Do you believe in Faeries?
Having the opportunity to teach others to defend themselves was one thing, but to defend the universe? Now that was something. Exploits well known, the prodigy keyblade wielders Sora, Riku, and even Kairi had been selected as the elite in a new Academy to train the next generation of guardians of light. The youth of various ages and across multiple worlds had flocked to the chance to protect the ones they loved-though some had other motives, and sought power. These hopefuls would learn the hard way that...well...it just didn't work that way.

Bhae had been in attendance for about two years. She was quiet, and did not speak often. When she did, that was also quiet, and hard to hear. Rumor had swiftly circulated that she was quite nice, despite being so private, but did not seem to keep any friends in particular. She would sit alone, eat alone, spend time alone--but say hello to almost everyone, and seemed to know everyone's name. She was a bit odd, at any rate. Most people did not ever see her train, either.

So today, especially, it was no surprise that there was a small handful gathered to peer out the window, staring while she entertained a new guest with magic. It was a young boy, no more than seven. How he had come here, nobody knew, but every so often they did acquire stragglers that were lost, as sometimes darkness did rise in places beyond their reach and they would have to go out and seek it to quell the danger. Bhae had seen him crying, and now she stood juggling spheres of water, practically dancing as she spun in circles to make him laugh.

The few by the window murmured to themselves, a quiet discussion of whether this was normal behavior for her, or if she only showed off for little kids. They had never seen her dance before, after all.

Xander was one of the kids at the Keyblade Academy, First Year actually at 16 years old. He had yellow hair spiked up with gel and a blue streak running through it. He wore a red and black shirt and jacket and a pair of shorts and high-top sneakers. He was currently lounging under a tree, trying to block out the snoring from the other side of the tree. "Dang it....how is he not waking himself up?" Xander complained.

The loud snoring was coming from a young man with spikey brown hair, Master Sora....or the 'lazy bum' as Master Kairi called him.

"Ugh...I'll never get any rest with this going on." Xander huffed.

Sora snorted and mumbled something in his sleep: "Sea-monkey has my money...."

"Soraaa!"

Speaking of Master Kairi, there she was now. The bright-eyed young woman was always a pleasant sight, cheerful and fierce, rarely cross, and nine times out of ten trying to find out where Sora had run off to when he wasn't where she had last left him. That was something she was used to by now, of course, and he did always turn up. She sighed, blowing her bangs up and away from her eyes as she stopped with her hands on her hips, one foot tapping her toes against grass until--snooore.

"Oh, that Bum." She grinned.

Kairi shook her head, and strolled confidently toward the sound of Sora's telltale napping snores. As she came upon the tree and spotted Xander, she waved cheerily and motioned for him to stay quiet. The ruby-haired girl snickered quietly as she crept around the tree, and crouched low next to Sora's ear. After taking a big breath, she blew a cold, steady gust of air right into his ear.

Sora jerked awake with a startled cry. "Ah! ...Oh, hi Kairi!" he said with a cheeky grin. Xander sighed, "Finally I can get some rest without-"

~RiiIIiINnG!~

Xander frowned, "You've gotta be kidding me...." He groaned and got up. "What period is it again?" Xander asked Sora with a yawn.

"Umm...I think it's...lunch....before 4th?" Sora said with a shrug.

Xander looked over at the scene of Bhae entertaining the small boy. He frowned in sympathy, "Who's the kid?" He asked Kairi.

Kairi laughed as Sora woke. That was a better reaction than she had been anticipating. "Hey you--aren't you supposed to be doing something? Not that I'm surprised to find you napping again!" she grinned.

The ring of the bell interrupted their conversation, and she looked up to see a shuffling of students as they moved from various corners of the Academy to come together for the lunch hour. There was a hall everyone could eat at, and most people wandered in that direction, though some made efforts to picnic outside.

Kairi looked up at Xander, and turned to follow his gaze toward Bhae and the small boy. She frowned a little, and turned a half-smile back at Xander. "That's Eric...he just got here early this morning. He's still a little upset about everything, you know. It looks like he enjoys magic tricks, though!"

Bhae tossed her water spheres up, and let them collide so a small sprinkling shower fell over the both of them. Eric, the small boy in question smiled. "There you go, kid- that's it for now. It's time to get food, okay? Do you know where to go?"

Eric nodded, and grinned, trotting off toward a couple of kids his own age that had spotted him and were waving. Sora or Kairi must have introduced them that morning.

