The Black Devil

He would then stand up, clearly still in quite a pain. He wouldn't lose his trace, not now after months of tracking down. "I'm saying this once... Give me tecton or not I'm burning this entire building," he said, this was sure to get a reaction and if he was lucky, for tecton to reveal himself so he could bring him in.

This one was not going away, but he didn't need an unbreakable or ruthless ally. The guns were good though, and he was the worst shot... Well really sucked with everything but improvised weapons. Having another set of eyes would be useful, but would also be risky. He was far from immune from bullets. So he held up his right index finger, "One... Just say fingers, or else you sound like you're trying to look needlessly smart." Middle finger, "Two, I don't need a ruthless killer, or powerhouse in this task, I could use a low flying gunman though." Giving him a smirk of confidence before, "Three, if you even think to betray me then we'll see if we can test how unbreakable you can be..." Then he turned away and his spectral limbs appeared, gripping into the ground as he hunched over, "Otherwise, feel free to help me out.... If you can keep up." With that, he launched himself forward.
He continued along his path, not slowing down a bit as he tore up and over buildings and streets. He was hoping this twin of his could keep up, but he planned to do this solo, and wouldn't be missing out if he couldn't.
He burst through a window of a terribly derelict abandoned complex warehouse and landed on a unsteady grated walkway on the second floor, slamming his hands against the railing with a grunt and steadying himself before walking around to the other side, overlooking the man made storm canal opposite to the hub.

On a Cargo Train
In the outskirts of Havaera was open fields. A beautiful countryside with farms and small communities. The only real sign of urban civilization was the railroad that passed through, connecting Haveara to Hale, then to Innovalle, and so on. A train passed by. It was a freight train, carrying some special cargo. A group of criminals called The Freighters are in control of that train, and they plan to unleash the special cargo into the city. Whatever it was, it was deadly.

At the caboose, two guards noticed a car driving on the highway nearby. They thought nothing of it first, until the passenger began shooting energy bullets out of his left, metal arm. The two guards fired back, but a force field stopped the bullet from intercepting.

"It's Tecton!" they called out, but when they got a closer view, they had a sigh of relief. It wasn't Tecton; it was some teenager driving with Yany Mi-"It's the God of Metal!" The guards began firing but the passenger created a shield for him and also fired the energy bullets again. The two guards were taken out.
The car drove right next to the train and the passenger jumped on. A guard came out of the caboose door and fired his gun. The passenger put up his shield and, once the guard ran out of bullets, hit the shield of the guard's head and pushed him overboard. The guard screamed as he tumbled in the grass.

Yany Mits climbed into the passenger side of the car. He was going to jump, but he was bit nervous. He would move but then return to his stance.

"Yany!" called out the passenger, whose named was Handler Walksun. "Jump!" He put out his hand. Even he was nervous. "I'll catch you!"

Yany's heartbeat matches the sound of the train. He looked ahead of the car. He was about to crash into a tree. Realizing his options, he jumped onto the train. The car crashed into the tree, leaving an explosion and smoke.

Yany and Handler were breathing heavily, when Handler smiled and said, "Another happy landing." Yany looked him with a face that spells out really?.

Yany catches his breath. "Alright, Obi Wan," He said, still breathing heavily. "Let's go."

Dávid looked at Echo with a bit of a blank face. "Alright, guess that means we're doing the training pairs. Rylan, you're with Irene. Maxwell, you can be with Echo or Bryce. Lanai, same goes for you. Echo or Bryce." The real reason that Dávid didn't pair Irene with Echo was because Irene was ruthless and would break her like a twig. Same goes for any sidekick. He went over to Irene and tapped the girl's shoulder.
"Hm?"

"I don't want to see any accidents. Go easy on 'em."

"Fair enough." Irene turned on her heel and began to walk toward the empty training room. She raised a hand for Bryce, Lanai, Echo, Maxwell, and Rylan to follow her. Hopefully they all did. She went into the training room, opened the doors, and propped them up. With a smile, she began to set up several training dummies. As a joke, she set them all to the heaviest weight setting, meaning that not even she, with her supremely enhanced strength, could knock one over in a single punch. If anything, Irene enjoyed making recruits feel like they were weaker than they really were not for her satisfaction, but because she had to make them work for their rank.

"Alright. Everyone line up in front of a dummy and deliver two left hooks and an uppercut like so." He demonstrated by punching the face of the dummy twice before slamming his fist into its chin. The dummy did nothing more than budge a little bit before rocking back to its original state. "Three sets of twenty seconds. GO!" Dávid tweeted the whistle loudly in the hopes that everyone would start immediately.

