Hi everyone!


I'm definitely new to this site, and forum RP, but not new to paragraph RP.


I'll be rusty. It's been awhile and I will need some patience as I try to get the creative juices flowing. I should be able to manage 1-2 paragraphs until I get my mojo back, and then I'll manage well with more.


Work is pretty slow these days so I have a feeling there will be plenty of time for me to respond to 1x1 rp's.


I'm interested in all sorts of genres and pairings, so if you have an idea, you can pitch it and I'll let you know if there's interest.

While browsing the threads I came across one that sounded fun. Walking dead themed. I'm into from historical, some fantasy, modern, sci-fi - just depends on the story line really!

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

I started in 2009 in a lame RPG game, then moved over to second life where I discovered paragraph role play. It was awesome! I just find it hard to be a part of the second life sims and follow along with all the story line, because I only have sporadic availability. So, I figured why not try forum rp!

Haha, glad to see the variety there! Oh gosh, I don't even want to think about when I first started roleplaying because it was sooooooo bad and so cringeworthy. But yeah, I think I did second life for a while, but quit it shortly after. And forum RP is pretty fun and people here are pretty cool. If you wanna nab a good roleplay, you can go ahead and just look for the requests or even start your own request thread if you're looking for something more specific.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've got a couple that are about to get started already! I don't want to overload my plate though, to make sure I can keep up with them. You never know what life is going to throw your way!

I am also new to this site but I have role-played on another site called mycandylove and maybe a few others that I can not recall the names of. I am hoping this will be an enjoyable site for me to use.