Xander smiled at Bhae as she walked close, "That was a nice thing you did for him." Xander commented as he walked with his hands in his pockets. "What's for lunch, Sora?" Xander asked the spikey haired master. "I think cheeseburgers and fries!" Sora said, slightly drooling. "Oh man...that smells great!" Xander said as they entered the lunch hall.

Pete Jr. (P.J.) and Bobby Zimmeruski and Max Goof were the trio of chefs for the school. Bobby was currently busy spraying cheese whiz into his mouth behind Max and PJ's backs.

"I can still hear you!" PJ said, annoyed.

Bobby turned to PJ with a mouthful of cheese spray and gulped it down, "Uhh...you want some?" He asked his friend.

Max sighed and waved to Sora and Kairi, "The burgers are done....they might have a bit too much cheese.."

Sora smiled, "No such thing as too much cheese on a burger."

"See!? I told you!" Bobby said loudly, "He's the boss and he just said that I can put as much cheese as I want on them!" Bobby said pointing to Sora.

"So PJ, how's your dad...is he not getting into any trouble?" Sora asked Pete's son.

"Yeah he's...kinda spending his days fishing and telling big stories about how he defeated Maleficent and the Heartless and...yeah. I really appreciate you not holding his uh....weirdness against him. He's kinda.....easily caught up in things...that often aren't very good. I'm sorry that he ever gave you guys trouble." PJ said guiltily.

"Hey, it's in the past now right?" Sora said with his hands behind his head in his signature pose.

Xander was standing in line and staring at the large cheese covered triple burgers. "I love you." Xander said with teary eyes to Bobby.

Kairi grinned, hands at her hips, "Not that it matters what they made for lunch--I swear you and Riku will eat anything."

When Bhae realized Xander was looking at her, she paused her walking long enough to hear his compliment. She smiled softly, almost looking embarrassed that someone had noticed. "Ah...thanks. I can't help it, you know?" She was headed to the lunch hall anyway, so she ended up heading in the same direction as Sora, Kairi and Xander.

"You're Xander, right?"

Kairi waved happily to Bobby and Max, and then rocked up onto her tip-toes to wave to PJ from behind Sora's spiky hair. She was quick to load up her plate, and give Sora a soft nudge with her elbow, "I'll see you later, kay? I'm gonna go sit with some of the girls over there--and don't worry, Bobby, they look great!"

Bhae cracked a smile at the exchange about cheese, but she was silent, and kept mostly to herself in line. She did say hello to Max and PJ when she passed by them, and waved at Bobby. As she usually did, Bhae headed off to sit at the uninhabited edge of a table by herself.

Xander, upon getting one of the triples he'd had his eye on, sat down with Bhae. "Yeah, I'm Xander...you're Bhae right? Nice to meet you.." Xander said, offering a handshake.

Sora was at a table noisily eating his burger in an 'eating contest' against some of the students.

She was a little surprised to have him sit with her, but she did not mind. Bhae welcomed pretty much anyone if they chose to swing her way for a time, even if most people eventually drifted elsewhere toward larger groups. The curly-haired girl smiled, and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, too. And yeah, I'm Bhae."

Her gaze shifted to the table Sora was at, the students crowding around him and cheering him on in his contest. Bhae grinned and shook her head. "He usually wins those. I can't imagine even trying. I know I'd lose. I can't eat that fast."

"Yeah, dude's gotta have like three stomachs....given the way he was snoring earlier...I think he might be a grizzly bear in disguise." Xander chuckled.

Sora finished his triple-bacon cheeseburger and sat back patting his stomach...before..

"URRRRRP!" A loud thunderous belch issued from his mouth, causing the students to burst out in laughter.

"Way to go, Sora!" They cheered, as he smiled and rubbed the back of his head innocently.

The Eric kid seemed to be having the time of his life, Xander noticed.

"You did a good thing, making that Eric kid feel welcomed here...putting him at ease." Xander said to Bhae.

"You know, I think you might be on to something," Bhae widened her eyes in mock surprise, nodding at Xander's grizzly theory. However, Sora's loud belch interrupted any additional evidence she might have chosen to add.

"Aw, really? That's gross," Riku called as he entered the chow hall. 'Mature' as ever, he simply rolled his eyes at Sora's antics, heading right for the spiky-haired goofball in question. "Come on, man. We're supposed to be setting an example...and I don't mean an example on how to scarf down enough food to feed an army in under thirty seconds."

