet everyone. I've finally decided that I've outgrown gaia and I'm looking to find a new home of sorts where I can get my role playing fix. I bring with me several years of role playing experience and a wagon full of random characters looking to start new adventures here with everyone else. I look forward to some awesome stories, and making new friends.

[QUOTE="Grim Wraithe Stjerna] Hey there. I'm new as well. Welcome.

Is that Leon Kennedy in your profile pic?

Yes it is. ^_^ I gave physical description of my character and THEN looked for an avatar. It just so happens the Leon fits the bill as it were. Though I'd like to think Grim is much less Emo. ^_~

Leon isn't emo, just a victom of cercumstances. He has been through how many zombie outbreaks now?

Fair enough, but I was just referring the picture in-particular. But it was the only one that really fit and didn't have a gun brandished. ;3 He's been through more then really should happen to anyone.

True. most art has him holding some pistol up in the ready to fire position. That picture is a bit emo, but not to bad.You a resident evil fan then?

It is. :-) I'm a fan of the movies and watching my friends play the games, but I just cant get into playing them myself. Are you?

I've played a few of the resident evils, but not all of them. Currently working through the first game in the series since they re-released it. I do like the movies though. Whesker is as much of an ass as I always thought he was.

Well they had such a good character reference it was hard to get it wrong. :3 How are the re-releases? To be honest, I haven't really seen any of it. How are they?

It is a little bit wonky to be honest. The characters are in high-def, but the backgrounds can be a bit blurry. Other than that, it is very nice. They added in something called a crimson head that is a right royal pain in the ass to deal with, but it is a good game.

Sounds like a fun game. I prefer FPS like Halo and CoD, or RPG Fantasy.

Greetings and salutations!

Welcome to RP Nation, where Roleplay is our business.

You've found us, congratulations for choosing the best RP site on the whole intertubes, we're glad you're here and a part of the expanding universe that is RP Nation. Also, now you're officially one of the cool kids.

Before you being your quest to becoming one of the old hats here at RPN, please do take a second and take a look at the site rules. You can find them here: INFO - Official Site Rules | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Once you've had a glance over the rules there's more information to be had here: Site Questions & Information | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum. You can find something there to answer just about any question you might have.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum

They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.

If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with either the moderators of your forum (the genre), the Super moderators, or even the admin staff. You can do that here: Site Questions & Information

Again, welcome to RPN and happy RPing.

Can't go wrong with a good FPS. I've played a good number of those in my lifetime. I like games that make me think about it though like Metal Gear V where the approch, and a cardboard box, is critical to the mission. Mindless shooting has it's place, don't get me wrong, I just like a challenge.

Metal Gear is a good one as well, a nice blend of the FPS and Strategy. I really like the story behind Snake. The entire story, not just a particular game.

Ah, well I don't know much about Snake himself. I'm new to the series so I only know what's in the current game. I've been told I need to play the other ones as well.

The other games show their age, but from what I remember watching and hearing my buddies talk about, they are alot of fun.

I miss out on a lot of the lore though since I haven't played them. Perhaps I'll do a wiki look up or something. Did you have a good day?

Sorry for poofing like that work got busy and then the holidays hit.

In general I've been having good days.

A wiki look up is a good idea. I do that from time to time for Star Wars and D&D.