Elliot was smiling as the man was talking. He didn't have a lot of virtues and usability which he sees now, or it could just be his twin yelling out all of the things he does and doesn't need. The betraying wasn't something that Elliot would do nor would he want to do it, it was unnecessary. As the man flew into the sky, or threw himself into the sky, Elliot didn't care about the specifics but he needed to keep up with the man, so that Elliot can fulfill his mission on finding trouble. What a weird day.

Elliot grew his phantom around him, picking up his dufflebag and than jumping onto cars, using them as steps to follow the man. He didn't land lightly on the cars, but jumped off them right as he landed. He couldn't ensure that cars that he landed on didn't have people in it, but at this point, he couldn't care less. It's not like Elliot wanted attention, he just wanted to do trouble, or find it at least. And there he did.

His Phantom was steaming, and losing it's density, he at least had just some time to keep on moving, Elliot jumped to the window where his twin entered, and followed him in. His Phantom dissipated into thin air as he observed everything inside, having the time of his life. "Well, isn't this fun." Elliot said somewhat quietly, looking ahead at his twin.

Yany and Handler got into the car in front of the caboose. It was filled with shelves of storage. There were weapons everywhere, including a shield generator. There were plenty of bombs as well, along with hacking devices.

"I knew this group was trouble," snared Handler. "And you didn't believe me."

"What can I stay?" Replied Yany, calmly. "They are called the Freighters."

Handler thought of a joke for a couple seconds. "Well, it isn't very freightioning." He began to laugh.

Yany shushed him as he looked around. He found a strange gray with purple potta-dots egg, with sharpie on it saying "HAVAERA". Yany recognized it as a Wyrensar egg.

"Handler, you got to see this."

"You gotta take a look at this cliche," Handler said as he walked over. "Ding!"

"Handler," Yany said, a bit nervous. "They plan on releasing a Wyrensar in the city."

"What are those again?"

"A combination of a snake, dragon, and shark. It slitters, flies, and swim at fast rates. It's ageing is 5 years per 10 seconds and it can shoot fireballs. We have to inform HQ."

Yany took his communicator out. "Hello? HQ? This is Yany Mits. We are on the A25 railroad line heading to Havaera. We are on a train with a terrorist group onboard, who are going to strike the city with a Wyrensar. Please send help, over."

"Oh! Make sure that Amelia comes!" exclaimed Handler, excitingly.

Yany looked over at Handler and gave him the really? face again. Handler blushed. "N-nevermind," said Handler, embarrassed.

Yany gave him a big grin. "Make sure you send Amelia over, over."

Thank God It's Friday
The Violet Phoenix
Location: Above A25
Friday looked down at the emergency exit with a dull expression, cracking her knuckles. For some reason, she chose the wrong train to board. Having scouted it before it left its station, Tecton's sister clearly enjoyed the terrorist group known as the Freighters. However, she needed to take matters into her own hands.

She looked down at her phone and put it up to her ear, listening to the message sent to the hero HQ. Sounded like a hero named Yany Mits was requesting backup for a terrorist situation. Friday closed her eyes and held her hands out toward the ceiling of the caboose.

The emergency exit began to rattle. At first, slowly, then the vibration increased violently as the metal was practically carving a hole into the roof of the train. Of course, there were easier ways around it but, of course, Friday liked to make an entrance.

The girl tore the metal entrance off of the train, sending it tumbling several meters back before crashing off of the train. Friday smirked at her handiwork and lowered herself into the train, landing with a silent
'thud' at the back of the caboose. To get the attention of the two heroes, Friday snapped her fingers twice and spoke slowly. Her voice was wavy, with an unearthly flare to it.

Handler turned into a tomato. "WHAT?!" He yelled. "You can't just say that! What are you, nuts?!"

"I'm just trying to be your wingman, boy," Yany explained, with a grin on his face. "It's time for Charlie Brown to meet the Red-Head Girl."

"No, it is not the time!" Handler exclaimed. Yany was just giggling. "This is funny to you? She's 18; I'm 17! There's no way we can date. Plus, I know nothing about her."

"Which is why I set-up your first date my little man!" Yany laughed. Yany sighs and stood on the side of the wall. "I remember my first crush. What was her name...ummm..." He was snapping his figures. "Shayne! That was her name. She was beautiful and wore the best outfits. It was great, but yet I knew nothing about her. I never approached her so I never got the chance. So, what I'm doing is helping you out with your date."