Fortunately, Sora would know his friend well enough to detect there was no anger behind Riku's words. The light-haired Keyblade Master was just giving him a hard time, like always. Truth be told, if Riku had arrived soon enough, he probably would have tried to make a competition out of the display.

"Anyway, bugs-for-brains, don't forget to keep your eyes open. Master Yen-Sid wants us to try and find a few students to place on missions teams in the next few days. Ask Kairi to look, too, and let me know if you find any candidates that might work well together. Think you can handle that?"

Bhae paused mid-bite in her burger and blinked, glancing sideways at Xander. She chewed, and swallowed before smiling, bashfully. "Oh...um. Thank you, Xander." There was almost a look of panic on her face, like she did not know what to do with the compliment. However, just as quickly as it had appeared, it was gone and she seemed to have recovered her moment of awkwardness. "You know, just...doing what I do."

"Anyway! Enough about me. What do you think those two are talking about?" she gestured at Riku and Sora. From where she sat, it was hard to hear what the two were saying. At least, for her.

"Sure! I can do that!" Sora said innocently. He began looking at the tables of students around them, "Hmmmm!" He said, making a thoughtful face. "What about them?" He said, pointing to Xander and Bhae's table. "I mean, she was cheering up Eric earlier...and Xander just sorta....started hanging out with her and stuff." Sora said quietly to the silver-haired master.

Xander turned around and saw Sora pointing at their table. He blinked and turned back around to Bhae, "I'm gonna guess they're talking about us....dunno why though!" Xander shrugged as he lifted the top bun of his burger and poured some BBQ sauce on.

"Aw man! This thing's busted!" Max complained as the second oven wasn't turning on. It didn't really matter, since all the students had been fed by now.

Bobby scratched the back of his head nervously, "I uh....that may be because I put cans of cheese wiz in there...."

"You mean you sprayed that stuff INSIDE the oven?" Max groaned.

"Nah....I ain't stupid! I put the cans in there to heat them up so they'd be all warm for later!" Bobby replied.

Some of the students snickered at the trio of chefs antics.

P.J. wandered up and gently pushed the two of them out of the way coolly, "Let a professional handle this..." He then produced a frying pan and began whacking the oven with it. "Ya gotta show these things who's boss! Teach 'em a lesson!" P.J. said as Max face palmed as P.J. seemed puzzled it wasn't working still.

"Did uh...your dad teach you that?" Bobby asked Pete Junior.

"Yep! ....Wait how'd you know that?" P.J. asked.

Riku stared flatly at his spiky-haired friend for a moment before he even bothered to follow and see where Sora was pointing. Still, he had gone through the trouble of asking, so whatever he turned around to look at was one hundred percent his fault. The silver-haired master braced himself, and glanced over his shoulder.

Ah...that wasn't so bad. He recognized Xander a bit; not a trouble maker, anyway. Good kid. Supposedly able to hold his own in a sparring ring. Then there was Bhae. He was not so sure about her. Sure, she was no trouble maker either, but she did not seem the adventurous type. So far she had shown a greater preference to stay at the Academy and keep to herself. Maybe she would surprise them, though?

"All right, Sora. It's worth a shot. I'll go talk to them, see if they're interested. If they are, I'll have them meet you first thing tomorrow morning for some team training. If everything goes well they can try an easy mission to get into the swing of things."

Bhae blinked, glancing sidelong at Xander as she watched Riku look at them, and return to his conversation with Sora. "I think you were right, Xander...Riku's headed this way now."

She was still half-staring when Riku stopped in front of their table. He always exuded a certain level of confidence upon first glance, but once you got to know him it was easy to see other emotions, usually by watching the shifting motion of his eyes. Deep down, Riku was a little bit..awkward, and still unused to a position of authority. He handled it well, though, and as he arrived at their table he took a seat across from the two of them, resting an elbow on the table, his other hand balled into a fist at his hip as he leaned forward and pointed at the two of them.

"What would you two think about being on a team? Master Yen Sid wants the rest of us--Sora, Kairi and I, to start recruiting Academy students to work together on missions. So we're looking for a small handful of people to start with, as a kind of test, to see how it goes. Are you interested in giving it a shot?"

Sora gave Riku a thumbs up in response and bit into another burger as the silver-haired master walked away. Xander, upon hearing Riku's offer, accidentally squeezed the bbq sauce bottle hard enough to empty it onto his burger.

"R-really?! You're not just screwing with us!?" Xander said excitedly as he bounced in his seat. Sora smirked from his seat as he heard Xander's excitement. "Yeah! Of course I'm interested!" Xander said, unable to stop bouncing around.

