Blake was in the front room with a glass of water, an aspirin, and another glass filled to the brim with orange juice. It was a sort of solution to a hangover for him, as well as a morning tradition. Minus the water and aspirin. He tossed the tablet into his mouth and chased it with the water and swallowed before he began to chug the orange juice. He watched Ruby and Izy rush out the door from the corner of his eye as he finished the glass of orange juice. Once he was finished, he tossed the glass into the sink and went to check on Alzora and Lucien, finding them -insert location-. "Oh, hey. What are you guy's doing?"

(So, I decided that since everything is so SLOWWW, I would have an event, introducing a new character, possibly two. Everyone ready?)
Blake nodded slightly and walked into the front room. He turned the TV on and flipped to Channel 5, grabbing his aching head as a reporter screamed out. After he dialed down the volume to 15, He sat and watched silently as the anchorman spoke of a strange hurricane that was making it's way towards Metropolis. At that very moment, the sound of a sonic boom rang outside, as well as a strange whirring sound. Blake curiously looked outside, shielding his eye's from the sun, and was surprised to see a large, jet black aircraft hovering at least 16 feet over the house. The cockpit's lid slid back as a man dressed as a bat jumped out onto the ground and stared at Blake from the court yard. Another man in a red and blue spandex outfit and cape hovered next to the aircraft, his arms crossed over his chest. "Guy's....... Who here know's these two?"

Ken continued to speed down the road before the G-Cycle launched off a parked car, leaving the hood crushed inwards. He closed his eye's and braced himself but nothing came. He opened them to see that he was driving on the side of a building. "I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" Ken shot a length of gauze at a street pole as the G-Cycle came to the end of the building. The contraption spun off the building and towards the street. Ken took this opportunity to jump from the vehicle before he became roadkill. He landed hard on the concrete with a thud as he laid on his back staring up at the sky.

Miles sat on the couch in his front room eating a cup of Ramen noodles. He flipped through the channels on his TV set until he saw the news. He stared at it blankly before switching the channel again.
'Shouldn't you be heading over to Metropolis or something?'
'Why? Some other hero can deal with it. I'm on break.'

'Fine. After this show.'
'Ugh.....'