Handler rolled his eyes. All of a sudden, the front door busted down and gunfire was taking over the room. "Freighters!" Handler called out. Handler and Yany took cover in between gaps of the storage shelves. Handler began firing his energy bullets and using a shield to block the incoming bullet. Yany took out his completely metal gun and began to fire. Bullets hit Yany's arm, causing it to bleed metal. Around his wound, metal was beginning to cover his skin. He began to scream.

Handler saw this and took action. He was planning of throwing his shield, but it completely disappeared from the bullets, and it will take a while to make another one. Handler ran out of the gap and created a force field, but it was being eaten away by each bullet.

"Are you done yet?!" Handler yelled.

"Almost!" Yany yelled back. He stopped bleeding metal and the metal covering the part of skin was almost gone.

"Well almost ain't gonna cut it!" Handler yelled. His force field was almost gone.

Yany got up and pulled out another gun on the shelf. "Let's do this," he said.

Handler dropped the force field and Yany began firing. The Freighters began to fall one my one. Yany was hit several times, but he seemed to ignore, even as metal very slowly covers his skins. Handler pulled a grenade off the shelf, set it off, and launched it at the Freighters. It took half of them out.

Yany dropped the gun and pulled out his metal pole, which he turned into a sword. He began to slaughter the Freighters like animals. The first few Freighters fired their guns at him but were blocked by his sword. The next Freighters pulled out knifes, but the sword cut right through them. The final Freighters tired to run away, but they were shot by Handler. Either way, they all died.

Yany and Handler looked over the pile of dead bodies. Handler was creating another shield.

"We must go," said Yany. "More freighters will arrive soon."

"I guess I'm wrong," exclaimed Handler. "They were very freightioning."

Yany gave Handler the really? face again. "Let's just go," he said, annoyed. "I have no time for this."

Handler was almost done with his shield. "Dude, chill," whispered back Handler. "What's the worse that a girl can do?"

"Handler, that's sexist," whispered Yany. "I recognize her from the files. She's only a myth but she is labelled a level three threat."

"Humth," Handler whispered. "No one can stand up to the Walksun." Handler coughed and spoke aloud, "Hey girl! Where's your pants?"

"Handler!" whispered Yany, annoyed. "Let me handle this." Yany spoke aloud, "Listen. We don't need to engage violently. Let me introduce myself; I'm Yany Mits and this is my sidekick, Handler Walksun."

The last thing that the bat said was enough to nearly drive Roxanne over the edge. She kept her patience with him and simply began to warm up the man's loaves of bread for him. "Oh, I can't accept this money, sir. Not after you had to endure our mindless quarreling within the store. You get bread for free today." She slid the bills back to the man and looked at him with an apologetic expression.

Meanwhile, Miko was just about ready to kill the bat. He growled and got to his feet, walking up to the bat and placing a hand on his chest.
"Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. This. Store. You. Will. Not. Find. Tech Tonk. Here." Tech Tonk. It was enough to make Roxanne cringe a little bit. Miko still felt like he had to do this.

With one simple pulse of his hand, an invisible field surrounded Miko's body in case the bat tried to attack him. However, the lack of the field's appearance would simply lead any attack to look like Miko having an enhanced durability.
"Get out of our store and stop threatening us."

Amelia just completed the dummy coverup when she felt her magma flare when the door busted open. She looked over and looked shocked at the two. She had always seen Irene here or there, but never talked to her. She understood why now.

"What? Me?" She pointed to herself confused. She has never been on a real mission without her hero mentor before. Even when she did go all she did was capture them like she did with all criminals. She glanced down at her communication and saw the message. She blushed and put it away. "I-I'm not sure. I don't think I'll be much help to you guys, honestly." She said as gently as she could.

Then, she turned around to walk out, but couldn't help to think about what all the heroes she met told her. And what she said before with the idea of being recongized. I'm so useless. I dream of being a hero and when the time arises that they need me I just wanna hide. What a hero I am. Maybe it's time to change that. I could acutally become something. I could actually do something... I'm scared. But, I've heard a lot of people are scared when they run into a burning building, or face off against another with a gun, or even go into cold water to save another. It's okay to be afarid, because that means your doing it right.

"Hm... O-okay. Fine. I changed my mind, let's go." I walk back over to them. "Ah, who is else is coming besides us? Also, how are we going to get there so soon?" I asked, finding my voice a little less shaky than before.

Friday Andermann
Friday watched as the heroes handled the issue. Before they could leave, however, Friday held out an arm and listened to their questions. She was particularly irritated with the boy asking about her pants, especially because he was even looking down there in the first place.

"You really just asked about my pants? How about I take yours off?" Friday stretched her arms above her head, and yawned. She yawned for a good five awkward seconds and shook her head before turning to the side and looking around the train. "My name is Tuesday." Of course, that was the biggest lie that Friday could give. She chose any other day of the week except for Sunday, Wednesday, and Monday. "Well? What am I waiting for?"