"Dude your burger's ruined!" one of the kids passing by their table said.

"Nah, it's fine....Little extra bbq sauce ain't gonna kill me." Xander shrugged in answer.

"...must be a spiky hair thing," Riku mumbled to himself at Xander's excited answer. Nonetheless, he seemed both pleased and surprised by the positive response! A soft grin spread across his face and he sat up a little straighter. "Really. It's no joke...Bhae?"

The curly-haired girl was mostly silent. She looked at Riku, and then at Xander as he shrugged off a comment about excess BBQ sauce being non-toxic, and cracked a smile of her own. Xander seemed like a reliable sort of person to team up with. Maybe they would make good friends, too? It would just take a little getting to know each other.

Finally, she nodded, turning her smile toward Riku. "Yeah...Yeah, why not? That sounds like an interesting opportunity."

Riku nodded and let both hands fall decisively on the table. "All right--it's settled, then! You two can meet Sora at the Sparring Ring tomorrow morning, around seven. He'll go over some teamwork pep talk and exercises with you. Just to see where you guys are."

Sora smiled at Bhae and Xander widely. "Basically what you need to know is that we'll be watching through Yen Sid's magic how you're doing. We chose you both because not only are you both good students and have good hearts....but because you're both strong....probably in more ways than you know." Sora looked over at Riku and Kairi sitting in the background on a bench, wondering if they approved of him trying to sound all wise and stuff.

That was when there was a small eruption of blue and purple smoke from the ground...and there stood Yen Sid and a sort of woozy looking King Mickey staggering around. "G-Gosh...I never got used to that." He said as he shook it off. Donald and Goofy peeked out from behind the tall wizard and their faces lit up, "SORA!" they charged him and tackled the spiky haired boy to the ground happily.

"Whoa! What're you guys doing here?" Sora said as he was embraced. "We came to visit and see off the new guys!" Goofy said.

Donald looked over and elbowed Goofy, "One of them's a girl!"

"Oops sorry, ahyuk! Guy and gal!"

"So...where are we going?" Xander asked.

Bhae listened attentively, her arms behind her back with hands clasped gently. She looked very calm, but her eyes were alight with anticipation. This would be an interesting for her, both because she seldom worked with teammates, and because she had not traveled to other worlds since coming to the Academy. Deep down, she was excited to see where this went.

The purple and blue smoke drew her eyes, and she smiled at the arrival of Yen Sid and King Mickey. Her hands unfolded from behind her back as she drew both arms in front, almost as if she had become suddenly...shy. This did not last long, as she grinned at the sight of Goofy and Donald tackling Sora to the ground. "aww..."

She waved at Goofy and Donald.

Kairi had given Sora a 'thumbs up' during his introduction speech. Riku was listening quietly, seated with his hands resting on his knees. Everything was going well so far; both students had shown up, and Sora had everything under control. When everybody else showed up, both Riku and Kairi stood to approach Yen Sid and Mickey, and greeted them.

From Kairi, Mickey would get a big hug, and a wide grin. Even Yen Sid was not excluded from this--Kairi did not particularly care that he seemed rigid and formal to most. She knew he was a kind hearted and wise wizard. So a hug for him too! "It's great to see you all," she said.

Riku turned to Xander after he had said hello to everyone, and nodded a bit. "You'll be starting in Atlantis. There's been reports of suspicious activity. All you two need to do is observe, and report back. Naturally, protect those who are in danger, if any. Yen Sid will be able to show you what you might be up against. This first test shouldn't be too hard. Just focus on teamwork, and learning to trust each other. Figure out how to work together."

Xander scratched his head, "Like....the place with the mermaids and stuff?" He asked. Sora shook his head, "Nah, that's AtlanTICA. Atlantis...well...you'll see in the briefing!" Sora said excitedly.

Yen Sid used his magic to open a sort of hole in the air, this morphed into a murky sort of mirror that showed the group images of a bespectacled young man trying to prove to a museum curator that Atlantis was real..he was screwed out of a meeting with the board of crusty old men by a dirty trick, and he ended up chasing the curator's car and leaping onto the hood. "This," the boy said, pressing a piece of paper into the windshield: "Is a letter of resignation, if you refuse to help me fund this expedition...I'll-" The windshield wipers scraped the boy off into the cobblestone street.

"I'll QUIT!" He shouted, looking rather intimidated as the car stopped and reversed back to him.

