Melting in the summer heat
Ladies and gentlemen of Nation, I'm here to introduce myself as a newcomer! (And not to fulfill the one post requirement, oh no no no, definitely not that!).
You may call me Mander, Wulf, or any variety of the sort. Currently, I am a 20 year old unemployed nobody/college drop-out looking to finally get back into writing after a half-year/year of hiatus (I can't remember the last time I've engaged in a roleplay, to be honest). In terms of writing, I'd fancy myself as literate/advanced with a solid 10 or 11 years of writing under my belt, but I don't like to wave around skills, so allow me to take a more humble approach: I can write. Decent.

Unfortunately, come first time introductions with potential writing partners, I have a habit of coming off stiff and a little too polite, perhaps. But I warm up eventually - it just takes time to jump the hurdle. As I am anxious when it comes to meeting new people, however, that may take some back and forth before I completely feel at ease. Dangers of the internet and all that (or maybe I'm just a little too paranoid as well).
Now for a few fun facts... because everyone loves fun facts, right?
- I'm a bio nerd
- never use cuss words unless in-character
- described as having the soul of a 60-year old (maybe that was a joke, but they seemed serious)
- I have a couple mental illnesses that may or may not be relayed unless it is pertinent information to fellow writing partners
- and lets not build a stair-case list, so I'm gonna make this shorter than the last one
I hope this entire little introduction didn't come off as too... curt? Arrogant? I don't want to sound impolite. In any case, I'm looking for writing partners I can write stories with and thought this site may be a good start.
