Watching the various villains go about displaying their powers brought a cheeky smile to Zoe's face, or rather what lay beneath that layer of protective metal that was making it harder for anyone to gauge her reaction. The mandible-like structure with the jagged teeth that covered parts of the metallic ex-hero's face shifting in what could best be described as a grimace-like grin of chrome.
A low chuckle escaped her, hollow and carrying a certain eerie echo that might not have aided her reputation as a hero, as she'd finally step through the doorframe and into the room, her spiky, vividly colored mohawk threatening to scrape off parts of the ceiling as she came to stand at her full height.
Leaning against the wall, crossing her metal-encased arms in front of her chest, Zoe would nod towards Jared.
"Hey now, we both know there's more hiding underneath this metal skin of mine, eh?"
The villainess would remark with a hearty laugh, her fist coming to knock on her chestplate as the sound of heavy metal on metal rang through the room.
"Though I suppose I'm not nearly as flashy as the lot of you. Though subtlety is still far from my forte." Zoe added, tilting her head slightly to the side as she allowed her rust-colored glare to wander over the assembled villains that may or may not be the people she'd be working with from now one.
"As JARED was so eager to share, name's Zoe. Went by Iron Maiden when I was still playing for the boyscouts. Now 'tis Metalhead. Or Zo, your call really, easy to keep one's identity secret when your power's covering your ugly mug 24/7." The metallic ex-hero would continue as she'd exchange an amused glare with Jared, raising what could best be described as an eyebrow-like arch of metal at him as her visored face struggled to portray just the tiniest hint of amusement she felt over the entire situation.
Back when she was working for the heroes meetings like these were boring and dull, following protocol and going down lists of powers and quirks, but here. This was a free for all of upstart villains showcasing their powers to each other in hopes of outdoing each other.
And that grin behind her metallic muzzle just broadened at the mere thought of getting to add her own set of rather destructive skills to the mix.
"Anyhow, there's a reason we're all here, 'eh? And I doubt it's not simply for getting into a dick-measuring contest. I'd be more than happy to know if this is going to be worth any of our time. You know, there's other stuff to be done, even though kickin' hero butt's still going to be too good to pass up."