"I mean it sir, I'll-"

"You'll what? Flush you career down the toilet like your crazy grandfather?! He was always prattling on about Atlantis and you know that this museum deals in facts..not legends and folklore! You've got potential Milo, don't destroy your whole life over something crazy!"

The reflection showed Milo in a large mansion, talking to a bearded old man....who apparently knew Milo's grandfather....and gave Milo a book called the Shepherd's Journal that apparently was a lost artifact that would lead them to Atlantis.

Upon hearing Milo's vow to find Atlantis no matter what, the old man named Whitmore smirked and praised him: showing him a model of a large submersible vessel.

"For years your granddad bent my ear with stories of that old book, so finally I got fed up with the old fart and made a bet with him...I said 'Thatch, if you ever find that so called journal..not only will I finance the expedition but I'll kiss you full on the mouth!' Imagine my embarassment when he found the thing..." Milo was shown a picture of the two old men spitting and wiping their mouths.

Xander snorted with laughter.

"Your grandad was a great man...you probably don't realize how great....those buffoons at the museum...dragged him down and made a laughing stock out of him. He died believing he was total failure." Whitmore said sadly.

"If I could bring back one shred of proof to prove him right...that'd be enough." Whitmore sighed. "Wait, what're we standin' around for...we've gotta get going!"

"W-what!? But I've gotta quit work-"

"You quit this afternoon."

"I've gotta get clothes and you'll need a crew!"

"Your stuffs packed and the crew's already been hired, same crew who found the journal." This Whitmore man seemed to not like to leave loose ends and was apparently already prepared.

The surface of the magic mirror..thing, showed photos of the crew that Whitmore named off: "Gaeton Moliere: Geology and Excavation."

"Vincenzo Santorini: Demolitions, we busted him outta a prison a while ago!"

"Audrey Ramirez: Mechanics!"

"Joshua Sweet: Medical officer!"

"Now...all we need...is an expert in Atlantean." Whitmore said as Milo excitedly accepted the offer and the mirror turned into a portal.

"On the other end of this portal," Yen Sid said as he gently patted Kairi's head and gave a slight smile, "You will be at the dock where the ship will be leaving shortly."

Xander blinked, "Wait...all those guys he just showed...they're part of the crew...won't they notice that we're not on the list?"

Suddenly an old man stepped out of the portal...it was the man they had seen: Preston Whitmore! "Jeez, Sid ya think you could give me time to prepare for extra crew next time? I just went through hell trying to forge their IDs and background documents!"

"Gawrsh, ain't that illegal?" Goofy asked.

"S'only illegal if ya get caught, son." He approached Riku and squinted at him. "Well...he seems healthy enough, could use a muscly strapping young kid like you-"

"Uh...that's not who we're sending." Mickey said.

Bhae cracked a half smile as Preston Whitmore appeared, studying Riku as his 'ideal' candidate for the misison. Even the silver-haired keyblade master chuckled. It was Kairi who finally spoke up, though, as she gestured at Xander and Bhae.

"We're sending these two; this is Xander, and this is Bhae. You won't have to worry about a thing, Mr. Whitmore. Master Yen Sid has explained everything to them. They know what your mission is, and how important it is to you and Milo."

Quiet as she often was, Bhae thought this was a good opportunity to at least introduce herself. She stepped forward, and greeted Mr. Whitmore with a nod, shaking his hand. A soft smile curled at her lips and the old man scrutinized her a little, though his own face lit up with a little grin at the strength of her handshake. He handed her a file containing her paperwork and background documents.

When she opened it, she found that she had been assigned as a secondary medical officer. Like an assistant, for alternative medical care if Joshua Sweet became ill or overwhelmed. With a ship that large and a crew size they had, it was not suspicious to have a nurse-like figure on board, so she would fit right in. This would also give her a good reason to get to know some of the main team, and Dr. Sweet.

"Think you can handle that?" Mr. Whitmore asked with a raise of one bushy white eyebrow.

Bhae nodded with a grin. "Yes. It's perfect-what's your assignment, Xander?"

Xander's face lit up, "I get to be that Milo guy's bodyguard! Wait....does he even need one?" He asked Whitmore, who scoffed. "Wait til' ya see, the kid's a walking magnet for disaster! Plus, he's a touch..clumsy." Whitmore sighed.

Xander glanced over at Sora and Riku, "Sound like anyone you know?" He gestured slightly to Goofy.

