"First Day." A soft voice broke the silence of the beautiful hallway. It was decorated with floor to wall windows. They peered out into the opening of an amazing court yard. This time of year all the plants were still in blow before the chill finally killed them off. He pressed his hand the glasses as he leaned forward and glared out into the rising sun. The warm orange light reflected off of a pair of beautifully crafted blue eyes. They were the color of the morning sky just waking up to greet the people of the world.. no not just people but... things. The man combed his fingers through his unnaturally blonde locks. The sigh that escaped him fogged the glass. Jack it is a new year... Surprisingly it was a new year.. another year of this long long lived life. He grinned and wiped away the fog before stepping back and strutted to his lock. "Lets make this count."
