I'm looking for a manga/anime with a plot that has a sweet love story but tons of action. Any ideas out there?

Well, you could try Tokyo Mew Mew - a clean one with a girl hoping for her love but with conflicting feelings for the other people, and another figure who is a little tiny bit possessive of her. There is plenty of action, despite it being a little more childish.
