I just wanted to say 'hey'. My name is Em and I've been roleplaying for a very long time, probably since around approximately 1995 or 1996 way back when home computers were just starting to be commonplace in households! lol I fully realize that I may be older than the greater majority of players here so I hope that isn't too much of a problem! In my years of roleplaying I have been at two websites. The first one was when I first started out and, unfortunately, it closed down. The second I have been active on for awhile. It's still up and running, but lately I noticed that everything there is a little stale for me. You could say that familiarity breeds contempt in this case. Both were live roleplaying sites (non-forum) so the forum concept is very new to me. I'm here to have fun and try to reclaim the creativity I lost from years of staying in one place! I look forward to meeting new, interesting, and intelligent people. Game on!

Ahh, well, you're interesting. Age doesn't matter that much on this site, despite most of the members that I see in the 17-20 age range. As for your years in roleplaying, that's before when I was born! Quite the time to write stories with others.


I had also roleplayed on informal roleplay sites. One was a chatbox on a game totally unrelated to roleplay, and another a social site that had closed down. I had to move, so I found a bunch of alternative roleplaying sites to move to. This one stuck with me~

I would love to create a rp and it would be an easier start if it was with someone that knows a lot more about the process than I do. If you have any thoughts (I'm pretty much open to any sort of rp), I'm open to them! *s*

The concept is that your character knows a certain eccentric old man that owns a antique shop called need full things. One day passing the shop on your way to work or school or whatever... you discover a horrible incident has occurred to the small antique shop it has burnt down and the old eccentric man is dead. Later that day the old man's cat appears at your window dragging a small leather bag in its mouth, two things you discover after the initial shock of seeing the housecat at your window, one the cat can talk and the other it gives you a golden compass in the leather bag that has the magical ability to find your heart's needs and desires. and now the fate of mankind is in your hands!

I like it! It's mysterious and still has a lot of possibilities that can be opened up. I do have questions though just so everything is clear in my head. Can I have your permission to PM you my questions?
