Hello!

I'm still waiting for my 24 hours to be up too, so I'm not really sure what to do. I would give you my Tumblr, but I think that counts as a self-promotion type thing which is against the rules.
*looks at watch* the wait is on!!!

Till then, we could be dorks here if you want to.

[QUOTE="Vanity Infinite]*google's dork* A dull, slow witted, or socially inept person...
Yup, sounds about right! I'm with you!

*Laughs.* You're a goof. I already like you.

So, why dontcha tell me a bit about yourself? *Sits on the floor.*

Oh wait... I thought I was just giving a self description! :P

Hmmm... well, what's there to tell on a public venue that I'd be okay with EVERYONE reading (because yes, our dorky interaction is just THAT important)... Well, rather obvious... I like reading/writing... As for other hobbies in life. I have tooooo many, honestly. I'm extremely addicted to board/table games. I've even ventured out and started making my own... so I suppose I like to tinker about... how about you? One for one?

Well, I'm a small nerd who loves video games and anime. I tend to draw and write a lot and I've only recently started getting into tabletop RPGs. And by recently, I mean I started November/December of last year.

*Taps my chin.* Hmm.... What else... I tend to cosplay quite a bit. I'm also a huge fan of Homestuck, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and a lot of other things.

Nerd - A single-minded expert in a particular field... Yeah... sounds like we'll get along just fine :)

Video games and anime eh? So what video games are you 'nerding' out right now? ;)

What tabletop games have you just gotten into (DnD I'd assume?). Do you tend to draw things that you see from someone else, or create your own... umm... creations?

So when you say cosplay... are we talking full on comicon attender/dress-up?

Well, I finally got my hands on my favorite video game of all time, Threads of Fate for PS1. I've been looking for that game for 10 years and I was lucky enough to find it in pristine condition. I'm also playing a lot of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

I've gotten into DnD, Savage Worlds, and World of Darkness. They're all a lot of fun.

With drawings, I do a mix of both. I draw a lot of stuff from video games and anime, but I also draw a lot of my own characters as well. My avatar is one of them.

And with cosplay, I try to go all out. Right now, I've only cosplayed as Link from Legend of Zelda, Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and Dave Strider from Homestuck. I plan on getting grey body paint at some point to cosplay as Sollux Captor who's also from Homestuck.

I hadn't had a console system since... well... SNES (maybe I just dated myself there) *shrugs*, and just got a PS4 recently... so my main source of gaming has been PC for years and years. I didn't know Savage Worlds was a table top RPG... I've never really been one to get into RPGs in reality... I find them far too addictive online, so figure it'd only be compounded by the tenth in reality. I do, however, have Savage Worlds on PC :/

That's really neat. Excellent drawing for your avatar. I'm a bit jealous to be honest. I've been doing a lot of CGI fiddling lately and have done some absolutely ridiculous drawing's that I've been trying to import as character's to bring to life... but... yeah, they basically end up looking like big blobs with legs and arms :/

When we finally get each other's info... I think I might just have to see your cosplay stuff!

I actually grew up on SEGA Genesis and a bunch of older video game units. The newest console I have is a Wii U which I love dearly.

Thanks. ^_^ Surprisingly, the lil' guy was just a doodle that I did during my college English class when we had a break. I took a picture of him and started making him look nice on Photoshop and then poof, now he looks like that. And CGI tends to be difficult. I wanna try to get into it at some point, but I'm working with sprites first.

Sadly, the only cosplay pictures I have are of my Dave one. The ones of my Link cosplay were accidentally deleted by my brother and I didn't get any good ones of my Ramona one.

Haha.... oh yes, SEGA Genesis, those were the days :)

That's a bit sad that he deleted them (sorry for the delay responding... stepped away for a moment).

CGI is difficult, I agree. I've watched so many tutorials it's ridiculous... maybe we can learn that together too :) Would be good to have someone to bounce idea's off of that's at the same level I am :)

My first game was the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. Those were the days.

I know that there's a program for 3D models called DAZ Studio. I think its free. My brother uses it for a lot of stuff involving 3D models of people.

Also, I'm gonna be gone for a bit because of work. If my 24 hours is up by the time I get home, I'll shoot you a PM. :D

Haha, yes... those were the days indeed!

The program I tend to use is Blender (it's 100% free) and for creation of human's there's a program called "makehuman" that works well with Blender, but I'll have to check out DAZ Studio... always good to fiddle in more.

That works. Have a good time at work. Talk soon via PM!
