Hi, I'm Cynthia, and I'm new here. I'm a bit shy, so I'm not very good at approaching others, but I'm very social and friendly when people come to me! I love to make friends, so by all means talk to me :D


I love writing (I wouldn't be here otherwise), and I enjoy writing darker, more intense pieces. I'm a fan of writing about the supernatural/occult and weaving it into the reality that we know (to make it a little more believable, you know?). I like fantasy stuff too, but I don't know a whole lot about the genre... but I'm sure plenty of people here can educate me well enough. Of course, I'm open to all sorts of things, so if anyone wants to RP with me, I'd be super happy for it!

A couple of tips I usually share with newcomers: Start by checking out the rules if you haven't already. Then I recommend checking out the roleplay recruitment areas. There’s the 1x1 Roleplay Recruitment forum (for 1x1 or private RPs) and the Roleplay Recruitment forum (and its subforum for dice-based game recruitment), where authors advertise for players for their group games. Those are the best places to find a group RP to join or find a writing partner. You can create a new thread there as well, if you are ready to start a story and just need a partner.

Finally, you may also want to pop by the Shoutbox for real-time chat with members. It’s a great way to introduce yourself to the community and meet a few members. We're all friendly. :)

thank you! to be completely honest, most of my pieces that I still have are unfinished (I've long lost all my work from junior high years), but I have a few that I've made really good progress with, and have a lot of potential :D
