Magnus stepped another step back, toward the other individual. This one looked a little friendlier, and also didn't send those strange impulses while talking. He nodded at Lelouch's suggestion that they should work together. Maybe they would find something. Also, this place seemed to be too dangerous to get very far alone.
"Why don't you put your trust issues aside", he asked Lord Ben with a cheeky smile, "And follow us for a while? Even if we were dangerous, we couldn't remember to be so. And neither can you. Also..."
As he talked, Magnus moved his hands up and down. As he turned one and raised his arm, a small gleam of blue light flew over the palm of his hand. Magnus stopped in the middle of his movements, looking at the small ball of light, which disappeared just a second afterwards. He looked pretty confused, but continued talking.
"Also, our strength lies in numbers here. So, why don't we decide to trust each other until one proves that wrong?"
Magnus looked at Lord Ben and Lelouch with an asking look.
"Alright?"
