Fandom Heavenly Heretics Harshly Harming Hellions

There's some links on the Lore page of the actual RP with some encourage reading, the Type-Moon Wiki is pretty intense.

I appreciate the honesty, if you tell me what wiki I'm supposed to hit up I'll see if it's something I can write decently. If it isn't I won't waste your time with further questions aha

It's about the same as joining a Fairytail rp without actually having read or watch Fairytail. Magic is magic. Given the complexity of Type-Moon magic/lore, almost anything goes so creating a character isn't very difficult (like making something for one piece). You just wouldn't be able to appreciate the lore bits as much unless you read up on them. I'd actually advise just reading the lore as you go along (and it becomes relevant in the rp) rather than trying to get to know everything (because that's pretty much impossible given how extensive it is) Trust me. People will tell if you're breaking something.

Yet somehow, people have told me that i made tokyo ghoul characters better than people who have watched tokyo ghoul.

From what I gather it's magic people fighting demons, vampires, monsters of unholy sort.

As for powers if it's like one piece that makes a bit more sense. "Every one has something unique to them"

I was thinking of a mix between kano and noob saibot for a character so I'm not sure how a shadow man money hungry killer would work in the church

For the most part, the Burial Agency doesnt seem to care about the devotion of their members. So long as they are dedicated to their job of getting rid of what the Church sees as uh, 'inconveniences', they should be okay in their eyes.

That's generally because people who know the anime/manga would try to slide in a canabalistic chimera ghoul or something, saying it's canon, while a person who isn't deep in the series would just make the average joe ghoul. Interestingly, joe ghouls are generally more well liked.

Though, none of that really says anything about how well rounded a character is. A character isn't defined by abilities alone =P

Magic in the Type-Moon universe is really weird because there's like five different magic systems running at once. lol.

If all else fails, just say the character is from a parallel universe accidentally brought to the Burial Agency by some sort of futuristic time magic/magecraft. That sort of thing exists, right?

Aliens do too I think.

Type-Moon also has weird multiverse shenanigans but the rules tend to be the same no matter which universe you're talking about.