Friday began to inspect the train with her nose. She took in sniffs of the air, walking around the train before finally ending up next to the boy. For some reason, she stopped her odd mannerisms for a few seconds just to take a good look at the boy. Of course, she didn't think of anything but hunger as she turned back at the egg.
"I'm going to take your pants off."

Echo had been about to offer to help, but instead she was forcibly dragged. "WHF!" She shouted, trying not to trip and they ran. That wasn't a real word, but it was the closest she could get to one. It wasn't happy. She nearly cursed as she was dragged, though she mostly just went along.

When they got to Amelia's room, Echo perked up and quickly extended her hand for a very quick shake. "Hello! I'm Echo! Nice to meet you!" This girl seemed very nervous, kinda like Echo (The fidget cube was safely on the table, her nervous energy cube XD). "And, uh, you're gonna help. Please, we need all the help we can get. But now I think Irene is the only one with experience." She chuckled. "Let's go though! How are we getting there? Need to know now, I can fly there..."

"You can fly? Well, looks like you aren't as boring as I thought. Well, you can fly her there. I'll follow you the traditional way." Of course, this was nothing more than a joke from Irene's side. She felt like Blue at this point in time, almost exactly like the hero of her dreams. Despite being younger than the two before her, she felt like she could at least try to be authoritative. Unfortunately, authority was weird. That meant Echo was the leader.

"Your call, Echo. You two can fly, and I'll walk. A25 is here on the map. Catch." Irene pulled out her phone and tapped through several apps to get to A25's route to Havaera. She tossed the phone to Echo. "Alright, seven miles and closing. Let's bounce."

Ouch
Friday Andermann
That was terrifying. In slow motion in Friday's eyes, she began to watch the scene unfold. The older hero drew a gun, and the boy next to her conjured an invisible force-field like thing. Something about it reminded her of her brother, Miko, and she began to wonder. As soon as hot bullets flew towards Friday, she held up her hand.

The bullets stopped inches from her face, though a few of them grazed past her hands to leave black, hot blood to drip to the ground. She turned to the side and extended a hand out to cover her head as the shield came in. Friday flipped backwards onto the ground as the shield hit her arm.

"Oh, are we playing this game?" Friday spun her hand around and flicked her wrist, sending the bullets tumbling to the ground. She flexed her arms and grinned. Now it was time for her to show what a level three villain really could do.

She flicked her wrist once again, this time sending a powerful magnetic pulse outwards in an attempt to rock the train violently in hopes that she could throw the heroes off of their feet. At the same time, she rushed forwards at inhuman speeds and swung her fist straight at the older hero's chin in a swift uppercut.

"Flight?" She said suprised. Amelia looked over at Irene as she talked and mentioned how close the train was coming. A wave of nervousness seemed to collide with her, but she gulped it down and watched as Irene left.

She glanced down at her own phone to find the specifics. "Wyrenser eggs? Are they really planning on unleshing them on the city?" She said suprised to see such a creature again. How were they even able to get the eggs? She turned to Echo. "Ah, okay. I'm not quite sure how your powers work so..." She went behind her and grabbed her shoulders.

"Okay, we need to hurry. I'm not sure how fast Wyrenmer eggs can hatch... Hopefully not soon." Amelia said nervously while she got ready to fly with Echo.

Handler fell to the ground as the train shook. Yany was punched straight into the ceiling, knocking him unconscious.

"Yany!" cried out Handler. He became very pissed. Handler got up, picked up his shield and Yany's bloody sword and was ready to attack Tuesday. His anger raged throughout his body and some of that anger became anxiety. Handler was getting very nervous. His anxiety has returned. Not now. He cried in his mind. Not now.

Suddenly, bullets came from the ceiling. A Freighter helicopter was firing at them. More Freighters appeared in the doorway and fired at the two. Handler put up a force field around himself, grabbed the Wyrenser egg, and ran out of the storage car, killing everyone in his way with the sword.

Handler jumped onto the latter on the side of the next car, and climbed to the top. He ran along the rooftops of the cars. He wish he didn't abandon Yany, but their was no choose. He would either die by pantless girl or stupidly named terrorists. He had to get this egg away from her.

Handler pulled out his communicator. "Code T3! T3! Hurry your asses over here!"

Bill hit Bob on the side of the head. "We saw them go in the car! How didn't you not know?!"

Bob was crying a bit. "I'm sorry, Bill. It was a mistake."

