Hello! My name is aliendestroya. I'm a semi-advanced ropleplayer who is  certainly not a newbie to roleplaying, just a newbie to this site. The only site I have ever roleplayed on is Feral Front and Occasionaly Xanje, which is actually where I've accrued most of my experience. However the lack of "Good" threads on the site and my want to look for something more has caused me to 'migrate' I guess to other sites. While I"m not abandoning the site I usually roleplay on I hope to meet new friends here and participate in roleplays that willa ctually last for weeks upon months and not die out after a few days.

Hey, it's great to meet you. There are plenty of roleplays I've seen on this website that are both really intriguing and immersive and last for quite a while, so hopefully you'll be able to find some that you like.

Yeah I hope so too! On the other site I typically hung aorund ta board dedicated to Post Apocalyptic, Fantasy, and Supernatural and that was it, with some forays into Anime and Tv related rps. I don't really know how this site works however because on the other typically there was a sign up thread and then an rp thread (and in some cases the two went together) but this site seems a lot more complex with more boards and sub-boards, so is it the same here or is there a few differences I should know about?

It's definitely more detailed than role play sites I've been on before, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty great. There's an interest forum where you can post your role play idea to see if you have any interested players, which you should be able to see on the main page, and that's pretty much the same as most other sites. For your actual roleplays, there are the different forum sections for different genres (fantasy, fandom, etc: you'll be able to see that pretty clearly as well), and in those there's the character, out of character and in character areas. Most of this should be pretty similar to what you're used to, otherwise it's really easy to get the hang of, at least in my opinion.


The other really cool thing they have here is the hosted games section, where people can make their own sort of subforum, with the characters, OOC and IC all together, and people can request to join and see everything all together. I'm pretty sure you can only make those after you've posted 250 times though, but they are definitely really convenient.
