"I got them." Said Fabian who was carrying the tenth one. It was the one with the clothes so it was the lightest. Once he had reached the door he looked about and made sure done were watching. "Intus" The trunks lifted from the ground and went inside the house after he had unlocked it. They rested just inside the door and began to follow him as he went up the stairs. "Never been here, but I managed to get a piece of paper on where everything is. Upstairs has all the bedrooms and the libray along with a study. Pick any room you want. I will be getting the room right next to the library." That room was the master room and he'd be happy to have a large room for once, though he imagined all of these rooms were big.

She nods and picked up her trunks. The heaviest on the bottom. She walked up the stairs. She picked a room close to his. It was larger then what she was use to. Winifred dropped her trunks in the room and sighed. "I am going to go check the perimeter. You enjoy your space. Just holler if you need me."She says. Winifred went downstairs and outside the mansion. She looked around and walked for the back and took her shoes off. She hid them in the bush. She took her shirt and pants off as well and hid them with her boots.She cringed as she felt the change coming. Winifred changed and looked around at the aream she ran around in her wolf form. She made sure everything was protected. Winifred changed back and dressed quickly. She walked back inside as she was fixing her boot. She had hunted a little bit while she was in her wolf form, so she wasn't really hungry.

Fabian was in the library and was busy putting his books away. It was harder than he expected as the library was already full of books. But at last he had finished as Winifred came back inside. He saw her and noticed she had a leaf in her hair. "Hey you got a leaf in your hair." He then headed down stairs and was about to look for something to eat when he realized this place had no food yet. "Hey want to go down the street with me to get a bite to eat?"

Winifred nods. "Oh um thank you." She said. She pulled the leaf out." I will go with you as I am supposed to, and eating yeah sure why not."she said. She sighed. She would have to hide her none human diet better. She had forgotten to hide the evidence and bones. She smacked her head and sighed."stupid" she muttered. "Alright let's go." She said and grabbed the door after you." She said and grabbed a gun as well as a dagger before she heads out.

Fabian went out the door and began heading into where he knew was more towards the center of town. He didn't know any of the places here but he didn't care, he'd figure it out. About ten minutes of walking later they found themselves on a busier street and he looked about, seeing a man selling newspapers he asked for direction and after getting them headed to a restaurant that served fish and potatoes. It also had curry on the menu.


Fabian ordered the curry and waited for Winifred to place her order. "Shall we order a pitcher of beer or a pot of tea?"

Winifred sighed as they walked. As the street became busier she kept her eyes and ears open. She took a military stance and kept close. When the got to the restaurant, she looked around making sure everything was safe before she sat."Sorry no ale for me have to be sharp on my toes. You how ever can go right a head." She said. Winifred ordered anything with meat and rare as possible. She got water. Winifred tapped her nail like claws on the table.

Fabian just ended up getting a glass of beer and when the food arrived he dived in as though he hadn't eaten all day, which was a lie. He had eaten jerky and bread on train. Being a wizard, magic required him to use his energy. The more he used the more fatigued he would be. Usually for him it was just hunger and the need to take a nap, but today all he needed was a good meal.


It didn't take him long to eat, perhaps 5 minutes in total and the plate was a good size and the rice with the lamp meat all topped with the cury sauce had been piled to a good height. He patted his now full belly and waited on Winifred. "Hey so you know. I will treat you like an equal. I don't expect special treatments from you."

Winifred watched around them and looked back at him. She drank her water happily and got a few more glasses. She had eaten before this so was not hungry at all. She was tired, but would barely sleep. She knew that from being a solider she bit her bottom lip and watched around him.


When the food arrived she ate little and pushed her plate away. Winifred looked up as spoke. She laughed. "Its my job to protect you. I am more a servant then anything else." She said."protecting watching and keeping you safe is my job."she said.

"Live a little. You don't have to be on my ass. Think of yourself as a housemate that gets paid to live there. You really don't need to be so tense." Said Fabian as he picked at her plate. He got that she wasn't hungry, not that it bothered him. "So tell me what is your family like? Do they support you being a female solider?"