Bill was even more furious. "What?! Taking the wrong man's life is a mistake!? What are you-"

"There's the hero!" cried out Bob. He pointed to a guy running on the rooftops of the train cars.

Bill calmed down. "Wait," he said slowly. "I thought there was two of them."

"Did we get one?" asked Bob, happy and excited.

Bill wanted to make Bob happy. That's the reason why he signed this job up with him. "Yes, Bob," he lied, with a fake smile on his face. "We got one."

Bob was happy. "And we will get to level 2?" He asked, excited.

Bill lied again, "I bet we will."

Bob was crying with joy. His dream was about to come true. Soon, the smile of Bill's face became real. He is always happy to see him happy. Now, Bill was determined.

"Let's catch ourselves a hero." Bill exclaimed. Bill took control of the helicopter and began to fire the minigun at the hero on the rooftops.

Echo was honestly very surprised to have the lead in the situation, standing visibly shocked for a moment before shocking herself back to senses. She was a hero, she needed to be in control and needed to act fast. "Alright, we're off."

Echo concentrated for a moment and the two were rocketing into the air. It wasn't so much flying as controlling the winds to hold them up. She could feel the pressure beneath her holding them with force. Imagine balancing on a rather firm mattress, that's what her flying was like. The two moved fast for someone on the ground, but flying was kind of hard. Her face had a bit of red on it, but she simply sped up. "Plans?" Echo shouted at Amelia. "We need to be coordinated."

She would harden her magma, Irene could cursh the rocks, then Echo could blast the rocks forward to make a barrage of molten rock projectiles. It would be perfect.

"If you want, I can also melt the Wyremer eggs as well. But, I think we need to worry about stopping the train first." She said to the two of them.

Friday Andermann

Deadweight
Friday blocked the bullets with her hands, having them simply stop inches from her body with powerful electromagnetic pulses. It was a lot of effort, but then she saw the guy getting away with the eggs. Of course, that wasn't her priority anymore. Her new priority was the two helicopters.

Friday pulled herself onto the roof of the train and formed another powerful electromagnetic shield, now this one was geared towards redirecting the bullets back to the helicopters. She didn't understand her power enough to bring down the helicopters alone, but that still meant that she had to try and fight.

Irene jumped repeatedly several meters into the air, floating past the two. "Blue ain't here..."
Thud. Whoosh.
"If he was none of us would be needed.
Thud. Whoosh.
Of course, Irene wasn't exaggerating. Blue was the best sniper and, in Irene's opinion, should be a rank three hero. But of course he still had human limits. Being the only heroes with a drive to kill, not only out of necessity, Irene found that she was ready to tackle the train.

"There it is! I'm going in." Deadweight leapt forward once again, this time barreling into the train. She slid on the rooftop and landed next to Handler. "He-yo Handler! Backup's here! And yes, Echo's bringing Amelia. There are some little shitlings in the train, right? Gotchya." Before the boy could say another word, Deadweight tore a hole in the roof of the train and leapt in. She pulled out two pistols and fired in both directions, landing headshots on several of the Freighters without even blinking.

"Better hope reinforcements don't show up. Hey! Amelia! Echo! Don't come in here! It's a freakin' MESS!" Deadweight chuckled. She felt someone grab her from behind, possibly a Freighter. Without batting another eye, Deadweight simply hurled the Freighter through the hole in the roof, sending him right in front of the train tracks. The rest was obviously history.

SPLAT.

Howard Jefferson let out a sight as he climbed out of his limo. It was a long day in the Ewing corporate offices and he wanted to go home and relax. Suddenly, a gust of wind caught his hat and blew it into a dark alley. Howard let out a curse and ran after his hat. As he chased his hat, Howard saw a figure standing in the middle of the alley, as if he were waiting for Howard to approach. Howard stopped and said to the figure," What do you want?" The figure said to him in a calm, methodical, voice, " Oh Mr. Jefferson, it doesn't matter what I want, what matters is what I have planned for you." Jefferson let a gasp and said," You! Your supposed to be dead!" The figure said nothing but pulled what looked like a black apple out of his coat pocket and threw it at Howard's feet. The apple exploded into a green gas which quickly enveloped Howard and caused him to fall to the ground, obviously unconscious.

The figure snapped his fingers and two men came out of the shadows of the alley. One of the men, a tall, lankey figure wearing sunglasses said to him," Yeah boss." The figure then said to the men," Take him. His story is has yet to begin. By the time this story is over. The world will know the name Lorekeeper." As the two henchmen picked up the body and carried him into the shadows of the alley, Lorekeeper let out a insane laugh that echoed across the alleyway.