Sora laughed as Goofy flopped onto the ground behind them after accidentally tying his shoelaces together. Donald sighed and fixed Goofy's shoes with magic.

"So...when do we leave?" Xander asked Yen-Sid.

"Well I need to see the ship off...and if you two don't get aboard and report in you'll have to swim after it." The old man said, checking a pocketwatch.

"Wait...what!?" Xander blurted as he grabbed his bag and waved goodbye to the trio of keyblade masters and Yen Sid..as well as their feathered and dog-like friends. "We'll try not to embarrass you!" Xander teased as Sora smiled. "As if you would!" Sora said as they waved goodbye.

"Whoaa....this place is huuge!" Xander said, walking around the dock and bumping into a man with black hair..causing him to drop a stick of...

"Uh you dropped your dy-dy-dy-na-mite." Xander's eyes widened as he picked up the stick. "What all you got in there...?" Xander handed the man back the stick.

"Lotsa these, and gunpowder, nitroglycerin...glue...and paper-clips....big ones." Vince said casually.

Bhae smiled, resting with her thumbs tucked into her pockets. Xander would make a good bodyguard, or at least she thought he would. Her meandering mind was soon snapped abruptly to reality as Mr. Whitmore informed the two of them that the ship was practically leaving the dock while they sat around gossiping. "Oh geez-"

She turned heel to face everyone that was staying behind, and gave a brief bow, a bit like a ballerina, "See you all soon~" before she hurriedly dashed through the portal after Xander.

Kairi waved eagerly to both of them, a look of nostalgia and hope on her face. She sighed and draped an arm around Sora's shoulders, and gave a little nudge to Riku with her elbow. "Aw, look at them go on their first adventure, guys! I hope they like it...do you think they'll like it?"

Riku huffed, a faint smile passing across his face. That smile grew slightly, and he chuckled. "I'm more worried about whether or not they'll get along. You never know how people get when there's trouble.."

"Oh shush," Kairi answered, just as cheerfully as before. "They'll be fine!"

Bhae felt her eyes widen at the sight of the ship they would be boarding--forget the dock. That thing was enormous. It was the biggest boat-related object she'd ever seen. She took a few steps forward, and whistled softly to herself. It was then she heard Xander talking, and looked over to see him handing a stick of dynamite to one of the crew. Vincent. She remembered his name from the files. Just behind Xander came another figure--gangly, and goofy. In fact, he rather reminded her of Goofy with his billowy pants...anyway. The figure in question had enormously round glasses, and seemed to be in just as much awe as the two of them. He was walking backwards when he bumped into Vincent from the other side, causing him to drop yet another stick of Dynamite.

Milo, naturally, spun around to apologize..and his reaction was much the same as Xander's had been. He paused mid-sentence to stare. "I'm so sorry, I didn't--i-is that dynamite?!"

Bhae giggled. She had a feeling Xander and Milo were going to get along...she walked over, extending a hand to Vincent, "Sorry about that, we were hired last minute. Had to scurry-Name's Bhae, and this is Xander. Need any help carrying anything? We can worry about hello's and how-do-you-do's with everybody else after the ship's loaded."

Victor just frowned at Bhae, "Jeez...we've already got one kid," he glanced over at Milo after snatching the dynamite stick from him, "Why'd Whitmore hire you two?"

"I'm a bodyguard for Milo!" Xander said excitedly, causing the sailors nearby to burst out laughing. "You!? Bodyguards!?" One of them snorted.

"Well technically Bhae is a secondary medical officer." Xander said, still cheerful.

"Yeah...well....try to make sure the kid doesn't break a nail." Victor said over his shoulder as he walked off.

"Blondie! I got a bone to pick with you!" A scruffy bearded man wearing suspenders who Xander thought resembled a prospector said from a large wagon filled with crates of food. "What is it this time, Cookie?" the blond headed woman wearing a coat asked, it was Helga Sinclair, whom Milo recognized from his apartment.

"Ya dun' filled mah wagon to bustin' with non-essentials! Look at this, cinnamon, oregano , cilantro!?" he named off these items as he threw cans of them out of the wagon. "What the cockadoodle is cilantro!?" He held up a large head of lettuce, "What is this?" He asked Helga.

"Lettuce." Helga sighed.

"Lettuce!? LETTUCE!?"

"It's a vegetable, Cookie...the men need the four basic food groups." Helga massaged her forehead.

"I got yer four basic food groups! Beans, Bacon, Whiskey n' Lard!" Cookie shouted back, holding up three fingers.