She laughed. "Live a little, I wish I could."She said. She watched him pick at her plate. She didn't care. Winifred pushed it towards him."Go a head I am not really hungry."She said. She leaned back and looked at him."Housemate, thanks but I can't we have a one mind track to protect. Also not tense its how I sit didn't learn any other way."She said. When he asked about her family her nails dug into the wood with no trouble. " my Family, hmm well there all very polite and inviting. They wish for more for my brother then they do me. Me I am the leper of the family. Only reason they support me is hoping they get rid of there problem child. The monster as they call me at home."She says and pulled her nails out of the wood table.

"Damn must be rough." Said Fabian as he finished her food. He paid their bill and stood up. "Any place you want or need to go to?" Fabian always had this thing about treating everyone well.nsidnr matter how big or small the favor was.

"Rough I just don't care anymore I live with who I am and the monster inside." She said. "I am okay where ever you wish to go I will follow. "Winifred said and smiled. She stood and yawned."I however could use a np I am so tires from that train ride."She said

"Fair enough. Let's head back home. We can go out and get dinner later if we want." Said Fabian as he began to lead them back home. "Sleep as long as you want. I'll be reviewing some of the old books that came with the house."

"Don't hesitate to call for me if your in any sort of trouble. "She said. Winifred sighed seeing the house. Once they were home. She went up and took her hair down. She undressed and got under her covers. The minute she layed down, her eyes closed and she fell fast asleep. Winifred was draped over the bed her covers got kicked off being a werewolf she was beyond warm .

Fabian gave her a nod before she vanished. When she was out of sight he went IP into the library where he had let Penn be free. Penn was flying over head and had managed to get some of the books into the desk and was reading them.


"So did you make a move? She probably hasn't been touched by a man." Said Penn.


"Dan. You know you are the biggest pervert in the universe. We haven't even known each other for a day."

Winifred slept through the hours up till about Dinner. Feeling hungry woke her. She had almost been out for 11 hours. She had needed sleep and this was the first time she had gotten some in a while. She dressed and fixed her hair. She put on black pants a white shirt. She put a corset that tightened in the front.


Octavia walked down the hall. She knocked on the library door."Fabian?' She asked quietly.

"Enter. Just reading some books." Said Fabian from within. He hasn't been paying attention to the time and to him only a few hours had past.


When she entered the room he looked at her and she seemed better. "That wasn't a long nap. Do you feel better?"

Winifred walked in and looked around" yeah sorry about that i feel much better. I haven't slept in days. So it was a much needed rest sorry if I slept to long." She said as she apologized.


Winifred looked at all the books. "Oh wow, so many to read."She said. She was impressed. She loved reading. She looked at a book on a stack and smiled wiping off the dust.

"Yeah. I brought I dunno maybe a 20th of this. The rest were already here. So lots to cover. These are all in Latin too." Said Fabian as he put down a volume that was over magical beast. The sort of beast that stayed as they were, never shape-shifting. A few volumes after that one covered transformations and curses. He rubbed his eyes as he looked at her and as he saw the window he saw that night was on them. "Damn. I would have sworn it was only a few hours."

Winifred raised an eyebrow and smiled. " oh wow."She said. That was all she could say. Winifred smiles." Yeah it's been 11 hours. "She said and yawned. She stretched and sighed. "So dinner. I am hungry. "She said. She leaned over and her wolf necklace fell out of her shirt it had a sapphire in the moon.


Winifred watched him she looked up spotting penn. "Um what exactly is that?"She asks

"A smart assed, perverted, spirit trying to look like a dragon." Said Fabian as he shot Penn a dirty look that told him to behave himself.


Penn was flapping around and had perched on top of a book shelf when Winifred knocked and watched as she moved about the room. "Hey careful with those books with your man hands. Don't need you to ruin them. Fucking mortals... They like to burn books."


"AND RUDE!" Said Fabian as got up and walked over to him. "If you want to you can throw a rock at him. Maybe he'll learn some manners. Honestly how will anybody ever like you?"

Winifred nods." I see." She watched him. He was interesting looking and very cool she how ever lifted and eyebrow.


When the dragon like thing insulted her. She nods and smiles. " one sec," she said and threw a dagger at him."watch who you insult over grown rat."She said. She had a temper especially being a werewolf. "I am not just a mortal." She snapped"In fact I am not even mortal."She said

"I like her Fabian. Has more steel than you. So would you care to enlighten us? I caught that doesn't smell mortal thing earlier to." Said Penn as he flew down from where he had been. The dagger hadn't scared him. Many mortal tools and weapons were of no danger to him. Sure his body would be destroyed but his spirit would remain.
