I'm new to this website, as you can see, but I've been roleplaying for about three years. I signed up for RPN to find a brand-spankin'-new roleplay community, as I feel I've outgrown my old one, and this place looks really nice. The only problems is that I don't know what to say so I'm just staring blankly and motionlessly at my computer screen. Introductions are not my forte. Luckily, I have emotes to fill the silence. (8))


Let's see. What's interesting about me? I'm a Scorpio, INTP, and 5w4. I write poetry, I'm interested in film and astrology, and I like looking at pictures of the ocean in my spare time. I prefer one-on-one roleplays, but I'll join group threads of about 2-5 participants if I feel so inclined -- I just easily get stressed when replies are too quick. I like fantasy and modern genres, and (currently) characters over twenty years of age, because I've been burnt out on the whole teenage angst thing. Honestly don't people get enough of that in real life? I usually play male characters. My average post length is approximately 700-1000 words, and I request that my roleplay partners reach that. Any tips or information you have that you think would serve me well will be greatly appreciated. I think that's all.

Hi there!


I am also new to the site but not new to roleplaying - although, I admit, I'm a bit rusty. I would be super interested in starting a one x one with you if you're up for it! I tend to write a lot so I should be able to meet your 700 - 1000 post preference, and also prefer that things do not move to quickly. Life does get a little busy, so I feel as though a calmer posting pace is better suited to my needs.


I'm a Sagitarius, ENTP, dog lover and beach enthusiast. Hummingbirds are my spirit animal (hence the sn) and I'm interested in pursuing child psychology. As for hobbies - I haven't had much time for one until recently so we'll see! Feel free to call me Nik What rp might you be interested in starting?

I'm up for anything that interests me. As long as it has a good plot and I can develop a dynamic character for it, I'm down. Perhaps we should shoot for something simpler and easier to manage as a storyline, such as modern/urban/crime? We wouldn't have to do much work to start that one. It could be a warm-up of sorts. (':3)

Lets do it! I am sorry for going a little bit MIA, I have the GRE's on Saturday so I have been prepping.


But I'm feeling the crime angle... perhaps a crime ring type deal? Murder? Or something white collar? Two people after the same goal (jewelry; a book; information). Maybe one character assumes the identity of the other? Perhaps something with a twinge of fantasy?


I haven't hit the 10 post limit for new accounts yet so I can't privately message you, but I will when I can!
