I'm glad you enjoyed it! I figured it would be funny/cute to have a moment with the handshake since Eupha is so nervous over them lol! But also no rush ofc. Take as much time as you need even if it goes past the next cycle. I don't plan on moving Eupha forward till you respond regardless so if you have school stuff focus on it. That's far more important. Plus you know I'm pretty patient/chill about waiting
I’ll definitely try to see if I can follow up with an equally funny/cute moment from Ed, lol and thank you for waiting on silly ol’ me if it weren’t for this dumb assignment I’d immediately hop right into writing for him 😫

Sjfsjhfsjf and somewhat unrelated so you know how Ed and Eupha both have the same initials? Well that got me thinking about her name and omg is Euphausia a type of krill?! Eupha’s a krill and Ed’s a shrimp, it was truly a friendship that was destined to be 🦐 🦐

roughly conveying what basil said to stenir through my usage of stick figures feels nice

i can keep this up until uh

the language barrier gets remedied

While scrolling through the characters, I didn't see any other Nordic characters that could speak with and translate for Stenir unfortunately. But I do know there's a lot of characters that could translate for Komaeda as some are from Japan. Like Zenitsu as he is from the Taishō period, Joker/Ren as Persona 5 takes place in modern day Tokyo or Okarun who is clearly living in Japan from the locations and school uniforms. Just to name a few.

I wouldn't want to translate Komaeda though; he can get a bit unhinged.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. I'm sure it'll be great!

Just a bunch of shellfish friends!! Clearly they should have been Clauncher as a Pokemon since that's the closest to a shrimp there is lol!

I kinda assumed that the dimensional warp spell would be like. Auto translate everyone like the TARDIS tbh. Otherwise I don't think anyone would understand the resident Greeks.

That's true. They're also the late arrivals if I remember right, so that could be an explanation. They only caught the tail end of the spell, so it malfunctioned a little lmao

I like the idea that the magic isn't perfect, especially since the teleportation spell that was casted was described as forbidden and can lead to disasters. And it was done by an apprentice instead of a seasoned wizard.

Here's a new prompt for everyone!
If you're character isn't wearing their how ot naturally is, what is their natural hair style/color?
If they are wearing it naturally, what would they change it to if they could?

Py's natural hair color is red (thanks divine blood) he wears them in dreadlocks, but naturally they're actually really curly!

wait someone help me pick, should kuruna go see the princess or go supply shopping

ryza def needs supplies, cant decide for my healer unicorn tho

Yee yee he definitely does, although the anime is kinda weird when it comes to what language the characters are canonically speaking. In Amestris all the written language is in English and Ed also went to London and was able to understand the language there. However characters like Alphonse are clearly able to communicate with German characters.

So TLDR: He probably speaks German and English, but due to anime logic the show doesn’t do much to differentiate when characters are speaking one or the other or if there’s even a difference which can make it pretty darn confusing lmao.

Hmmmm nope he actually spent two years in Germany not knowing a single word of the language/j

lol but all jokes aside yeah he definitely does, although the anime is kinda weird when it comes to what language the characters are canonically speaking. Smdh hate it when that happens. Languages can be so fun toooooo

my fav game series made up a whole mostly functional language for it's music, and i must believe this was the creators philosophy
One of my favorite game franchises has several languages, most of them semi-learnable and one entirely learn able. They also made the learnable language into the theme song and maintain the rhyme scheme both in the language and the English version without mistranslating anything.

heres my favourite lyric

i played the song i sent to my moms boyfriend and he told me it sounds like boss music and my response was "well no!"

i still dont know exactly how youre supposed to pronounce hNmNmNrN
Maybe they're using those letters as like. Symbols for the language? The language I sent actually has runes associated with the words, too, that's just the pheonetic translation. So maybe it's like that?

Like this is what it looks like written not phonetically with their runes

symbols above it are the symbols for the lyrics, each one roughly corresponding to a letter (with some hiragana influence, letters CAN be combined)
hNmNmNrN is the pronunciation
i simply am not sure how the singer sang that
